First time trying this spot and it was clear we're gonna be regulars. The dining room is cozy and clean with an open kitchen view. First impression... We waited just 3-4 min to be seated as the staff was all handling tasks and during that short wait at least 4 separate staff members greeted us & made us feel welcome. Good start! The wife (ugh I'm horrible with names) seated us and gave us a choice of tables. Another win as my veteran husband is weird about where he's sitting. It was clear that most of the tables there were regulars, and once we tasted the food it was obvious why. EVERYTHING we tasted was fresh and made with love. The Capri appetizer was a light fresh flavorful combo of all things I love, lol. It had a base of pesto made with a garlic kick. We scraped the plate clean! Classic margarita pizza with a perfect crust. Not too thick, not too thin, crisp edges but still the right chewy crust feel. We like extra basil and were quickly accommodated. I didn't need dessert but the first 2 courses had been so perfect, I was curious what they would have. Aunty-someone, in the fam, makes the cheesecake from scratch at home and the neice/server vouched that it was gonna be the best we've had... She was right! Food was 10/10. The only thing I'll note, which wasn't an issue for us, is that their drinks are all bottled or canned. Though they do have water or wine as options too. We were checked on through out our meal by all servers and even the cooks who would come into the dining area during a down moment. We came here on a Wednesday evening around 6pm and thankfully there weren't many people in the place, so we were seated right away. We were greeted by a few folks working behind the oven and that felt very welcoming! The service here is really outstanding. You almost feel like you are part of the family immediately! All of the details from the decor to the OG placemats with a scene of Italy on them are really well thought out. We started with a bottle of the Gragnano which was delicious. I got the da Vinci and hubs got the Donatello. Both pizzas were absolutely lovely, though the fresh tomatoes did make it more of a "wet" pizza. I also think they need to cut the pizza into more pieces. Maneuvering 4 large slices with such a wet base is a little tricky, since all the toppings have a way of falling off. Regardless, this was a lovely experience and we got 2 cannoli to go as well! Pizza Amanti is definitely worth a visit! read more

Everything served is fresh! We had Amanti salads and two pizzas. One was the OG, which featured onions, tomatoes, mushrooms and olives. The name of the other escapes my memory, but featured pepperoni and sausage. Both were a delight. I can't stress it enough: this is freshly made food. They serve wine and imported beer, many labels were from Italy and weren't familiar to me, but complimented the flavors well. When you walk in a stranger at Pizza Amanti, you walk out family. It is an incredibly personal experience. We were greeted by Rico, the owner, and served by his wife. We visited thanks to a Yelp recommendation, and would go back in a heartbeat. Visited Pizza Amanti again and every time it is better than the last. The Staff doesn't miss, has a talent and passion for making great food in a place with a warm welcome, just like your family. On this visit I had a Raphael (the Donatello pizza with ricotta cheese added). The simple blend of the pepperoni, mozzarella, ricotta and sauce on Ricos dough recipe makes it hard to stop eating. I also had the bruschetta, and it too is great. The toasted bread is light and spongy, great for sopping up the olive oil. Topped with grape tomatoes and mozzarella pearls it is sweet and salty, yummy. Don't miss out on great pizza, I highly recommend Pizza Amanti as one of my favorite spots. It consists of Red Sauce, Mozzarella, Italian Sausage, Salami, Cup and Char Pepperoni, Bacon and Smoked Ham. I've been wanting to check this place out out ever since I saw their article in the newspaper. It really caught my attention because the owner has Filipino roots. Also, because I love pizza! They were pretty busy and it looked like they only had 1 server. It's okay because we were catching up and we needed time to look over the menu. I ordered the La Pera salad. This was delicious! We came across this restaurant as my husband saw the sign for pizza and wood chopped out front, wood fired pizza! We went in on a Saturday night and we were seated right away. They haven't been opened very long so there was plenty of seating. We were greeted promptly by one of the owners. We were told a little bit about their recipes and decided to try their bruschetta, for our appetizer. The marinade and the bread were spot on, so good! Love the crunch on the bread, so fresh! We chose the Donatello pizza which was a red sauce with pepperoni. The server asks your preference on the cook and we like ours more on the cooked side. The wood fired oven cooks at 650 so the pizza comes out quickly. When the pizza arrived it looks like a work of art, absolutely amazing! The first bite had that "crunch", that's all it took for me, love! The ingredients are all made in house and the recipes are authentic. The dough is more of a thicker consistency and worked so well with the toppings. We knew we were going to try their cannoli and the tiramisu for dessert but was told the cannoli was sold out! The desserts are made in house and apparently the cannoli is a huge hit! The tiramisu came out and we were blown away, the serving was plenty for the both of us. It was probably the best I've ever had, full of flavor and reminded me of my mom, her favorite dessert, she would have loved this. Imagine our surprise when the owner surprised us with a cannoli! I love cannolis but most are on the sweet side, this one was not overly sweet and melted in your mouth, lots of chocolate chips! We were able to stop in during Pizza Amanti's soft opening! The new owners of the pizzeria were very warm and welcoming. They had several pizza options available to try. We opted for the da Vinci - sort of an elevated meat lover's - and the Mona Lisa - on the opposite of the pizza spectrum: meatless ricotta, mozzarella, garlic, basil. Both had a crisp crust from the wood-fired oven. The red sauce on the da Vinci was just right to us, not too tart and not too sweet. The owners are very friendly and open to feedback. I had the la bandiera which is a nod to the Italian flag. The pesto was super tasty, and the sauce you could tell was fresh made. The cheese is even higher quality than you find most places. My husband had the Giuseppina angry style which means it had the spicy arriabiata sauce. It's not overwhelming with spice but the flavor profile is perfectly "angry". This is a true family run restaurant. Everyone you see is family. They treat YOU like family. Welcoming, friendly. The menu is small right now focused on pizza. There are several different kinds of sauces to choose from as well. The pizzas come out super fast and are very large dinner plate size, 4 large slices for each pie. There are plans to add other family recipes that include pasta. The chef/owner is outgoing and checks to make sure you are enjoying what you ordered. He will share their restaurant story--ask him. PA replaced our favorite pizza parlor in the world, so they have a steep hill to climb. I truly hope they can. I tried their da Vinci pizza. It lacked flavor compared to PBV. I understand they are trying to go 'local' but be true to their Italian roots. I don't think that is possible. The crust is bland without imported flour.
