Stopped in after a hike and this spot didn't disappoint. I grabbed an order of mini corn dogs and a 7in pizza. The pizza size reminded me of the personal pan pizzas from Pizza Hut I loved as a kid. The service was quick and the pizza was piping hot. read more

We were very disappointed with our pizzas! They were basically raw when we picked them up. They were cold, the pizza box was very wet under the pizza and the crust was very soft and mushy. The pizza very much needed to be cooked longer. We had 2 separate orders, the first one was close to 50.00 and then second one was close to 90.00. The only thing that was edible was the cheesesticks, chicken and the fried pickles. The rest was a total waste of money and we ended up just throwing it away. Pretty straight-forward menu, pizza, pizza, pizza with a few appetizer options. We settled on the "Signature Mountain Man" pizza and jalapeño poppers. A good portion of poppers came out first. They were with yellow cheese (versus the cream cheese I am more used to). Piping hot and yummy. The pizza: we ordered the large and it was large. Too much for two grown men to polish off today. This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. We ordered carry out and got a thin crust Supreme and regular crust Buffalo Chicken. Definitely get the thin crust. Ordered online at the location at the foot of our cabins. Spent over $50 for two pizzas and cheesy bread. Got a call that they weren't taking orders because their pizza oven was being replaced but theyd transfer my order to another store, 15 minutes away. Got to that store, they had no idea what I was talking about. There was no order for me. Called the orginal store back and the associate was extremely rude and not at all apologetic. Said I needed to "bear with her" and then hung up. Never heard back. The pizza was very good! The service was great. Only negative is that they should say they use door dash for deliveries. They just show they deliver. But when the driver didn't show they had no recourse. He finally showed up an hour late. I will say they offered to remake the order and we could pick it up. Pizza at the Cove was located at the bottom on the hill of our cabin, so tried it. We ordered cheese pizza and wings. We had several people who wanted different wing sauces and they accommodated us by putting our varied sauces on the side. Our pizza was dark when we received it. We were hungry and it was close to them closing the restaurant so we dealt with it. One interesting thing is the restaurant is adorned with dollar bills over the entire restaurant. We just got in from a long day of travelling. We planned to stay in for the night and order dinner to recharge the batteries. I read about this place as "local favorite" on Reddit. I was hoping that they would deliver, but we were outside of the delivery zone (4 miles). No big deal, I wouldn't want to deal with the Parkway. The pizza smelled great when I put it in my car and dealt with traffic... I wish I would have opened it up before I got home because I was pretty disappointed. The overall taste was fine, but there were 3 softball soze bubbles that took over the pizza and left me with no sauce, cheese or toppings.
