My brother installed 3 of 4 spark plugs and coil packs on my car. On the last one, the rubber boot from the oil coil pack was stuck and broke inside channel. After an hour or so, he gave up and said he would have to break the ceramic on the plug. I did not want that so I remembered Hung from Bay Point Auto was really good at troubleshooting. I searched to get his hours and Mapquest came up as permanently closed but this is not the case. I brought the car over the next morning and saw a few cars and the garage door open. Hung greeted me and I explained the situation. He asked me to leave the car and I proceeded to take the TryMyRide home. In less than 90 minutes, Hung called back and said my car was done. I also called a Midas and they had quoted me $289 BEFORE parts. Both places charged a $25 inspection fee before all else. The man at this auto shop inspected my car for free, it literally took him 5 minutes. He quoted me $210. Considering all his amazing reviews online and the closeness to where I'm staying. I decided to trust him with my car. I ended up agreeing to an oil change as well since I had saved $300 for the repair. He did an amazing job, he was finished in 2 hours, called me to let me know what was going on, showed me the old brakes, and was polite as hell. I 100% recommend this place. This shop is Bay Point's best-hidden secret. I first took my 93 Ford Ranger to Shore Acres Auto Shop after I was chasing an electrical ghost for 4 months. Hong the technician found multiple problems within an hours time. You can purchase your own parts and be charged for labor, or you can buy from the shop and have them installed plus labor. Most shops will not work on a Mercedes because they have special fittings and certain procedures to follow before removing parts because all major parts with electrical wires must be approved by the vehicles computer to operate properly. Hong is not afraid of Mercedes Benz, he will do the research first before touching your car if it's something he hasn't worked on before. So had work done on my 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLS550 and he did it in a one-time removal of old parts and new installations. He works very fast and is very professional. Everything worked without any computer errors and I was very happy. I don't trust anybody to work on my Benz other than the dealer but this shop has really impressed me. I have a degree in engines and Hong has proved to me that he has what it takes to get the job done right and the first time around. Thank you, Hong.
