Called and asked if they could have someone check my fuses because my horn, brake lights, and front headlight all went out around the same time. I attempted to replace my own headlight 3 times it wasn't coming on, So I assumed it was electrical. I drive a 2013 Hyundai sonata. Charged me $160 diagnostic and $232 to replace light bulbs. $392 for LIGHT BULBS!!!!! Never checked my fuses, because I didnt request it when I got there. (The gas lighting is crazy) For my horn, didn't even check the relay or fuses (my car was stolen 3 years ago so the piece to cover my steering wheel column isn't covering my ignition). They must've thought my car was stolen recently so they didnt bother to check my fuses or horn relay and overcharge me for something else. Complete rip off. Of course I had them take out the very expensive lights and took it to a different shop where I can talk directly to a mechanic. Waste of money! Taking advantage of woman drivers. Running a business unethical. You should be ashamed of yourselves. read more

I brought my truck in for some sort of transmission issue, although PA wasn't able to remedy the whole issue they saved me some money. They also helped me with my power steering pump that burnt out. This place seems to look nice and professional but it's just smoke and mirrors don't Fall for it. I called in to see if they had time to look at my van cuz my AC is not working and it's about 100 degrees outside. They take hours and call me back saying that they or not able to fix the problem and had to go deeper into exchanging the whole AC system something that would cost me almost $2000. From the minute, I called this place. I had a bad feeling about it and I was right when I get back to get my keys my keys were broken and I had not given them my keys broken. And then the screwtop that goes to the AC unit was gone. I think they were just trying to get more money out of me and ended up charging me 6995 for doing nothing and breaking and losing parts of my car as well as the AC now and super hot. Not sure what they ended up doing. I don't recommend this place and a matter of fact I am going to be reporting this place to the LLC it's non ethical practice is torture for paying customers. read more

What a RIP OFF! I called for some help to change a CABIN AIR FILTER. Roberto quoted me $117 ... have yall lost your marbles? That is extremely disgusting. Then he switched me over to a female manager who said they go off of a liability and their hourly rate is $180 an hour. I understand the $180 an hour for labor, but I have the filter myself and just needed help taking off the plastic which they'd be able to pop off like a soda pop can... I can't even. They do great work don't get me wrong but today I'm realizing they led me astray. I came in asking for all brake pads and rotors replaced. They informed me because, the brake pads in front were good I only needed rear brakes and rotors resurfaced. My car still shakes and is hard to stop so I called them and now they're telling me they didn't inspect the front rotors because the front brake pads were still good but apparently it's my front rotors that are the issue, now I have trust issues and am back to working on my car myself thanks! Please don't send people on the road unable to brake just trying to save them money and get rid of noise. They were very fast an efficient. My car uses senthetic oil do it was $84. They did not upsell me on other things. Let me know what would be recommended in the future do I could be ready. Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles all things on wheels need maintenance at some point. Yea....the spending of unexpected cash could frustrate even the calmist of calm people and "I'm" no exceptions to the rule. Everybody plays the fool sometimes and my experience with "Pittsburg Automotive" I didn't feel like I was getting played, in fact I got more than I asked for and as for the future....my buddy "Bleu" (aka my car) is fine. Allow me to tell you why.. "Pittsburg Automotive" City - Pittsburg Car Worked On - 2001 Honda Civic Price - $128 Review: Upon doing a bit of research, I found out that this establishment use to be called "HondaPro" and was attached to a Valero gas station off Line Tree Way in Antioch. Business started really taking off and now they've set up shop in Pittsburg. They work on Imports and Domestics and as far as Honda's goes.....they're all Honda Certified here :D a big win for "Bleu" and I as the brake light sensor trigger broke on my car and my taillights were staying on and after researching, I found this a common problem in older "JDM" vehicles. So after seeing their advertisement in or around Pittsburg. I took to "Yelp" and read what the "Yelpire" had to say, and then I drove around the corner (literally) and stopped in and spoke with Jessica and told her my issue and then from there she walked me through the process. Jessica went to the workshop area and spoke with one of the mechanics and then afterwards a gentleman came out and pretty much right away knew what was going on. Afterwards we went back to Jessica and from there I was quoted. As part of their service and for future maintenance, they require all vehicles brought to their shop to undergo a diagnostic check. I had no problem with that because it was coming up on the time for one anyway. I then left my key with them and they took car of the issue. Break light now off and now having to come back for other things....which I knew was coming, they charged me the initial diagnostic, and pretty much fixed my sensor switch as part of the diagnostic check which was $128. Oh and they even fixed the latch on my hood that sometimes doesn't want to close my hood all the way. This business also has a 10% service via "Yelp" as a thank you for patronage. In Closing: Thank You Jessica, for such a kind demeanor even in my obvious frustration. Thank You to the mechanics that worked on "Bleu" and will in the future be working on my car. Very prompt service and the communication with them in top notch. I will be sure to have "Pittsburg Automotive" be the ones wrenching on my car from now on....unless I know the problem and how to fix it myself :D read more

This shop is amazing. I have used them in the past and they have replaced an entire engine in my 2000 accord, hassle free while explaining every process and reasoning for each thing. They always provide you with genuine recommendations to help with your car's longevity and ensure it's proper functionality. So I went by Pittsburgh Automotive today, and unfortunately I had a tail light that has gone out that I could not remove the bolts from. Walked into the office and the manager was behind the desk and he immediately came to help me and once I told him that I couldn't leave the truck because my son was with me and I had to pick up my daughter from school he immediately got to work and helped me get my tail light working. He was so kind and he took care of it so quick and I was able to go and do all the things I needed to do to take care of my family and my children. For this kind of job you need to trust your shop because you can not see the work being done. From the beginning we always got excellent service starting with the moment they answered the phone. Brought my 2005 Nissan Maxima here to see if I could get it running again. I will admit the service here is pretty damn good compared to other places. The did extensive diagnostics to try to figure what was wrong. In the end the engine had catastrophic damage and it wants worth trying to fix it. They kept me informed as to what was going on, (I didn't have to chase them to get answers). They gave me options as what would be the next process. The poor Santa Fe needs some lovin' though I didn't realize just how much. I called Pittsburg Automotive last week and spoke with a lovely Miss Nancy. We arrange for me to bring the car in for a really good once over and give me a list of repairs. I needed someone to put the car on the lift and check it over like you were getting a JCI. (That's only funny to people who've live in Japan). I needed a complete going over. The Santa Fe is a 2007 and we need it to last another 7 years. I pulled in there this morning and checked in with Miss Nancy. She gave the keys to one of the guys and off he went for a test drive. They went over it with a fine tooth comb because 2 hours later we were ready to talk about what needed to be done. Miss Nancy helped me to break it done to critical repair work and pieces which could wait. We shoved all we could into a total of $1265.00. That's back breaks, two new tires, an alignment, radiator hoses to stop a coolant leak, oil change, air filter, break system flush and new battery. I'll still need to get the oil leak fixed but that is $500.00 and the shocks and struts for another grand. I did notice the mechanics were working with latex gloves and seemed to know what they re doing. Nancy even took me on a walk around when we went over the damage list. So far I feel the price is fair and have been treated well. Tomorrow will be a long day as I will have to wait for the car to be completed. I will update once tomorrow is done. read more

Came here to get my car serviced after Espinoza auto care was late to open (my time is precious). The place is clean and looks professional. You'd feel like your in a place that will take care of any and all of your car's problems. Generally feel like they are honest. As a result, you'll pay a premium price for this peace of mind. 1 star less because one of the customer service people made me feel like an issue they introduced was somehow my fault: my hand break was not lifting up all the way anymore after they changed the breaks and did whatever else they were doing. The CS lady was trying to convince me that changing the breaks have nothing to do with the handbreak. Maybe she's right, but at the end of the day, my hand break was NOT like that when I came in, so someone did something... just own up to it and don't try to pin it on me. Note: they did correct it, but I didn't appreciate the lip service and being blamed for something I didn't do. They also changed the breaks and there was a sound. They kept the car longer to change them again and used my "Warranty" to do that. wtf... I haven't even rolled out of the shop or even taken back my keys and I'm using up my warranty? Again.. the words used didn't make me feel happy. Nitty-picky? yes. But again, I'm paying a premium, right? Overall, they did a fine job with the actual repair job all things considered.
