I'd had this place bookmarked for a little while, but whenever the guilty craving for pizza came around, I habitually went for Pizza Hut. So glad I remembered this place this past saturday when the craving struck. They have a few interesting pizzas, in particular the pastrami one, but I couldn't talk the wife into it on a first try out of the place. Instead we got their carbonara pizza with chicken, bacon and mushroom with the garlic butter a nice background flavor. Good amount of cheese too and the pan crust has a nice soft doughy, chew and a nice crisp bottom. Basically, the kind of crust that you actually want to eat. Only complaint I could have is that the toppings weren't really uniformly distributed, which left some slices with much on them, but as good as the crust and cheese is, I wasn't left sadly eating the more barren slices. All the ingredients are seemingly fresh and good quality. Despite some of the seemingly crazy amount of toppings on some of their pizzas, based on the quality of their crust, I could see them standing up to the weight. Great walk in services. My family and I had just wanted something quick and yummy for less than $20 we received a lg 2 topping pizza bread stick and deep fried ravioli with a 2 liter all for $17.99. Great place. The food was really yummy. We will go back for more. read more

We called to place a delivery order, were put on hold for 10 min before they picked up. The kid who took our order had no idea what he was doing, fumbled the order, then told me (after going uhhhhh for 5 min) their credit card machine was down and they'd send the order out and call me back for the card. Over an hour later, we were all starving, called back... Put on hold for another 10 min... then told they never made the order and had tried to call me back but my "phone wasn't working". That was crap, as we immediately called from two different numbers and it worked. They never made our order, and then tried to tell me I was the crazy one. Meanwhile, it took us calling back for anything to happen. No idea how the pizza is.... Since we never got it. Don't call for delivery here unless you just wanna sit around hungry for an hour and a half. read more

Two stars for friendly service! Our first time here, we walked in and ordered a Medium Pepperoni pizza. The staff seemed friendly.The lady taking phone orders, which she didn't wash her hands after hanging up the phone and proceeded to make pizza in the back .We were really hungry so we got home to our pizza..to be very disgusted and disappointed about how exaggerated the grease on the box and the back of the pizza was. Thank you for bending over backwards for our Cub Scout group and for my special orders!! Today for instance, the owner was nice enough to make the heart shaped pizza for my son's school party! I order this every year for his class party and was told that they were not going to be making the pizza's until the 13th & 14th this year. After my heart started beating again....I kindly asked if they would work with me since there was an upcoming school holiday. The owner worked with me to make this happen today! As always they go above and beyond.....and they are making a lot of kids happy today for their Valentine's party! I love this place when I don't feel like cooking which is at least once a month. I ALWAYS order the Giant Chicken Carbonara. It's enough to feed a family of 3 men and mom with one leftover for son's lunch the next day. It's delicious and the price is right for a 20-inch specialty pizza. We've ordered for delivery and carry out. You can save yourself the delivery fee and tip if you pick it up yourself but you lose the convenience of waiting at home. I usually call in my order after picking up my son from daycare in Rancho and it's ready by the time I arrive. $22 to feed 4 people is an awesome deal. We've been a customer since we moved to Fontana in 2012 and we've had a chance to try all the salads, desserts, wings (LOVE the 5 Alarm sauce), short ribs and almost all the breads. They are all good! Once in a while we will venture out and try another specialty pizza but we always go back to the Chicken Carbonara. The Giant pizza has the right thickness in crust and every bite has a little of everything on it. You get the full flavor of Chicken Carbonara. I call in and they already know my name. I love it! Probably the best pizza and sandwiches I've had in a while. I've been going there since they opened and found that the pastrami pizza is my personal favorite but they have gyro pizza too which is equally impressive. I think the best thing about Pizza 101 is the variety of pizzas and sides. I haven't tried everything they have but I have tried most of their experimental pizzas and have loved them all. I just wish they had a store up in the high desert since I can only eat here when I travel down the hill. read more

Let's first start with the pizza... It is excellent! Great value and the quality of the ingredients are above par. Excellent customer service, very courteous. Bryan helped us out beyond what was expected. Although I'm in this area everyday every other week, I live in Chino. When I'm here is it's because I pick up my 2 boys from school. Well they love the pizza here but this place isn't really designed for eating there. There are 2 small tables, which feels more like they were meant for while you wait for the pizza, but Bryan understood our situation and provided us with enough napkins to use as plates and made us feel comfortable to eat there. So if you're looking for a place to eat pizza you may want look elsewhere. No fountain drinks are available here, only bottled drinks (no refills). Ok, so this place is up the street from me and read some good reviews on it. Pizza is great for a few reasons. 1 the dough is fresh, 2 the ingredients are fresh. I had the 101 Combo and a cheese and pepperoni. I loved it the kids loved and so did my English Bulldog. I also had an order of 5 alarm wings, not as hot as I thought they would be but they where good. I also ordered a Antipasto salad and when I picked up my order I realized they didn't give it to me. Here is where I give them BIG PROPS, Tyler the guy that took my order delivered the salad to my house. That's customer service, I will go back and I highly recommend this place. When I called I was quoted a wait time is 40 minutes, when I call back after an hour I was told that they were running behind another driver left 20 minutes ago it was gonna be at my door any minute. I've ordered pizza from this place many times but today was the worst experience. The pizza was delivered about 1 hour and 20 minutes after ordering and was the wrong pizza.
