Stopped in for something sweet while the kids were finishing a sports practice. They have just about anything that you could be in the mood for here. My husband had a guava pastry and I just had a cappuccino. Everything looked delicious and his pastry was amazing - just like my coffee. The person at the counter was super friendly and offering lots of information about all the items that they had. The location is very clean and bright with 2 counter areas so they have room for the ice cream and baked goods. The absolutely lovely Jahaira and her husband, from Miami, are serving up delicious eats with yummy coffee and I recommend you not take my word for it - go see for yourself! Stopped by because I was craving something sweet! The inside is quite large, with plenty of seating to choose from. Along with sweets and desserts, they also serve Caribbean food, empanadas, and other bakery items. I've eaten at Pixie's enough times for breakfast and lunch that I'm considering applying for a job there. Family-owned business that take pride in everything they make. Great value. Very clean. Festive decor. Super friendly owners. They recently expanded into the next store space to add Hersey's ice cream. No shortage of things to try here. Honestly Pixie's is my first choice for breakfast or lunch as I like to read a book during my meal. The new space is great for this. Not only was I very excited to try one because my favorite dessert ever is crème brûlée and I haven't seen them many places that sell crème brûlée but when I received it wasn't very appetizing. But I still ate one bite and I threw it up. It tasted like it was fried an old oil. I couldn't even finish the other one or even finish the one I had bit because of how disgusting it was. So I called the restaurant and I asked when it was made they told me it was made on Tuesday and today's Friday so four days sitting already made and still sell it that's disgusting. This is maybe THE slept on bakery in the Orlando area. The service is excellent, the owner is so sweet and kind and remembers you when you walk in. The desserts are excellent, my roommate always gets the guava cheesecake and I get the lava cake (which has a liquor white chocolate crème filling I think) and both are soooo good. They also have an excellent sandwich selection with all the breads made in house. I always feel welcomed and I know I'll leave happy, please check this place out and share it with others!!! They have a very cute outdoor seating area next to the lake that would be a nice spot for a lunch. I was impressed they had monsieur/madam croque which I haven't had in years but love. I ended up getting a chicken empanada and a dirty chai tea latte and both were yummy! The empanada was fresh, crispy, and full and the chai tea latte was really well balanced.
