I think this is really solid pizza, but for it's price point, we expected a bit better. $70 for two 16-in pizzas is on the higher side.

For a promised time of an hour, we knew it might take 5-10 more minutes on one of the busiest Fridays of the year. However, I was shocked by the lack of apology for the additional twenty minute delay on our pizzas, garlic bread, and salad. All they said was "It'll be another 20 minutes." I gave them an extra half second to add a "sorry for the wait" or a simple "sorry" that never came. We returned and they told us they "didn't have" our order. Luckily, my husband has excellent vision and was able to point out our order behind them. Finally, we arrive home with our order. And to our dismay, the salad with NO OLIVES (all caps, as written on the box and the receipt) had over a dozen pieces of olives in them. Incredible work. So glad we gave them a chance so we can never do it again. read more

The hours listed are not accurate. The website says its open Wednesday- Sunday 3pm to 9pm after calling 3 times and getting disconnected we drove there only to fine out it was closed at 6:30pm on a Thursday night. Really disappointed. read more

This place really deserves a 5-star review, but I am just disappointed I could not try it again before the end of my trip as it is closed Mon-Tue-Wed. This was our first dinner as we got to Keystone and boy did it hit the spot. We got a sausage pizza and a garlic cheese stix. The sausage is finely ground so no big clumps of sausage in some bites... it covered the pizza very evenly. The garlic cheese stix had full cloves or garlic, nicely roasted for a mild, sweet flavor. It is a very small place, with no seating area, so it is only for take out. The staff were incredibly friendly and worked quickly. You can tell the owner takes pride on every piece of that makes it out the door. Will definitely try it again when back in Keystone, and will plan accordingly for the weekday closures. read more

Great pizza overall! I ordered the Veggie Supreme, and the crust was fantastic. While the pizza was a bit flimsy (likely due to the generous amount of toppings, which I appreciated), the flavors were solid. There was a mix-up with our order, so we had to wait for them to remake it. However, the staff was incredibly apologetic and went above and beyond to ensure we got a great pizza in the end. Despite the wait, I'd definitely go back. Just be prepared for mountain pricing - after tip, one 16" pizza came to $40. Absolutely perfect hole in the wall pizza joint with a walk up counter, serving delicious New York style. Pizzas! We tried the Casper, cheese, and sausage! The cheese was a showstopper! They put some kind of garlic oil on the top, and it makes the flavor burst! The wings were pretty perfect as well! Not dripping in sauce, but definitely full of flavor! I would say their normal seasoning level is about a medium, and everybody was able to enjoy them! There's no sitting and barely room to wait but give this place a try. After a long day of snowboarding at Keystone, we picked up some pizza not too far from our ski in ski out lodge. We called ahead and picked up our order around 45 minutes later. The shop is super small. Really only one person can go in at a time. Not sure if it's always been like that or just during COVID. I did have to wait a bit for my pickup as there was a short queue when I arrived. We ordered the godzilla, bbq, and a calzone. The calzone was amazing! Definitely try one! We picked pepperoni, fresh basil, and mushroom as our toppings (can select up to 4). Godzilla was also good, like a super supreme pizza. BBQ was decent but probably should have opted for a more veggie friendly pizza given the other flavors we got. read more

Pizza 101 is a fair option for pizza after a day of shredding up the mountain. It's best to just call in your order and pick it up on your way back to your lodging as they do not have any dine in service. One of my friends that lives in the area recommended pizza 101 and I also saw it on yelp so I knew it was a must try. We got a ride to Pizza 101 ready to go in and eat. Unfortunately this is a take out pizzeria. It was the only negative that we had to it. We ordered our pizza and walked across the street to a bar and had drinks while we waited. They told us 20 to 30 minutes for our order and when we walked back over it was ready. You could go in the bar to eat the pizza, but we decided to take it back to the lodge. One bite everyone knows the rules. Pizza was hot and fresh. It had plenty of toppings on it and the flavor was great. The crust was nice and crispy. WOW. That's the best word to describe the pizza here. We drove from Golden to Keystone and our first stop was Pizza 101. Someone who works at ski shop across the street had a slice when we were shopping there and picking up our condo keys from the rental office in the strip mall. So we popped over, not expecting much. It's a small place, takeout only. The ceiling is plastered with ski posters and autographs. The two guys working there were very friendly, courteous and not at all giving off anti-tourist vibes. We ordered a Supreme Pizza and some Garlic Cheese Stix (hold the garlic) for the kid. These guys know how to make pizza. Expertly stretching the dough, showing off a bit with spinning the dough, placing the toppings and watchfully checking on the baking process throughout! While it baked, we chatted it up with the two staff members. We talked about skiing, snowboarding, Keystone. They were both very nice and positive. One of the guys gave my daughter a sticker, which was sweet of him. The smell of the pizza in the oven was incredible. They recommended the creek outside to picnic, but we were too lazy and ate the pizza in the car. Now the pizza... WOW, WOW, WOW. I've had pizza all across the United States. NY, Chicago, Los Angeles and DAAAAMMMMNNNN! This pizza was legit amazing. Crust perfectly stretched and baked, toppings so perfect as far as sauce to cheese to topping. I devoured this thing. No pictures. I just straight up ate it. It's drool worthy. If you are staying in Keystone, take the car and drive out to this place. It's WAY better than anything in the village. read more

My partner and I stumbled upon this place on a whim. She was suddenly very hungry, we did some research, and this place was a mile away, so off we went. There's nowhere to sit, and there's cool skiing maps and photos on the walls. We ordered a 16" Italian pizza which has roasted garlic, pepperoni, mushrooms, and tomatoes on it. 20 minutes later the pizza was ready! We brought it to our vehicle and dug in. It was absolutely one of the best pizzas we've ever had. The sauce was delicious, the cheese was hot and melty, the toppings were all fresh, the crust was crispy, and the whole thing was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this place, and maybe call in your order ahead of time so you can grab it and go since there's nowhere to sit inside there anyway. read more

I ordered 2 pizzas from here while on vacation at keystone. I got a plain cheese and an Italian, both medium size. The pies were great! Great sauce and toppings. The pizzas were ready when I arrived for pick up and the check out process was quick. They packed Parmesan and red pepper packets which is a nice touch. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the high price. I suppose being in a resort town everything is more expensive but I feel like pizza should never have this high of a cost. This place was really delicious! Exceeded my expectations with their hand made pizza dough. I got their cheesy garlic bread and it was SO good! It tasted like a cheese pizza with chunks of garlic roasted right on top. Served with a well-spiced marinara sauce this was so delicious I wanted to order it again the next day! This. Place. Rules. I was driving from Vail to Denver when I-70 closed due to inclement weather. I opted to stay the night in Keystone. The staff at the Hyatt Place recommended Pizza 101 for takeout. Fantastic!! It was so awesome to get 1) a totally delicious (!) pizza by 2) a genuine and authentic staff who made me feel completely comfortable and at home, considering my situation. Great pizza. Just know, before you go, Pizza 101 is takeout only. No dining room, no patio. (You may be able to eat your pie at the bar across the parking lot, if you are cool and they feel cool - but no promises.) There is barely enough room to stand and wait. That being said, that didn't stop people from staying to order a pizza and just hanging out with the Etch-a-Sketchs until it was done. The pizza is worth the wait. Nice thick handtossed crust, and quality meats and cheeses. It's definitely worth a return trip, but it is better to call ahead rather than wait the full 20m cook time in store. read more
