So come with me, you will see The very thing you're searching for Garlic Pie w/ Sausage from #ianspizza
    Mojo S.

It's not a bad neighborhood pizza joint. The pie I had turned out to be pretty decent--good coverage on the cheese, good sauce, and some big chunks of sausage that were spiced well enough for the pie I think my biggest issue is that I asked if they had fresh garlic as a topping--either minced or roasted chunks. They told me they did. But when I went there it turned out to be more like garlic powder sprinkled on. There was no comforting mouthfeel or sensation of biting into the garlic for me. And that's just nothing but disappointing. It'd be one thing if the location was a few miles from me, but when you're driving out 12-15 miles for pie, there has to be more on offer than powdered garlic.

New local pizza place that just opened. Great options and even better service. Would recommend checking out. Pizzas made and baked to order, so everything was fresh and hot.

Henry was super nice as he took our order. Even offered his creation of the street style pizza for free as we were waiting! Order a XL and it was enough for a family of 5, each slice was pretty big. It was flavorful and satisfying. Best part was the service :))

    Large calzone

Food was fire. I have to say. One of the best pizza places I have been too. I order 2 Hawaiian slices. Fresh and hot. Cheese was still melting and sliding off the crust. Large calzone is huge. Thought it was gonna be small. Definitely feed 3/4 ppl. Will be coming back here. The best part. The service.

Our server was really accomodating, tbh, everyone was like that in here from the person who greeted us to the server. Food was amazing. Simple, yet different. On apoetizers, we had brussel sprouts which was cooked differently m, flavorful and portions were just enough. Lettuce wraps did not disappoint, we asked for additional lettuce. We also had their nachos (?), i thought it was but its mostly potatoes with toppings... so full of flavor. We each had different main courses, mostly burgers so we can try it. I was in burger heaven! We had some dessert to share, i did not remember the names of it but it was dense & rich. They also serve mimosa flight and beer flights which my friends really loved, lol. Parking is such a breeze here. There is a parking building every block plus street parking & its free. That alone is a gift. They are pet friendly too.

The bottomless mimosas ($29.99) sound like a great deal, but just know how they run it. There's a 90-minute minimum, and they don't bring a bottle to the table--you get one mimosa at a time, and you have to finish it before they'll bring another. The first one I got tasted like straight orange juice barely any champagne. I sent it back and to their credit, they remade it much better They mentioned they control pours to keep the environment in check, which I understand--but if you're expecting free-pour vibes, that's not the case here. Food-wise: French toast & breakfast potatoes were really good However the Chilaquiles were super dry and lacked flavor--wouldn't recommend Burger & fries were decent, but nothing special As for drink pricing, it does lean a bit on the higher side. bucket of 5 beers was around $42, $15 for a Tito's vodka shot, and even a basic Jack and Coke came out to about $18 with tip, which felt a little steep for the area. the best deal was definitely the green tea shots at only $9 I will say, our waitress Priscilla was great. She had a lot of tables and seemed a bit overwhelmed, but she still made an effort to check on us and kept my mimosas coming pretty promptly. I didn't have to wait long at all between refills, which I appreciated. Since we went for a special event, the DJs were great and really kept the energy up the whole time Parking was easy. It did say there was a $2 fee, but when we printed the ticket, we weren't charged--so it might be free, but I'd still double-check at the kiosk just in case. Overall: decent spot for the vibe, music, and brunch outing, but just be prepared for controlled drinks and slightly higher prices.

We came on a weekend and it was super busy (as it should be honestly with how amazing the food and service are). We got the blackened salmon with penne pasta and baby potatoes, and the flat iron steak with bow tie pasta and herb brown rice. The steak was cooked perfectly medium. The bow tie pasta is served cold and has a vinegary flavor to it, definitely a distinct taste, but I personally loved it because I enjoy sour/vinegary flavors. I can see why it might not be everyone's favorite though, but I personally really enjoyed it. The salmon was also super flavorful and cooked perfectly. Same with the penne pasta and potatoes. Honestly everything was just made really well and good. For the sauce, we got their popular jalapeno garlic sauce and it paired well with absolutely everything. Needless to say, this place was really good from head to toe. I also got to meet the owner and he was super friendly too. I seriously wish they would open one closer to my area. Parking was really easy and the ambience was lively with sports playing all around the bar and plenty of seating.

I ordered blackened salmon with couscous as I saw the reviews that salmon is really good and garlic apple aioli to pair with. we find our own seats inside as it's hot outside, and waited for our food. as it turns out the salmon is pretty good, it's on the thin side but not too dry. lots of couscous that I couldn't finish the plate. garlic apple aioli pairs well with the dish too. my friend and her 12yo son ordered blackened tofu-+salad, and grilled shrimps+penne pasta. the tofu doesn't look very appetizing, and the salad is normal bowl size, not too big, compared to couscous and the pasta sides. the grilled shrimps comes on 1 screwer but looks pretty good as well. price is not too expensive, considering the inflation now. they do have a bar but we only got water. overall it's a relaxing place to catchup with friends, if you don't mind the music is on the louder side.

For dinner, we ordered the Ribs & Two Meat Combo with Memphis Ribs, Jalapeño Cheddar Smoked Sausage, and Brisket, plus the Chicken & Two Meat Combo with Brisket, Original Smoked Sausage, and Southern Fried Chicken. Our daughter had the BBQ Chicken Kids Meal, and of course we couldn't leave without ordering the Cast Iron Cornbread. Everything was delicious, but a few items really stood out. The jalapeño jam served with the cornbread was absolute perfection, sweet with just the right amount of heat. The Jalapeño Cheddar Smoked Sausage was easily one of my favorites. The Southern Fried Chicken was incredibly crispy, and both my toddler and I couldn't get enough of the mac and cheese. Gus's offers great value for the quality of food you get. The portions are generous and we had no complaints when it came to flavor. Parking is easy thanks to the nearby parking structure. Most of the seating is on the patio, while the indoor dining room seemed fairly small. Even on a warm Father's Day evening, the outdoor seating was surprisingly comfortable. We'll definitely be back, and next time I'll be ordering that cornbread all over again.
