Since these are craft cocktails, it takes a while for the bartenders to make the cocktails, but it's worthwhile. They have fun glassware for certain drinks - I was shocked when my drink was served aflame! It was called The Rabbit and was very tasty. A bit pricy per drink but a great place to stop for a few drinks with friends! I asked a question about an item on the desert menu since it wasn't listed and he responded with "what I mentioned earlier....." and paused as if I was going to magically remember what flavors he had said until he eventually repeated the options to me. My husband caught his tone and immediately was upset after this. Also a fruit fly had flown into my friends drink which is not only gross but not our fault and when asking if he could have at least that dumped out and the same amount poured into it since it was on ice he said well that's basically water now and then said but okay sure whatever and walked away. As someone who has worked in the customer service industry I would have been absolutely mortified to speak to people this way and then to return to the table and show my face again. It was very disappointing. We wanted to speak to a manager but also wanted to get out as fast as we could as well. However we did keep the receipt to make sure we had his name. We found the five course tasting menu to be interesting, but neither my wife nor I found the food to be delicious or memorable. Quality ingredients were top notch and the preparation and plating excellent, but we just didn't care for the flavors or combinations that came out. We expect when we get a tasting menu to have a few dishes that might miss the mark for us -- that's sort of the point. You're exploring the chef's ideas and dishes. It's strange when none of the dishes really hit with our palates and we travel all over the world in search of amazing food and dining experiences. To make matters somewhat worse, we did the wine pairing and oftentimes with the courses we found the wine did not pair incredibly well with the plates. Further, when the wine was served we never saw a bottle once and were never told about the winery, the vintage, etc. -- only the type of wine it was and what flavors we could expect. We've never had that before with a wine pairing. We encourage the chef to continue to explore his palate, creativity, and imagination and we look forward to the possibility of coming back again some time in the future to see how this chef and menu may have evolved.
