Our bartender had to be flagged down every time we wanted a refill and she practically threw our paper plates at us . The quintessential neighborhood bar. This review is regarding their takeout though. The food was great. Burger was flavorful and juicy. Kids loved the pizza (bigger than it looks in the picture). The fish fry was good too. Food was ready within 30 minutes. Fried food was still crispy by the time we got home. Tons of fries. The prices are great, especially compared to the more upscale bar options in the area. The outside area is great to hang out. It's right in the heart of the village and fenced in so it's a perfect people watching spot. Great for a few drinks and food. read more

The locals tell me that this is a "townie" bar. It's nothing flashy here (in fact, quite the opposite), but I still think it was a decent place. Food was decent. I got the patty melt which was a little on the dry side, but still tasty. Onion rings, waffle fries, and buffalo wings were delicious, especially next to 4 pitchers of beer. No server ever came by, so we figured out we had to order at the bar. After 40 minutes or so, the food auto-magically is available. I'm convinced that on weeknights, the staff size might be two people - one at the bar, and one in the kitchen. Anyways, wouldn't hesitate to revisit. read more

We had a HORRIBLE experience we had here yesterday. Four of us decided to give this place a try since Barry's Irish Pub was closed on Tuesdays. I should have been suspicious right at the entry door. It was falling apart, needed paint, etc. But we went in and found a table anyway. There were maybe 7-8 people in there, mostly guys at the bar. The floor was very dirty and their large-screen TV looked like it was being held together with DUCT TAPE! It took quite a while to get the server's attention. while waiting for her, I visited the men's room. In a word... DISGUSTING! Toilet and sink were dirty. Carpet was filthy and ripped. Baseboard heating units were rusted and falling apart. Couldn't wait to get out of there. We had a discussion as to whether to leave or stay and eat. We decided to stay. Big mistake. I ordered the "meatball skewer." My friend ordered a "burrito wrap." Another ordered a pulled pork sandwich. We waited almost 45-minutes for the food to arrive! No excuse for that. Waitress never came over and apologized. Finally, SOME of our food arrived. The meatballs were terrible. Cold, overcooked, and dry. (Chili sauce was good, though.) I told the waitress how cold they were. She said "I'll get you another order." I said "No thanks." (Didn't want to wait another 45-minutes.) I only ate two of the four meatballs. (I was really hungry, but couldn't eat another cold meatball.) My friend's burrito was supposed to have sour cream and jalapeños in it. It had NEITHER! My friend's pulled pork sandwich finally arrived just as the other 3 of us were finishing. We'll never go back again. read more

Been coming to the coach for years. The Wings are some of the best in the Roc. We've spent all football season here watching my team. Used to come years ago but spent about 15 years paying to watch from home. Got rid of satellite and returned this year. Got the philly cheese steak and it's amazing. The steak is thin sliced and there's a thin layer of A1 on the bread. The bread itself is fresh, crisp and airy inside and the onions and peppers are fresh in the sandwich. It's downright filling being bigger than a typical Philly steak sandwich and paired with onion petals it's one of the best meals you can get at a bar that is unassuming but has several great options to eat while watching the game. Chill spot to go and watch football on a Monday night with dwindling options. Food is solid. Drinks are liquid and include alcohol content needed to get through another day on this ever less green earth. Of all the Webster sports bars it's above them because it's convenient, not always super busy, and plenty of TVs (with a big old one in the middle for MNF) and even a dart board if you're in the mood for that. Recommend the loaded fries if you're a wing snob. read more

This is a laid-back bar with TVs in several places showing a multitude of sport events. The interior is dated or rustic; depending on who you ask. Though the decor is lacking, the food and deals are not. Best day to visit is Tuesday evenings. Don't recall the cost per wing (I think it was $0.50/wing) but this great deal for bone-in chicken wings. One flavor is ordered 10 at a time. The dry bbq is my favorite. I suggest getting the wings extra crispy too. read more

I thought that I was going to like this place. We were willing to overlook the "atmosphere." Sat down at a table. Security came overs and asked for ID from a bunch of fifty-year-olds. We waited a while until the bartender said we would all need to come to the bar and order and that New York State law required that we had to order food. There were a bunch of customers in there drinking and I did not see anyone with food. They acted like it would be best if we just left so we did. These guys are jerks. I will never go back to this dirty dump. read more

Absolutely terrible experience here. My other half and I just moved here from the south and thought a sports bar sounded perfect... Plus, its close to home. We sat there for almost 10 minutes and neither of the bartenders bothered to even say hello. We were sitting at the bar and they were right in front of us several times. At first we assumed they were busy getting drinks and orders of those who were there ahead of us (but proper etiquette would be to say hello and that they would be right with us), so we patiently waited. It wasn't until we realized they had served everyone and they were just chatting. The male bartender was 2 feet away from us, but too busy flirting with the 2 girls sitting there to even bother with us. We finally flagged down his attention when he was refilling a drink and ordered our drinks. He never checked on us again. He barely spoke to us. They were so rude and just terrible servers. We left as soon as we (hurriedly) finished our drinks and went elsewhere. We will never come back to this place. Apparently, unless you're a regular, your business doesn't matter to them. Too bad, because we would have frequented this place. I wish I could give it less than 1 star. read more

My mom and I love coming here on weeknights just to hang out and have "the green thing" drink (highly recommended)!On Mondays a large pizza is only $6 and the white garlic one is amazing! Definitely our favorite. Tuesday's are $0.40 wing night and they are phenomenal, super crispy and piping hot. My grievances are as follows: I have been here on some nights where they have live music and are charging at the door and it's not really a place where live music is feasible...you can't see the band from anywhere in there and it will take you about an hour to get a drink because it's so crowded. Sometimes on those nights when it is very crowded the bartenders seem to get overwhelmed and get less patient as the night goes on...One night I sat at the bar waving a $20 bill for over an hour and I watched the bartender serve a bunch of people who had just come in even though I was there first. read more

I'm taking a quote from my 7 year old daughter (who was not with us btw) - it smells like fart. Like seriously. Walked in & that was the 1st thing I said to hubby. Fortunately we were killing time & only stayed for 1 drink. Bartender was good - a like a bartender who all you need is a slight nod & they come over. They have lots of TVs, so that's a plus too. I love The Coach. It's a great local watering hole. I have been going there most Tuesday's in the summer after softball games. I love their wings-they are a little more well done than other places, which I like. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Coach chips are great too. Sue is an awesome waitress-she brings me my usual as soon as I sit down. There is also a nice outside seating area in the front and back that's great in warm weather. read more

The Coach is a premier bar and restaurant. It has a great beer selection, daily drink specials, and really great food. The food menu is incredible and the wing special on Tuesday night is great. They have live music on Sat evenings in the fall and winter months, and during football season the place is a buzz. I would highly recommend trying it! read more

The Coach is an average local bar with a number of TV's for sports viewing. They have a new large screen TV at one end that splits into 4 screens to maximize days when there are a number of games, yet give you a giant screen for the really big games. It's not sparkling clean and the men's room has the tiniest toilet space I've ever seen. The staff is friendly and attentive, at least at the bar. I think if you're at a table, you might be better off going to the bar to order. Food is decent, the wings are particularly good...not real large but very tasty and crisp. I've been coming here for several weeks to watch NFL and it's a decent spot to do that. read more
