From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and had a fun vibe that made it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. We tried several different items, and everything was delicious. Our favorites included the Alfredo, tomato, bacon, and fresh basil pizza, the classic pepperoni and sausage pizza, and the Alfredo chicken pizza with tomatoes. Each pizza had fresh ingredients, plenty of flavor, and a perfectly baked crust. We also ordered a calzone, and it was HUGE! It was packed with fillings and was easily big enough to share. If you're hungry, it's definitely worth ordering. One thing I also appreciated was that they tape the pizza boxes closed, which is a great touch--especially for DoorDash drivers and customers. It helps keep the food secure and gives you confidence that your order hasn't been opened during delivery. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with great food, generous portions, and a fun atmosphere. We can't wait to come back and try even more of the menu. First time trying Gold Dust Pizza but people Ive spoken to says their pizza is good so had to find out for myself. I did a take out order and went for a small Triple Strike pizza which had diced, cupped and regular pepperoni on an original crust They added 2 Mikes Hot Honey sauces to my order. Verdict- pretty good pizza, the bread was thick and the tomato sauce was good that it wasn't overpowering. I liked the diced pepperoni since it was extra crispy and reminded me of those frozen pepperoni pizza growing up that just had diced pepperoni. There was plenty of meat for every bite. The hot honey was interesting to try and countered the saltiness of the pepperoni. I didn't do it for just a few bites since I didn't need the extra sugar in my system. I'm not even half way done eating, had to made a review! I've been a chef for 12 years, this is hands down THE BEST PIZZA I've had in a long time! Love how the crust is both crunchy and soft! The pizza is perfectly sauced and they are heavy handed with the toppings (which I loooove!) The wings are amazing and came out piping hot, just like the pizza! Ranch is delicious! Took my son here on the 27th of June because I heard a lot of good things about this place and wanted to try their pizza. Upon entering the restaurant I didn't like the location much seemed really crammed and built more takeout rather than dine in for pizza. We were able to place an order and I was disappointed about they did not have fountain drinks to offer. I bought a couple soda bottles. Pizza took quite a while to come out. Staff was friendly just very busy. We finally got our pizza and garlic parmesan wings. Pizza was delicious and fully loaded. Wings were tender and flavorful. Definitely will return but going the to go takeout order option. May visit the restaurant in Oakdale to get the full experience. This location is more takeout friendly. read more

I'm a huge pizza fanatic. I love love pizza and always on the hunt for the best pizza I can find. It was my first time here and they didn't disappoint. I got half veggie pizza and half cheese. The veggie was good but I really liked the cheese. I personally think you test how good a pizza place is by their cheese pizza and theirs was excellent. I tried the original wings which come out more crispy then the mango habanero wings with sauce in them. I like my wings crispy that's just me. But the flavor on the mango habanero was good, just next time I would ask them to try and make them crispier. The service was very polite and right away offered me recommendations. Nice clean inside seating, not a big dinning area but big enough for small gatherings. Definitely one of my new favorite pizzas in town. First, I've heard amazing things about this place before they opened up in Modesto. I believed they are located in Oakdale, Ripon, and one or two other places. I've had the one in Ripon before it was Gold Dust, previously named Pizza Plus. I'm a pizza addict, so I'm always looking to try a new pizza place especially when they sell slices. I personally love NY style slices and square slices (Golden Boy SF). Once I stepped inside, it was packed and the lady that took my order said it would be about 7 mins because they just put a pie in the oven. I took my slice outside where there are a couple table to enjoy your slice. First glance, it doesn't look very appealing, but I knew they use lots of cheese and are heavy on the toppings. Based off the smell, I knew that this was going to be a solid slice! Of course, it was amazing! The crust was crispy, the sauce is DELICIOUS, and the pepperoni was perfectly crisp. Hands down, great pizza! I only gave them 4 stars based on the price, $4.33 is a little bit pricy but I understand that the cost to operate a business isn't cheap.
