I really appreciate the service they provide. I've patronized them over the years and have never been disappointed. The arrangements are always reasonably priced. They'll work w/your budget & even custom design an arrangement. The staff's always been helpful & courteous. My lady treated me to a wonderful birthday weekend so I thought I'd say thanks w/some flowers. Purple is her favorite color & they had the perfect arrangement. They now offer 30 second video messages! The personal note is still available but a video message is even better. I happened to stumble across them last minute and I'm so glad I did! Once I walked in with my baby, the wonderful ladies there all greeted me. These days, lots of people don't even do that. One young woman helped me with my questions and was so kind. I told them what my budget was and they made me a beautiful bouquet for my friend. They also had chocolate covered strawberries which I ended up buying and I got a Mother's Day ballon as well. So impressed by their professionalism and quality of the flowers. Vanessa was amazing! She was very patient with me as I was a first-timer trying to organize a memorial service for my baby brother and I wanted it to be PERFECT!. She proved her art work to me with her past arrangements to make me feel comfortable. She listened with compassion and understood what my expectations were. I received such beautiful flowers on 5/8/21 for Mother's Day. They were brought inside right away. By Monday they were starting to look droopy. I have changed the water twice to help preserve them. Today is Wednesday and the bouquet is a mess. So disappointing that the flowers did not last a week. No special instructions came with the flowers or any preservatives to add to the water. Sad that someone spent a lot of money to gift these to me and this happened so fast. read more

Stopped by a little after 3:30pm, the woman, (I found out her name was Vanessa) was assisting another client but acknowledged me right away. I waited and looked around the shop for about 5 minutes. I noticed that the shelves were empty and was worried it was order ahead only. I had never been here before and asked if they have arrangements available, she shared with me that they try to make enough to keep the shelves stocked but they're bought as soon as they get out. I asked for a tulip arrangement, they didn't have any but I went with a flower she suggested. We started at the base $20 for a vaseless arrangement and I went for the $30 overall price to add a few more flowers for my mom. Complimentary card and holding stick included and my mom was delighted. Great service, great value. Will definitely be coming back to support this long-standing local business. Definitely call or stop by ahead of time during rushes like Valentine's day and do forth. read more

Around 4pm today, I received a call from Pittsburg Florist informing me that their delivery driver decided to leave early and that they would deliver the flowers tomorrow. Even after I explained that today was my anniversary, not tomorrow, they could do nothing for me. The order has you select what type of event you're sending flowers for. I chose anniversary. Still they had the audacity to suggest day after delivery. Absolutely worst florist customer service I've ever experienced. No thoughtfulness. No willingness to go the extra mile. These guys have been really good over the years but the delivery today of my Valentine's Day tulips were awful. They look like they've been out in the sun for days. And when my husband complained they tried to tell him that's just the way tulips are. Um I don't think so. They're coming to take them back and hopefully he'll get his refund. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I had originally ordered flowers for a friend who had a death in the family from 1-800-flowers... well they were never delivered even though I paid extra for same day delivery. I forgot I could just call my local florist! Because it was last min on New Year's Eve the women on the phone (I miss her name) told us to pick something from the website and she could make it before she left for deliveries. We found one online and she would make it as close as possible with what they had. (If you order online it will send the next available day but she was nice enough for deliver it same day). My recipient received her flowers in a speedy time frame! I am so grateful she made our bouquet before she left and was so accommodating. I can't thank you enough! Now if I need to send flowers locally (or for myself :) ) I would I'll go to Pittsburg florist without a doubt because I know my flowers will actually get delivered.
