    Hot Chicken Sandwich
    Spencer S.

Been following these guys on social media for a few weeks now and find myself drooling over mouth-watering pics. We've been out of town for the last couple weeks so on our first Friday back I was sure to stop off for a couple meals. Ordering is easy to do at the counter but even easy through the website. Be sure to look for the link on their Instagram. Our sandwiches and fries were between 10-11 dollars and we were able to leave a tip and set a pickup time all online. Food was ready within moments of our pickup window and due to inclement weather we were forced to drive home before partaking. My wife did the cheeseburger and I did the hot chicken this time around. There are two other options we'd like to try (pulled pork and grilled chicken) but this was a great intro. The chicken breast and burger patties were large, the toppings of the burger plentiful, and the fries were just enough without going overboard. I didn't love the fries but I chalk it up to them having sat and gone a little cold before we made it home to consume. Good all around and I'm excited to go back soon to try more of the menu.

Really enjoy the food from PSSociety. This time I had the In-N-Aht burger that has two juicy & tasty all beef patties, pickle, spring mix, onion jam and a tasty sauce with a side of hand cut fries. A reall tasty burger and hot fresh fries. A great choice for lunch.

I've been wanting to try this food truck for awhile now and finally had the opportunity at Dancing Gnome. You guys...the sandwiches are out of this world delicious. No joke! The anticipation is built up was not a letdown at all. My boyfriend had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and I had the Patty Melt. The Melt comes on rye which I hate. Thy generously offered to use a brioche roll instead. Wow, wow, wow!!! That thing melted in my mouth from first bite to last. I was so stuffed but I was also close to ordering another one. The food is that good!! Good to the point I was willing to make myself sick to have another one. Don't worry, I refrained. If you love food trucks, this one is the cream of the crop. Go now and find out where they are and eat a sandwich or heck eat two! Five stars all the way!!!

Every sandwich I've eaten from this truck has been super tasty, thoughtfully crafted, and clearly made by an owner who loves his job. One of my top 3 favorite food trucks in Pittsburgh. Ps. If you go and they happen to have the fried chicken on a fresh glazed donut, you have to give it a try. I was skeptical, but it's absolutely killer.

Loveeeddd the truck and it wasn't just because I was starving! There were 3 choices: burger, chicken club or veggie burger. I got the chicken club no bacon. Amazing is an understatement. It had a nice kick to it and the chicken was so tender. I also ordered the fries which were tasty and very thin. Next time I will try the veggie burger bc the carmelized onions caught my eye.

Can't wait to try it out!

This fun thing has been happening where food trucks are visiting my office building lately. I don't have much experience when it comes to food truck cuisine, and so far I'm loving it! The Pittsburgh Sandwich Society truck stopped today and after much back and forth between picking the veggie burger or the grilled chicken club sandwich, I chose the latter. There was an excellent, spicy guac topping a juicy piece of grilled chicken and bacon. The real kicker was the potato chips hidden in the bottom of the sandwich for some added crunch. It was a little pricey for just the sandwich, but such is life.

It was time for a new taste adventure, so down to Inner Groove Brewery, my boyfriend and I went. There was the Pittsburgh Sandwich Society ready to give us yummy sandwiches. We waited a short time for the sandwiches in the cold, but they were so worth it. My boyfriend and I each had half of each other's sandwiches because we wanted to taste both. They were AMAZING! Hands down the best sandwich I've had in Pittsburgh. I could eat them every day! We got a side of fries and they were good food truck fries. I so want to give this food truck a 5 star. What's holding me back is the pricing. It was $9 for a burger and around the same price for a spicy chicken sandwich both of which did not come with fries :( A side of fries is $3 extra. I wish the sandwiches came with fries (since it's not a huge portion for $3) or you had the option to add fries to your sandwich for $1.50. We both agreed this food truck is a must try and we will be going back again. But, we wish the price came with fries!

This was worth being a tad late from my lunch. I was worried this grilled chicken sandwich would lack texture because I opted out on the bacon as I don't eat pork. They one upped it with chips! It made me feel like a bit of a kid every time I bit into it. I rejoiced at not having to use the ketchup I put on the side because this sandwich is packed with flavor that makes it well worth the nine dollars they asked for. Did I inhale it pretty quickly at my desk? Yes! The other surprise was for someone who doesn't like avocados they made me a believer today. They have a spicy avocado Mayo and my oh my. I guess if you're gonna put sandwich in the name you gotta be golden at it. The service was pretty great as they moved quickly to have such a line.

Gave them another shot after our batch of 3 raw chicken sandwiches. The veggie burger itself was really good. But I had to remove the multiple nests of rotting spring mix...you know the kind you throw in the garbage when your lettuce is out of date. No, I don't like eating that. You only have 4 items on the menu, I would expect a better handle on quality. Most likely will not return.

This is hands down my favorite Pittsburgh food truck. The only one that I will find where it is, and go there to grab food. I've never had a bad meal, however I've only ever gotten the hot chicken sandwich and the in-n-aht burger. Burgers are usually really mediocre to me, but this one knows what they are doing.

Hands down the BEST veggie burger I've tasted in Pittsburgh!! Nothing beats a homemade sandwich

I would love to see them offer more sushi burrito options (currently only 3 on the menu) or a build your own style option. The sushi rolls are simple, but yummy. This is a good spot if you're craving simple, fast casual seafood, with quality ingredients. The staff have been so kind too!

This food truck was a light blue color with two workers and served cinnamon rolls, pretzels and hot chocolate. My wife and I ended up ordering a pretzel with cheese and then a cinnamon bun for ourselves as well as another one which I ended up giving my mom for Mother's Day. The pretzel itself was $8 but it was one of those massive ones that you see at stadiums and came with a small side of cheese sauce. It ended up being nicely cooked and the outside of it had good texture while the inside was nice and soft. The outside of it did not have too much salt and both my wife and I enjoyed dipping it into the cheese sauce. Our cinnamon bun was similarly good as we enjoyed the pecan topping as well and the frosting and cinnamon flavor to it. The bun itself had a nice and soft consistency to it which made eating it quite nice. My mom also said she enjoyed the cinnamon bun which was nice to hear! The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Clearly this food truck isn't going to provide you with a full meal, but it certainly does have some fun stuff to snack on.

We ordered our appetizers, and the employee told us that ribs would not be available to order for another half hour, so we waited for them. Our loaded nachos and loaded fries were topped with similar ingredients of shredded meat, jalapeno peppers, gooey cheese, and a sauce. The ingredients were fresh, and we enjoyed the flavors.
