This open air restaurant on a main road doesn't look like much, but our pizza was delicious. Service was good just a little communication barrier, but nothing to complain about. If I could give zero stars I would. Service was terrible. Our server looked absolutely miserable and continuously forgot about our table. We ordered the sampler and it was all over cooked and rock hard. I specially asked for beef empanadas and got flavorless chicken empanadas. Most of the meat was chewy and bland. Ordered a side salad which the server forgot about. When it came out it was brown and slimy. They refused to comp the meal. We walked by this place at night and there was a long line. They are open 24 hours. My family and I went for lunch, it's our first time coming here. No line when we went at 3pm. No hostess we seated ourselves. I didnt like that the tables were dirty and had canned beer bottles and cups everywhere. Also, pigeons was everywhere, walking on top of the tables. Great thing about this place is that is open 24/7 and that is very conveniently located on Isla Verde Avenue. Pizza was good not great. Service however had to be the worst we've ever encountered. Everyone looked like they were hating life and didn't want to be there and you were inconveniencing them; rude to the core. I'm vegan so finding meals were a bit of a challenge seeing that Puerican's dishes are heavy on the meat. I do not recommend the pizza. I ordered a 1/2 mushroom and 1/2 pineapple. Once you placed your order, island time. No worries or care that you are overdue your order. The pina colada was the ice frozen kind...not good not even a pina colada to be honest. Just an icee with alcohol. The pizza to me was not good. I dislike it when the bottom is soggy, means they left it out for too long before bringing it to the table. I was ready to get out of there. My boyfriend, sister and I stopped there after the beach. We sat down at about 5:25pm they took our orders. After about thirty minutes of no drinks or food we kindly asked our waitress how much longer it would be. She let us know that it would be about 10 more minutes. After another 10 mins we saw a family leave saying it was taking too long. Our waiter came back and asked us what we had ordered. At that point it was 6:20pm we had been waiting for almost an hour. We let her know we were going to leave as our food was no where near done. She than said we could not leave since they were already making our food. We felt pressured to stay as she said we had to stay. It was terrible service we were seated for about 55mins with nothing. No drinks no food. She even forgot what we had ordered! Overall I would get this place a B+. The customer service could be better in the sense that the servers could be more attentive, but it's not a dealbreaker. If you're trying to go in the morning, you have to do everything yourself. They don't help unless you ask. I went during the evening and the food was great. It's something easy and fast. The pizza is mediocre at best but as everyone knows even mediocre pizza is excellent. It's a step or two about frozen pizza. The service was mediocre. They have a full bar. While eating a slice of cheese pizza spaghetti sauce fell on my shorts. The best thing about this pizza was a spaghetti sauce came out quite easily. read more

At the recommendation of a local we stopped in for dinner The place is simple, music too loud, drinks watered down and waitress service was abysmal. We began by ordering drinks basic piña-colada. One virgin one with alcohol. The virgin was great the regular one had so much swishy ice water you couldn't Taste the mix only the ice & water. We mentioned the matter to the waitress who brought a newly made one, to my disappointment it was as bad as the first. I decided to forgo the drink and go with a can of soda instead. I ordered " chuletas fritas con mofongo". The plate arrived. Mofongo can be dry and typically gets served with garlic sauce a/o gravy. This place was accompanied by neither. l asked for bean gravy or meat gravy and the waitress informed me that if I wanted gravy I would need to pay for a separate order of beans or meat. When I asked for garlic l received a look that suggested, will that be all or is there something else l can get for you. I waited. Upon the waitress return we asked for a second can of soda. The turn around time was ridiculous. As we approached the end of our meal I inquired about dessert. The waitress explained that Pizza City does not make its desserts they get them from a third party vendor. We ordered " tres leches and flan de vainilla". The tres leches had a bitter aftertaste and the flan was so hard I had trouble sticking a spoon in it. It was so hard I struggled to remove the spoon from the flan when I tried. Of course we requested the waitress take them back. The food while not horrible was not memorable and lacked flavor. I support of giving feedback to the on-site manager when I eat out. I grew up in a family where restaurants were our specialty and customer service was paramount as was their feedback. I asked for the manager and was directed to a tall man who was mixing drinks I waited for him to be done to share my observations. He same over did not introduce himself and as I began to relay the series of events I notice our waitress is approaching the bar to listen to the conversation. When she heard me share my opinion about her service she interrupted me, pulled her mask down and stated "mirame bien la cara, para que la próxima vez que vengas aquí busques otra para que te atienda!" Translation: "take a good look at my face so the next time you come here you can find someone else to serve you". The manager did not say anything to address her outburst, he just stood there. We paid our bill and left. This establishment is not professionally operated and can use significant upgrades in both the bathroom facilities beginning with a thorough cleaning. Could be PR 5 tho if you handicap it They get the food out quick, which under COVID is huge especially when their competitors are on island time.
