Mozwell has become a go to spot for a reason. The vibe is consistently great, the breakfast burrito never misses, and the drinks make the brunch experience even better all at a price that keeps you coming back. Cool atmosphere that actually makes you want to slow down and enjoy your meal. Service was excellent. Highly recommend.

    Nachos, aguachilles, Caesar salad

I came here with my family on a Wednesday night for our weekly dinner outing! My mom is a vegetarian, and we decided on this place because there were several vegan and vegetarian options. We made a reservation for 3 at 7 PM and upon arriving, we were seated right away! Between the three of us, we ordered a vegan Caesar salad (btw do you know how hard it is to find a vegan Caesar salad?!), nachos (with chicken on the side), the Mozwell burger (the fries on the side were absolutely crispy and delicious), and the aguachilles! I thought it was really kind of the server to accommodate my mom's vegetarian preferences, and offered to put the meat on the side! The restaurant is clean, and the food is served fast (which I so appreciate when you're hungry). We had just missed happy hour which is from 4 to 6; however, I definitely want to come back and try it out!

This place looked really good in pictures online and upon coming it was very nice. Well decorated and definitely has a strong community following. They have weeknight events from trivia to jazz. Service was pleasant and very friendly. I do think the food didn't really stand out to me. It's a limited menu including tacos to pasta. I had two pasta dish's and it worthy about raving after. But the drinks were so good! Definitely come here for drinks and snacks to enjoy some live music or get together with friends.

This place felt more like a chaotic college party than an actual restaurant. The noise level was beyond loud and not in a fun or energetic way -- it was stressful just trying to have a conversation. The food arrived literally within about 3 minutes after ordering, which immediately made us question how fresh anything could possibly be. Unfortunately, the quality matched the speed. Most of the meats were badly burnt, dry, and almost inedible to the point where we had to send dishes back. Service was also extremely poor and disorganized, which only added to the chaotic atmosphere. Overall, this might honestly be one of the worst dining experiences I've had in Claremont. There are far better places nearby if you actually want to enjoy your meal and atmosphere.

Hubby randomly found this place while we were in the area. We came here yesterday for late lunch. Place was empty since it was an odd time. Atmosphere was bright & modern. I've read mixed reviews about this place in regard to the food & service & obviously it depends what you order & who serves you but I thought otherwise. We were given a weekend lunch menu. Hubby ordered taquitos & I had shrimp tacos. Both dishes were satisfying. Portions were just the right amount for us. The tortilla on the taco was thin but surprisingly it didn't break off. Shrimp tasted delicious & there were ample amount of them in each taco. All the condiments blended well together. I'd order it again. Taquitos were soft & flavorful. Our server was friendly & attentive. We'll be back again whenever we're in the area.

First time here. Aesthetically pleasing. Solid dishes. Good drinks. The nachos were so good! Forgot to take pics of most of the plates cause we'd dig in as soon as they were placed on the table Servers were so nice and recommended a few things when we were being indecisive. Would def come back.

This place is located in the packing house and has a very nice layout. The host was very polite and convinced me to go and give the place a try. I wasn't really satisfied with the burger. It seemed like just an ordinary burger nothing special I would want to come back for. Overall it was a good place with a nice draft selection.

Cute little bar and restaurant in Claremont. It's tucked inside a larger building and located toward the end, so it can be easy to miss at first. Inside, there's a cozy bar area with booths as well as tables for seating. They also host trivia nights, which adds a fun and lively vibe. Our group tried a few cocktails along with an order of fries. The drinks were well made, and the fries were tasty with a solid portion size. Overall, a nice spot to hang out, grab drinks, and enjoy a casual night out.

Came for drinks and an appetizer..it was supposed to be shared but guac was so good I basically ate it on my own. Drinks were super good and the ambiance is nice cool vibe; they had a DJ on. Would love to come back again and attend their events.

Cute vibes far away from home. I stopped by for a drink on the way back to LA. It was a Saturday evening and was pretty packed but not so much that we were overlooked. Service was friendly and drinks were okay, nothing extraordinary. Would love to come back for their bites.

Stopped by with a friend to grab some drinks and share appetizers at the bar. This place is a bit hard to find if you're not familiar with the Packing House. It's all the way in the back corner next to Eureka. Service was great. The ambiance is cute and trendy. I'm not sure if the AC couldn't keep up since it was a hot day but inside was pretty warm. My friend and I were slightly uncomfortable after a while. Food and drinks were pretty good. I ordered the Spicy Margarita and boy did it pack a punch. We shared the Chicken Tinga Empanadas and Chicken Nachos. The empanadas were delicious. Packed with tons of chicken and fried to perfection. The nachos were a great portion but the chips were stuck together so it was kind of hard to eat.

Mojo Fries (EXCELLENT) and Ma Cha-Cha cocktail (unique and good flavors!)

Was drawn to Mozwell because of the unique and tasty sounding menu items and it did not disappoint. We really enjoyed the Mexican fusion aspect and the cocktail menu was super creative. Although we only ordered two items, they were both excellent. We would have absolutely ordered more if we had room! Mojo fries were BOMB. Generous portion size and flavors were spot on. Consistency of fries was also perfect. Quesa birria tacos were delicious and had a generous amount of meat. Both items were good to split. The overall vibe of the restaurant was great and even though we did not go for Happy Hour, their HH menu looked excellent. Everything seems pretty shareable as well, so if you want to try multiple items, go with a group and share! Would recommend and would go again.

    Great experience and great food

Probably the worst plate I've ever gotten here. Rice was like it was reheated, not fresh, not even warm. Like they decided to reheat leftovers. Beans were too salty. This is my favorite spot and it felt odd because every time I've been here it's always been good! The server asked if the food was delicious. I just said it was good. I kept shoveling more food into my mouth like it would get better but it didn't. I left feeling conflicted... Maybe it was the people pleaser in me but being honest in that moment felt awkward. Like I could have easily just said the food is just not even warm like it sat out. Beans are too salty. But I really can't blame anyone but myself for not speaking up! I will come back again but I just really hated not loving the food.

My friends and I summarize this restaurant as being "great for apps and cocktails" and not the best for dinner. It's sort of in a tucked away location. I nearly walked into Gus's BBQ because I missed the sign pointing to the Whisper House entrance. Plenty of free street and structure parking in downtown Claremont since it's a college town. They've got indoor and outdoor seating and they seemed a touch understaffed for being a beautiful day. It was also a Tuesday lunchtime so maybe they weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was. We were able to prove the menu before we got seated. And our super friendly server came out and we were able to order right away. They've got a lunch special. That is a small personal pizza with a salad and we each got that. Salads came out first and I had the arugula salad, which was absolutely phenomenal. 10 of 10 would eat this every single day. The arugula was peppery and it was well dressed in a lemon vinaigrette type sauce. I am a fan of just plain lemon on mine, but this was delicious. My husband got a union salad, which is their specialty I guess. It's got colored carrots and some beets and some shallots. I thought the dressing was bland and it certainly needed salt and pepper. We asked for both and didn't get either. Our pieces came out and they were nice and woodfired. I feel like they could've been done just a little bit longer maybe a minute or two. The sauce was a lovely fresh type crushed tomato sauce. The cheese was nice and gooey and did not feel or taste like a package of processed cheese. Pepperonis were greasy, but in a real meat kind of way. I had to dab mine, but my husband just went to town on his. The pickled peppers is a pickled jalapeño. Big chunks of them. They certainly didn't skimp on any of the toppings. They were a little sweet and a little hot. Some of the big chunks were a little too sweet for my liking but overall, it was a nice flavor mix Also from a size standpoint, I thought the salad and pizza were very adequate for lunch at around $20 price point I asked for salt and pepper again as well as a side of ranch. This time we did get the salt and pepper as well as cheese and crushed red pepper. But we didn't get the ranch until we were leaving. The server did apologize and said he thought someone else was bringing it out but I pretty much deducted a star because we asked for a couple different things that never came. Overall, the service was super friendly, the ambience was nice for an outdoor lunch thought. I thought the menu looked delicious and there were several things I would like to come back and try and I would go back again.

It was so underwhelming. 2 eggs cooked differently, one over hard, one over easy, 5-6 potato pieces and the steak was thin, overcooked, and appeared to be a cheap cut of meat. A New York cut would have been great. Wife mentioned norms has better steak and eggs. But some shady charges or maybe we'll call it miscommunication just rubbed me the wrong way. I always order the mole chicken enchiladas and my wife (being vegetarian) asks for the same dish but if the enchiladas can be vegetable or cheese. Apparently this means a 8$ up charge? We've done this many times in the past and always been charged the same price for both. I asked the server at the end "the veggie version is 8$ more expensive than chicken?" And he just shrugged and said yes. Just found it interesting that a meat dish would be 8$ less than a purely cheese/veggie dish. Especially since done this in the past with no issue. I also asked for "hot sauce" for my dish. They brought out a spicier house salsa as the hot sauce...totally understandable and the salsa here is usually free. Apparently it's a 4$ "chipotle sauce" that the waiter did not inform me would be charged. I would've easily just said I want tapatio or no "hot sauce". I used maybe a teaspoon for 4$. I told the waiter this when we questioned the bill and he just shrugged. These may seem like small inconveniences but when they seem like they intentionally don't tell you the details and then when called out about it just kinda shrug it off, it was a disappointing end to an otherwise tasty dinner. We love it here and will certainly be back but it just sucks that I have to be extra cautious & skeptical when ordering from now on.
