Stopped by on a Friday evening around 4:45 PM, and it was pleasantly low-key. There were only a handful of people so I was able to place my order at the counter quickly. They offer great combo deals. You can do a whole pie or grab combos like one slice with a soda, two slices with a soda, or two slices with a beer. Solid value. For under $20, I got two slices of pizza and a craft beer. Their craft beer selection is awesome and definitely a highlight. I ordered two slices: *Surf Rider: Their most popular and classic pizza. The New York-style crust was phenomenal, but for my taste there were way too many chunks of garlic. *Basil Pesto & Ricotta: Again, great New York-style crust. I wish they added pepperoni to this one. The ricotta flavor was pretty subtle so while it was a nice pizza, it didn't really stand out. The space itself is great with indoor seating plus two large outdoor seating areas, complete with TVs for sporting events. Dogs are allowed, which is a nice bonus. They even give out dog treats at the counter. There's only street parking, but I still found a spot just a few minutes away. Overall, this is a cute spot with amazing New York-style crust, which is my favorite. The employees were very friendly, and it took less than five minutes to order and have the slices ready. They even brought them out to me. While the crust was excellent, the overall flavor of the pizzas didn't quite hit for me. I've been having WAY too much pizza lately. Definitely enough to start comparing different restaurants. This place is perfect for ordering by the slice. They have a decent selection and you can pair with a beer or a soda for a combo. You seat and serve yourself to silverware, napkins, pizza toppings. If the condiments are not on your table, they are next to the cashier, that was a challenge on the first visit to know how to get organized. I've walked by here a number of times over the years, but they've always been crowded. Great outdoor spaces and the interior is big too with bar seats as well. I called up a friend to meet me here since I was going to be in the area. The young woman at the counter was friendly and excited it was my first time in. They sell pizza by the slice, but you can get whole pies too. Thought I'd try their barbeque chicken pizza and the meatball sub. The sandwich came out first. Really good size, tasty sauce, and the roasted red peppers really made a difference. The pizza was next. Good solid crust and the chicken, green onions, and sauce made a delicious pizza. Daveed thought the sauce was a little too sweet, but I thought it was good. The staff is really great! Got a togo box from another worker and the place was starting to get busy. Started my day with a hangover and a group chat text message saying all my friends are meeting up at Surfrider Pizza for an early lunch. Let me tell you, coming from someone who's never been here, I was pleasantly surprised! I had to park a few blocks away, but it's really only a 3 to 7 minute walk wherever you park. Unless you get lucky and get front row parking, which can happen! The staff are extremely friendly and enjoy very much letting you know what pizzas they have available, and they even have these massive cookies that I'm going to try next time I stop by. Unless you order a whole pizza, they have pre-cooked pizzas that they will throw individual slices back into the oven to get nice and toasty and warmed up for your meal. I enjoy this as it adds a nice little extra crisp to the pizza that's a very warm and inviting. Also, the quality of the dough and the toppings you can tell there's a lot of love put into this food and it is absolutely delicious! The garlic knots are also out of this world, I highly recommend getting marinara and ranch on the side. There's inside seating and plenty of outside seating, and it was such a beautiful day. I'm so thankful that we got to eat outside. I became a huge fan just from my first and only visit so far, definitely planning on going back. Came here 30 minutes before closing and the lady working the register was really kind and patient since it was our first time here. Even though they were closing soon she never rushed us and she had very good customer service super friendly , we regret not asking her for her name. Visited here for a group of friends way back in December to do a gift exchange with the kids. It's a casual pizza restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring you your meal when it's warm and ready. The patio area was pretty empty when we went which was great because we had about 8 adults and 16 kids. The kids were able to spread out and open their presents while the adults were able to chat and enjoy their meal. The whole pizzas do take awhile so keep that in mind when ordering. It was quiet on a Wednesday around 2:30, probably just that lull between lunch and dinner, since I've seen it busy plenty of times before when passing by. Customer service was ordinary, we weren't expecting much from a pay first, then sit down type of place . Our food took about 10 minutes or so, and a kind busser brought our food to us-- here's what we had: GARLIC KNOTS: Yes, they were fresh . Yes, they were fluffy . I was hoping for a bit more as these babies are displayed as the first thing you see when you walk in. (I was thinking maybe fresh garlic butter brushed on top would give you a "wow" factor)--- but, it was just served dry with a marinara sauce . Since it is a part of CRG, we were certain that it would be great...we were a bit disappointed with the pizzas. The place was not packed but the staff was very customer service oriented. I noticed that they had some delicious looking pastry and cookie desserts in a small case next to the register. I was staying away from sweets so I did not try them. Took us about 10mins to get home. We each had a slice of each pizza and it was disappointing. The flavors were not robust nor flavorful as we had hoped. There was little to no pizza sauce on either pizza. The chicken topping was dry and missing any flavor. The crust was very cardboard like. There were not additional seasonings (Italian herbs, garlic oil, etc.) to enhance the pizzas. All of the CRG places are stellar with their food, so this was a shock to us, like super shocking. Maybe they were just so packed that they couldn't spend the time and energy on the pizzas for Super Bowl. We will try them again when it's not a busy event day and see if the pizza is better. Came here on May 2nd 2026 on a Saturday night walked in 20 minutes before they closed, but we thought because it was a slice of pizza. It would be no problem grabbing it since they're already cooked and cut. They only had to put it in the oven. The staff made my boyfriend and I feel like we were the biggest inconvenience. This place had me at the garlic knots, my mistake was ordering three, opt-in for the six or eight quantities. I'll definitely be back for the garlic knots and Calzone. The Calzone was big enough to feed two adults. Fresh and Hot from the oven, owey guwey, and a ton of cheese to pull apart from every meal. This place has a great outdoor seating setup where you can see the foot traffic and get some vitamin D. What we enjoyed the most about this place is you can taste the freshness in the bread in the sandwiches, the garlic knots and the pizza. For logistics, one side of the counter you order the garlic knots and the other side you order the pizza, sandwiches and drinks. This all funnels into the same cashier when you pay for your order. I cannot remember if there were TVs, we went on a raining Friday night when they have the Farmers Market on the main strip so get there early on Friday to get a decent parking spot.
