I went to visit RS Orthodontics and was informed in order to receive any information about correcting my underbite created from a sleep apnea oral device, there would be a charge for a consultation of $50, which I agreed to pay. As soon as the orthodontist stepped into the room, I informed her that I was retired and didn't have ortho insurance and was concerned about the costs, she stated, if costs is the concern, I'm not going to be your low cost solution. I sat in the chair for 5 minutes and she charged me $50. More interested in making money than taking care of patients. read more

I agree with Mary S. At no point during my experience was I happy with rs ortho. Dr.Sebbahi herself was rude and disrespectful not only to me but to her workers. She never knew what she was doing. If a brace came lose, she left it, her course of treatment was never clear, etc... She never talked to parents directly. I noticed she never had the same workers and could not keep anyone. She was never able to get my insurance after 3 1/2 years. When we wanted the braces off, she wanted us to sign an agreement. We are now at a different orthodontics with braces again, because even after 3 1/2 years teeth are not straight. Overall, I wish I had asked around more because now when we mentioned where we went the reaction it never good, and everyone seems to have the same kind of story. read more

Took my daughter to get evaluated for braces and its all about the money. was charged 400.00 for xrays and records. The average charge for braces in this area is 3000.00 to 5000.00. I've been coming here since I was in 7th grade and I'm now a sophomore in college. I would never go anywhere else, the staff here is so sweet and kind. and Dr. Sebbahi always does an amazing job. She always makes sure you're on track with your treatment and doesn't stop treatment until your teeth are absolutely perfect. The prices are also more reasonable than I originally thought before I started treatment! Highly recommend this place, always been a favorite! read more

I would not recommend this office to no one. There always seems to be a revolving door of staff never the same people. It is hard to get ahold of anyone on the phone. It seems like it is all about the money and not the continuity of care. I have never been to a place where a parent is not allowed to go back with an under age child before till this place. All the five star reviews there is I absolutely do not believe those are made by real patients or parents. We forwent the discount we would have gotten by taking our other daughter to them and went to another office because it is horrible here. read more

After being in the dental field myself for decades, it's great to find doctors such as this one who take their time with patients. It seems that so many orthodontist offices are like cattle calls and they rarely take time out to discuss individual patients needs like Dr Sabbahi does. That being said, I can see why our appointment may have been delayed a little, but knowing that our individual needs are being met is much more important than being seen at an exact time -- especially since my child's smile will last a lifetime! We have visited several offices before we choose RS Orthodontics for braces for our two kids. We found Dr.Sebbahi to be very knowledgeable and caring and the staff are very accomodating. It has been two years now and my daughter just got her braces off and she has the best smile we can ask for. The process is easy and fun for the kids. My kids look forward to their appointments. They do appreciation events, contests and sponsorship..We have several friends who go t here and they are all happy and think that Dr.Sebbahi is an asset to the community. read more

I'm disappointed to have to say that our experience with Dr. Sebbahi ended poorly. Our orthodontic care was transitioned from Dr. Vanderhook to Dr. Sebbahi after Dr. Vanderhook's retirement. Toward the end of my daughter's orthodontic care, while placing a permanent bottom retainer, Dr. Sebbahi mentioned that the retainer may not hold (the environment wasn't ideal) and, if so, just to bring her back in. As expected, the retainer came off after 2 short months and I called immediately to have it put back on. The office could not accommodate an apt. for a month. The day before our apt., I received a phone call reminding us of our apt. and notifying us that the reinstall would be $75. I was shocked. The retainer was expected to come off and knowingly placed when the environmental wasn't optimal. During the apt., Dr. Sebbahi even went so far as to imply that my daughter pulled the retainer out, rather than it coming out on its own. That was so upsetting to my daughter, who had bitten into an apple and was already feeling bad that the retainer had come out. Dr. Sebbahi said the retainer was bent, could not be put back in, and that an additional $150 would need to be paid for a new retainer. I was so disappointed in the entire experience. After several discussions with the office manager and a lengthy discussion with Dr. Sebbahi, she finally agreed to reinstall the bottom retainer. I wish I could say it ended there. When we came back for the reinstall, the staff manager informed us that because were were late, Dr. Sebbahi would be significantly delayed in seeing us. When I asked for confirmation of check-in time, it was 5 minutes later than our apt. Making this final apt. worse, Dr. Sebbahi was hostile toward me during the install, making it uncomfortable for my daughter. When I asked a question, she blamed our lengthy discussion during the prior visit for the reason she couldn't give my daughter the attention she needed and went further to accuse me of questioning every decision she makes. It was unprofessional, without consideration for my daughter's comfort and experience, and without respect for my questions regarding the orthodontic care I was paying for and impacting my daughter. We will not be returning to Dr. Sebbahi for orthodontic care and will not be recommending her. read more

We had a similar experience as Tracy S. We were unhappy with the care we received from Dr. Sebbahi and her response to our concerns. When presented with concerns, Dr. Sebbahi comes across as dismissive and rude. The office seems to be overbooked, leaving no time to fix broken brackets, etc. If you have a problem, instead of scheduling an appointment, it's suggested that it can be fixed at the next routine appointment. Routine appointments at this office are scheduled every two months, so you are often left waiting a long time to be seen. The staff members seem professional and nice enough given the circumstances, but it should be noted there appears to be high staff turnover rate. read more

The checkups on my braces was always thorough and scheduling appointments was convenient and stress free. Everyone there was always very friendly and answered any questions I had. My young son has been seeing Dr. Sebbahi for braces and to pull a front tooth down that wasn't descending on its own. This has been a complicated and painful process for my son. The office itself is charming and clean, the staff is personable and friendly, but Dr. Sebbahi on the other hand is lacking compassion and professionalism. The first few visits went well, then Dr. Sebbahi became impatient with how long the process was taking and started tightening the chain, that the oral surgeon placed, too tightly, resulting in my son experiencing above normal pain to the point that he could not eat for a couple of days. After telling Dr. Sebbahi how concerned I was over the pain and inability to eat due to how extreme this tightening has been for my son, she said, in a harsh tone "it's going to be painful." My son was not offered any words of encouragement or comfort to ease his anxiety. Dr. Sebbahi proceeded to tell the orthodontic assistant to crank it "the chain" all the way, resulting in the attachment that the oral surgeon placed - to break. Dr. Sebbahi tells us to wait eight weeks to see if the tooth comes down enough on its own so that she can reattach the chain to the metal hook on the tooth. Upon returning to Dr. Sebbahi's office the story has change and magically there is now no metal on the tooth and my son has to have oral surgery for the third time. I schedule the oral surgery and immediately call Dr. Sebbahi's office to let them know the surgery date so they can schedule the re-attachment appointment. They make the appointment one week after surgery. On the day of surgery, the oral surgeon recommends that the appointment with Dr. Sebbahi should be sooner than a week out because the gums may regress, making it harder for Dr. Sebbahi to place an attachment. I call Dr. Sebbahi office, the receptionist consults with Dr. Sebbahi and makes an appointment immediately following the surgery. Upon arriving at Dr. Sebbahi office they can't place the attachment because the bonding agent they use has to be in a dry area and she doesn't want to be blowing air so close to his nose. Mind you, the placement of the tooth hasn't changed nor the type of bonding agent needed when she said she would place the attachment herself. Dr. Sebbahi then proceeds to tell me that the oral surgeon should've placed an attachment, when she herself said that she only wanted the surgeon to laser the gums to expose the tooth more and that she herself would place the attachment. She then tells me I can reschedule the appointment for next week and she MIGHT be able to do it then. Never mind that the oral surgeon said that the gums would start to regress and there may not be enough of the tooth exposed by that point to place an attachment. Now I'm probably looking at my son needing another surgery due to Dr. Sebbahi's inability to properly review and communicate. I was offered a full refund by Dr. Sebbahi and to move my son's treatments to another orthodontic office. After two months of calling the office to see where my refund was, I was told I would have to come in and sign paperwork for it to be issued. This paperwork included a ridiculous nondisclosure agreement and was accompanied only by an offer of a PARTAIL refund. Dr. Sebbahi saw my son a handful of times in less than a year, only put seven brackets on his top teeth, and received over $4000 in payment. It's been over three months since we left Dr. Sebbahi and as of yet haven't received any money back. Meanwhile she was nearly paid in full for a 4 year plan. I know this review is long but I still didn't include all of the issues I've had with Dr. Sebbahi. If you are looking for someone to place routine braces, you're probably okay, but I highly recommend choosing another doctor, especially if you have any extenuating circumstances or expect someone who knows how to treat people with compassion. read more

I absolutely love this office! The customer service is great and Dr. Sebbahi is wonderful! They offer so much to their patients which included a free movie and a day at the water park! The experience with Dr. Sebbahi and her staff has been outstanding. They are very personable and respectful. Dr. Sebbahi deeply cares for her patients and wants them to feel comfortable. One of the best things I like about Dr. Sebbahi is the time she takes to explain things throughout the whole treatment.
