We like to support local independent businesses and Pitza Pizza is a good example of why. We've have tried both the original and the thin crusts with different toppings and they're all excellent. We hadn't heard of this place yet, so we gave it a try and for my money, this is the best pizza place in the Carrollwood/Northdale area, at least from what I've tried. Good flavor, generous amount of toppings, cooked nicely, and isn't limp like so many other places. You know that nothing good is limp! Also seems like a fair price for what you get. I tried the stuffed crust and it was pretty good albeit a little "hollow" in the crust, but I still liked it. I tried the hand tossed pepperoni mushroom today and it was spot on. I'm yet to try any of their side dishes. Good pizza seems really hard to come by, so I think I'll be coming here from now on until there's a reason not to, because so far so good. I'd give them a shot. Note: Website could use a little work, though. The online ordering system seems a little clunky so I'd just call in and order lol. read more

I love their chicken shawarma. I got some more this past week and ordered one chicken and one beef shawarma. I couldn't tell which one I enjoyed more. They also have a mean stuffed crust pizza! I love getting plain cheese pizza with extra red sauce. Tastes really good. Love exploring their middle eastern dishes every time I order. read more

Tired this place based on reviews, and we weren't disappointed! The pizza rolls were delicious! Great with the garlic sauce! The pizza was really good too but wasn't my favorite! Maybe I'll try and different crust, I had the original crust today. My husband really enjoyed it. But my favorite was the S'mores dessert! So fluffy and light but super filling! The burnt crisps go great with the marshmallow filling! I'm sure we will take out again from here. read more

It seems like there are more Pizza places in town now than ever before. Nearly every corner has one and the delivery apps are full of them. But try as I might I couldn't find a GOOD pizza place. Under cooked soggy pizza is now the norm it seems, so imagine my surprise when I tried Pitza Pizza and they delivered a perfectly executed pie that would have given Giuseppe's in Amber PA a run for their money. Pizza is easy to find, but really good pizza is just so difficult to come by these days. Easy 5 stars for an amazing gem of a restaurant. If you haven't done so, give Pitza Pizza a try, they "get it". Our new favorite place for a slice of great pizza. Pitza Pizza is a small mom and pop place that needs our support, and I for one am happy to give it to them. read more

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a large pineapple pizza and both came with breadsticks and marinara that were delicious. All came out to be under 25 bucks which is crazy talk. Cheap prices aside the food was really really good. I will definitely be ordering from here more often. read more

Pizza is really good, although unless you really like pizza sauce I would suggest ordering with light sauce, they always tend to be heavy on the sauce. Their specials are very good, and totally worth it. I've never had a bad experience here, always had a smiling face acknowledge me as soon as I walked in. Went into this place for my first time, with so many robotic pizzerias around,it's nice to see a small business pizzeria do their own thing, I was greeted by the owner, real genuine guy, ordered a hot philly sub, it was well seasoned and cooked just right, the potatoes wedges are baked and not fried that's a + for me, he also gave me a sample of his pizza, it was awesome, sauce wasn't to tangy or heavy on it. This pizza joint is unlike any other! I'm so thankful Yelp helped me discover this hidden gem. I searched Buffalo chicken pizza and they popped up on my search. The owner or manager I don't know was so personable. He asked if I had ordered there before, told me about the specials and even gave me a little discount because I tweaked a special. Lastly he asked that I call him back with my opinion on the pizza. Delivery was speedy and the lady was super friendly. By far the best pizza I've had in Tampa!! Been to this place three times. Between a 4 and 5 star for me. I may be different than most people. What I like: Fresh garlic - thin crust - tasty sauce - good amount of cheese. Not many chains do fresh garlic on their pizza. These guys will. If you have never had fresh garlic on a pizza, I suggest that you try it at least once. The bottom of the thin crust pizza is properly cooked and the sauce is tasty. They use a little more cheese than the chains - which is something I prefer. Worth a shot in my opinion. Genuinely wanted to love this place especially since it's nearby, but the pizza is terrible. Tastes exactly like Costco pizza but for less pizza and more money. Breadsticks were not great either. So for me there are two types of pizza. Real pizza from mom and pop shops and fake pizza from chains. I would choose this this pizza over any other chain restaurant pizza. Ordered thru Uber Eats. The pizza was FULL of meats in the best possible way. Would definitely order here again. Will try something else with fewer toppings as the meats sort of overpowered the sauce and cheese so I didn't really get to appreciate them properly. Let me start by saying the are a very friendly and prompt with the service. Absolutely loved the wings. As for the pizza there was something odd tasting about the crust. I'm not sure if it was the pizza boxes they used were old or the flour used was stored differently but it had an odd taste. I will try the pizza again to see if it was just a bad batch. read more

We found this place after we got done shopping at Publix. We went to grab a slice and found out that they were only a dollar a piece I was able to feed myself and three of my kids for less than five dollars. It was pretty awesome! Sauce was good, crust a little soggy. Said it would be 15-20 mins, got there within 20 mins but still had to wait 10-15 mins for my food.
