Atlantic was once the best service for your Mercedes in their Bethany location. Now they gave up on the ~$1,200 service and only seem to do older American made cars (mostly oil changes). So much for handling customers problems here at the vacation spot. Disappointed with their lack of certified mechanics to solve customer service issues. (I can change my own oil.) I can't handle more difficult issues I pay the experts. Now I have to go 1-2 hours away to get help! I miss the old local service reps. I don't need an oil change. Disappointing attitude also. read more

Was told my master cylinder was bad in addition to my power brake booster. I knew it had a bad brake booster. I was told the master cylinder was leaking into the booster and all had to be replaced. I was curious, if my cylinder was leaking , why did I still have a cylinder full of fluid? It was going to cost me between 12 and 13 hundred dollars. I did see my vehicle was not moved from thesoptI had left it a week prior. I decided to replace the powerbrake booster myself. I found the master cylinder to be in perfect shape. All toll it cost me 82$ for the booster and 5hrs of my time. Atlantic use to be quite customer oreinted, not so anymore. I don't think my vehicle was even looked at before the mech.decided what was needed. Will be looking for a new repair shop. read more

My new Mercedes was left with two huge dents that were not there when I dropped the car off. I called numerous times, sent pictures and was continuously ignored. I wouldn't trust them with anything!!! def will NOT be going back next year for my maintenance. read more

They claim to do "emergency repairs", yet they couldn't check a wheel for safety within 2 days, then reneged on their agreement to help unless I agreed to possible major charges in advance at which time I had no choice except to take my vehicle back in a possibly unsafe condition. read more

A simple oil change was requested and that is what I got. Included was lube inspection and excellent service.

I wound up with a pretty large bolt in the tread of my run-flat tire. Most places I called said they would not work on a run flat and suggested I get a new tire. Atlantic said they'd try a patch, but if that didn't work, they'd have to order a tire. I brought the car in and later in the day they called me to say they had successfully patched the tire - and even though had to modify the patch because the bolt was so big, it was holding and they had checked it multiple times that day to make sure it would hold. Very happy with the the service and professionalism. read more

My husband dropped off our Lexus at Atlantic Auto repair a couple days ago, My husband asked the guy at the front desk if they would do a transmission fluid flush and he said yes, turns out that they only put 4 Qt's in, when it calls for 12 Qt's. when we call in today and asked the manger about them only putting in 4 Qt's, The owner said they do not even do the transmission flush. Also my husband told him that they left the windows down in our car sitting out in there parking lot, after they ware closed for the night, lucky we had an extra key so we could close them. He could at least apologize for their mistake but he said " oh ok " " and thank you for closing them up" We are really upset if I can give them a 0 star I would. Very disappointed. read more

Yesterday my fiancé and I where coming down from Massachusetts and we broke down. I e where blessed that we where towed to their shop. We had our dog with us and she was overheating from being on the highway waiting for a tow. They lt us being her into the office and even gave her a bowl of water. theg they where a blessing! We told them we where looking for a hotel and the owner made a phone call to help us get into a hotel. Don't know what we would have done with the them and their amazing staff. Called and asked if they could change oil on BMW. Answer was yes. After driving car 4 miles after oil change engine light came on. Drove back to garage and they connect to computer and it was a timing issue with engine. Do not drive it and it was just a coincidence that light came on after oil change. Took to BMW dealer and it cost me $121.00 to learn Atlantic put on different cap after changing oil. I have taken the BMW to other local garages in the past with no issues. Be warned they do not have knowledge to perform a oil change on the model. The dealer showed me both caps side by side and there is a obvious difference. Not happy and lesson learned. read more

Experiencing car trouble while on vacation is a nightmare! Not knowing where to go for reliable service without getting taken advantage of can add many grey hairs to your head! Lucky for us we were directed to Atlantic Auto Repair. They got us in quickly and we had our car back the same day we dropped it off. The mechanic went above and beyond and took time out of his lunch break to thoroughly explain the problem. He encouraged us to bring it back if we had any further problems and said he would take care of us to ensure we made it home on time. Even my husband was impressed! Awesome. Can't say enough good things. My wife was staying in Fenwick with some coworkers when she ran into issues with some fasteners popping lose on the plastic guards under the front of the car. Was scraping the ground when backing up, making a horrendous noise. She showed up with no appointment on a Tuesday morning just after opening. They fixed it in a jiffy and didn't want to charge for the time or parts. Don't find standup businesses like that anymore. read more

One of the worst car experiences ever. Took my Ranger in because it would not shift so they installed new master cylinders. Also told them the truck was pulling to the right and I needed an alignment. Picked the truck up and drove it home.....still pulling to the right and when I get home I noticed the gasket between the shifter cover and the floor board was laying on the floor. So I tried to lift the shifter cover up to see where it went and the entire shifter came off in my hands. Called Rob and he told me the same thing happened to him, whatever that means. So I told him he needs to come to my house, re-install it and make things right which is 2 miles away... and he says "so what do you want me to do drop what I'm doing and rush over there?" Yeah Rob I do!! It's called servicing your customer and making things right when you screw up. This attitude, unfortunately from the service manager, will trickle down to the mechanics and create an uncurable cancer within the shop. Good luck!! read more

Used this business a few times for minor work, oil change, etc. and had no problems. However, when I needed work done because of an electrical problem I ended up paying $600. plus and left the shop with more issues than when I gave them the car. There advice was to take it somewhere else. read more
