Someone posted a comment & a picture of a pizza they ordered from Pizza Blast. THANK YOU FOR DOING THAT!!! I thought, "OMG!! I haven't been there for quite some time." And honestly I had forgotten about this place. Decided the following weekend to order a couple of pizzas for myself & a friend who was visiting, AND WOWW!!! Those pizzas were made to perfection & the flavors & crust, EVERYTHING was truly amazing!! My friend could not get over the goodness in the pizza & especially the prices, can not beat the prices. And OHH, the sauce is also fantastic. Believe me I haven't bought a jar of marinara sauce in ions because I make my own now, which my family just loves. Also, the owner is soo kind & hospitable, you can tell he really puts his into his business. I used to enjoy pizza, one of my favorite foods, but stopped ordering them from other places because the flavors were just not there & the crusts were too hard AND prices were getting outrageous! Once in a while I would get a good one but pizza is too expensive to not eat the whole thing, crust & all. I am happy happy that I found this gem of a pizza place again. Please try it if you haven't already, it's a small business that's been there for sometime. And for those who put a low rating, I'm sorry you had a bad experience. True, the place needs some help on the inside, but I remember it was different when I was going there some years ago. And also, maybe it was someone else & not the owner who made your pizzas. I stopped here on a road trip because of the great Yelp reviews and desire for a quick meal. First, based on the interior, this place isn't doing well. Not a sit down place. A wide variety of pizza toppings contrasts poorly with four drink choices: bottled water, cans of coke, squirt and 7up. Ok, so based on reviews, they must just deliver great damn pizza, right!! Nope. Pizza dough was not thin and crispy nor was it thick and chewy. Flat and reminded me of frozen pizza crust. Veggies on top were fine. Cheese was, I believe, part skim mozzarella. Became thick and chewy after briefly cooling. Crust not chewy, cheese chewy, wrong kind of chewy. I don't understand the ratings and wouldn't recommend takeout and definitely no need to dine in. Second star for being cheap, $14 for two toppings on a poor crust. read more

This place will keep you from starving--the prices were good. Had I never worked in pizza places, I still don't think I could rate this as a 4. This restaurant has loads of potential. The pizza could have been amazing had it not been baked too long. It had a crust that was between thin and thick, unlike the California chains that provide you with mountains of everything, including the prices. The ingredients seemed quite good. It was in the oven about 3 minutes too long and the crust was too brown and ingredients were dried up. Getting into the parking lot was interesting after dark. I couldn't see the entrance off Broadway, so I turned onto the side street and worked my way back in the strip mall parking lot. This place has really gotten worse and worse with every new owner. I used to love coming here and getting the broccoli and Cheese garlic pizza, but on this most recent visit, I got a free extra topping in the form of a nasty black hair in the pizza. I ordered the pizza via phonecall otherwise I would have never eaten here in a million years. The man, who I assume is the new owner, had a professional appearance that I can only describe as, "disheveled." No gloves, filthy shirt, long greasy hair in a loose ponytail, no hair net. He wouldn't even give me a full refund. I'll eat the street vender mystery meat in China, before I ever eat at this dump again. read more

Their cheesy garlic bread is to die for. You can also add a couple of toppings to the cheesy garlic bread, order it with pepperoni on top and you have the best of all pizza worlds. This is a small mom and pop shop so don't expect industry standards when you walk in the door but the pizza is great and the cheesy garlic bread out of this world. The decor is frightening and that would be a complement. The staff is "just there".
