PSA: Since the social media manager replied back stating management will be reaching out. I will say no one has, I tried calling the GM myself 7 days ago with no answer. Unless he is the one going to be calling, I don't want a call. My car was fixed by Pohanka Honda for $1,064.89, $672.50 of that because of this place. My front hubs, wheel bearings, outer tie rod on the passenger front and an alignment all needed replaced/done. The final total between trusting and paying Pittsville Ford $708.12 plus the $672.50 in damages, they costed me $1,445.62 (with the tow truck). Brought my car in for a diagnostic check, brakes and a few other odd noises. They changed my battery and valve cover gasket. I told them not to touch the brakes as I do them myself, I knew they were very low and deemed unsafe and intended to do the brakes the same day. Less than 4 hours after getting my car back, I took it home and immediately started on the brake change. They cross threaded bolts on both front tires, 3 of 4 on the passenger side and one on the drivers side has already snapped. I've been leaving voicemails and calling all morning, so has my husband. A service member got an attitude with him stating they only took the passenger side off. There is absolutely no way in hell they only touched the passenger side, but of course that's the story they are sticking to. Regardless, I'm getting no movement from them on fixing the tire they are claiming they touched. Now the general manager Steven will not answer my calls. I paid $700 to have you guys FIX my car, not fix one problem and damage something else. My car now needs MORE work and you people are taking none of the responsibility. Now I'm afraid the valve cover gasket was not replaced correctly, so now I'm stuck debating on if I want to spend more money at another mechanic/dealer on an inspection fee to ensure the gasket was done correctly. I was told by Heather to call if they did not earn 5 stars. Well you didn't but you're not returning any of my calls, so here's all your 1 star reviews. Update: Heather did call and offer to pull footage, at that point I had already called Pohanka Honda to have them hold stud bolts and I'm doing to repairs myself. She offered to have them look at the front passenger which I declined as I was going to just fix everything. I appreciate the call back but I'm still not happy. They are sticking to their story of only touching the front and back passenger. Update #2: I attached a picture for proof of the tire they claim they did touch (passenger front) with two of four snapped bolts due to cross threading. Update #3: Update now is because of the way the hub is rusted to the car we cannot get it off and there's metal blocking the bolts so we can't get them out. I paid $65 for a tow truck to come get the car. I paid $350 in parts to give to Pohanka Honda to replace my front wheel hubs with bearings, my front pads and rotors, a brake fluid flush and an alignment which is an estimate of $912 in labor plus the parts I'm looking at a completely unnecessary replacement thanks to Pittsville Ford of $775 in parts and labor for what they did damage, total with everything else is $1,262. Even the tow truck driver said they should be paying!! I would take it back to them but I'm surely not giving them more money to fix my drivers side that they "didn't touch" and fix the passenger side free of charge. I will let Pohanka Honda handle it. read more

Polite and accommodating. Got the job done. Went in for an oil change thinking it was 30 minutes. They were running late and I demanded up needing break pads. So total wait time 3 hours. I do have an extended service plan with this dealership and when checking out they didn't factor that in until I reminded them. So beware of the final invoice if you too have signed up for this plan. read more

Initially was in communication with Pittsville Ford and it seemed they were interested in accommodating me. Now no one, not even the President of Preston, will return my calls. My car stereo was making a loud crackling sound and some days, the radio would play, and some days it wouldn't. Finally, after a few weeks, it wouldn't play at all, so I had no stereo, no CD player, no clock and no Bluetooth because it is all connected. So Pittsville had me take a diagnostic test to see if I needed a new stereo, although I was sure I did. They took the test and I did need the whole system. Although, I wasn't happy to have to pay for the test, they were prompt at ordering the stereo, and they put it in right away. I also got a two year warranty. The stereo system plays very nicely, and I am very pleased with their service!! read more

Purchased a used car from Pittsville Ford for my daughter in December 2015. Very happy with the sales process and had an enjoyable experience. So much so that we continued to have the vehicle serviced regularly at the dealer. Incurred problems with last two visits. In August, my routine oill change required a return visit to fix a loose tire. In January 2020, made an appointment for a routine oil change and tire rotatation. This service is now being performed by Quick Lane, a subsidiary of Pittsville Ford & operating out of the old dealership location. My routine oil change took 4 hours, required immeadiate returning twice to service center due to problems with tire virbration and inflation warnings. A third return took me to the new Pittsville Ford dealership.where the previous service from Quick Lane needed to be re-checked and/or re-done. As a result, I have lost confidence specifically in Quick Lane and Pittsville Ford in general. I can't recommend them as I simply cannot trust them to do what they say they will do and for the service I've paid them to do. Its not my intention to be negative but I feel that Pittsville Ford had an ideal opportunity for service recovery sadly that never occured. Do not use Quick Lane for serviceing your car and do not expect Pittsville dealership to resolve your issues. read more

Brought my car in for service, warranty repairs and a state inspection. The service was done satisfactorily. The warranty repair required a part to be ordered. I was told the part would be in the following Monday or Tuesday. The state inspection was done. Now comes the not so good. I was charged twice the going rate in the area for the inspection. Having recently moved to Maryland I was used to the price for state inspections being set by the state, so I did not originally question the price. Since I needed a second car inspected and could not leave both cars I then called other places where I found out that Pittsville Ford's prices were way out of line. When I questioned them they stated that they didn't like to do inspections so they charged high prices. They would not adjust their price to a reasonable level. I was told by the dealer that they would call me when the part came in. Since it was promised Monday or Tuesday I called later in the afternoon on Tuesday to find that the part was already in. I don't know when I would have heard from them if I hadn't followed up. Does this disqualify them as a service provider? I don't know, but I feel I was significantly overcharged and service did not live up to expectations. I would urge caution before selecting them for service. read more

I believe their service must have improved dramatically once their ownership changed a few years ago because I have had great luck with them in the past couple years. I just bought new seat Carhart covers for my Ford and their price was very competitive. I had some work done under warranty and it was performed flawlessly, they did not try to sell me anything, and it was quick. I have dealt with several dealers in the area and Pittsville Ford seemed more reasonable on prices for service than most. read more

Truthfully, my involvement with this place is minimal. I've never purchased a car from them, nor have I even stepped inside their building. The reason for the bad review is because they have assigned my email address to one of their customers. This customer and I have the same last name yet are not related and do not even know each other. Every time this man's ford fusion needs service or he schedules something for it, emails land in my in box. In deed, the invitation to review on yelp came from an email meant for him! I've attempted to unsubscribe, I've emailed and called the dealership to resolve this, I even called Ford corporate - all without any success. I began having some serious issues with my current car. But, I was only 2 years in to my financing. I was considered "upside down". I had tried 3 other dealerships before seeing a post on Facebook about Pittsville Ford. I worked with Rose who went ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations. Given the virus scare, I really didn't think it would be possible to have my vehicle traded in. Not only did Rose work with Ryan in finance to get me approved, they were able to make my monthly payments almost identical to what they already were. AND got me in a brand new Ford Edge.
