It was bit disappointing, I ordered online, online it does not give you an estimate on what time the food will be ready. I took my time and arrived 40mins later after I had already ordered. The lady at the counter told me that she had just received my order and I would have to wait 15mins extra. So I did. They did not have a variety of drinks like they did online, they did not give me what I paid for, I called and the lady said rudely that she was going refund me my money and never did. My wife and me have been on a mission to find our pizza place.We started with Little Caesar's but we always got sick after we ate.We stayed with Fresh Five Pizza but now currently under new ownership & called Big O pizza.Prizes are high and pizza are not edible and unhealthy. First time here and from the recent reviews, I was hoping for the best. But... The printed menu at the restaurant showed $10 for 12 wings. When I paid, they charged me $12? If you're going to change the price on an item, make sure you change it on ALL your menus. When I got home, all I saw was 11 of the tiniest wings I've ever ordered. We called them and they offered us a free 6 piece wings the next time we come back. The pizzas are good. We liked the spongy dough and they did load it up with toppings. Order was quick and easy and prices were great. 15 minutes later our pizzas were ready. Opened them up and ate them up. Both pizzas were good. I wish they would give out plates or cheese. Parking is tough to find at this small business spot. There's only so many spots available to multiple businesses here. Waiting for your food for an in- person and over-the-phone order is about the same time. The place gets super busy. However, I've found that it's worth the wait as the pizza is second to none. Perfect amount of cheese and pepperoni, or any other time you want, and cooked just right. The buffalo wings do not disappoint as they're dipped in more than enough sauce. Pizza was so good that I decided to order again tonight, skipping the extras. Only issue is that we were quoted 1 to 1 1/2 hour delivery time (which is long IMO) but my family really wanted pizza tonight, so went ahead with the order - called to check on the status as it's past their quoted time and was told that it will be at least another 30 minutes, maybe more. We love this pizza spot. It is fresh and affordable. We like to get the large one topping special with 12 wings. If we're really hungry (and our pockets are full), we get the ribs and garlic bread too. The crust is chewy and not too thin or thick. The wings are delicious and doesn't taste like the frozen kind. I love the pizza sauce although it is a little bit on the sweet side. The ribs are really good and are even better than local restaurant chains. (Cough Chiles Cough) This place is in a little strip mall and parking sucks. We almost always order by phone for pick up. However, when we do- we usually have to ask people to move in the parking lot because they are just parked wherever they can (like in the middle of the lot or blocking) cause it's always full. If you're down to confront people about moving out of your way (no lie, some people in this neighborhood are RUDE AF) or illegally park in the handicap spot you should give this place a try. The PIZZA, wings, and RIBS are worth the ticket (if illegally parked)....Or the black eye if you can't fight/dodge. I ordered a couple of pizzas the other night and bit into a piece with metal in it. It was a piece that may have broke off some machinery. I almost cracked my tooth and really surprised I didnt. I get that this happens occasionally but i tried calling them about to let them know and didnt get a call back. Pizza is average. We have had it a couple of times and decided to get delivery tonight even though we live less than 2 miles away. We ordered a decent amount of food as we had people over. We were told 40 mins. Over an hour passed and we didn't hear anything so we called for an ETA. We were told it was in route. 45 more minutes passed and our food finally showed up. My husband just set everything down and paid. All of our food was very cold and there was an order of ribs with everything that we thought maybe they threw in for our wait. About 10 mins later the restaurant called us and said they accidentally gave us ribs and then 5 mins later the delivery guy showed up demanding payment for ribs we never ordered or even wanted. It took me trying a few different pizza places before finally finding this gem. The big win with pizza d' amore is their prices. Honestly, the prices are unbeatable with a large 3 topping costing less then $15 (this is with delivery costs included too). On top of the amazing prices the pizza food is delicious and the service is top notch. Once I ordered a pizza for delivery, got the wrong pizza delivered, called and it was fixed within 10 minutes. Pizza and other food is ready pretty quick, we are always quoted about 15/20 mins. I recommend picking up and the prices seem a bit cheaper. We've had the Mexican pizza, the combo, cheese, Hawaiian and double pep. We've also had their fettuccine alfredo and the spicy chicken pasta. Everything has been good. We have done delivery but id rather just pick up so it's quicker. They have desserts as well, my favorite has to be the cookies so far but they are $6 for 6.... still yummy though. read more

Today was the last straw. Gave this place another shot and the pizza is beyond salty. It seems the cook spilled an entire bucket of salt into the Alfredo sauce. Fire the cook!! Ordered same X large deluxe pizza with chorizo as always as an option when I order with doordash because it was an option to choose xtra topping on the app. Also wrote extra cheese instead of jalapeno if possible but no extra cheese and no jalapeño and no chorizo. So my pizza came out with out any chorizo and no jalapeno and no extra cheese so I called the store to complain and they just hung up on me when I was complaining. so called agian and was told to compalin to door dash about missing chorizo and keep telling me they gave me extra cheese when it wasn't at all. I've lived down the street from this place for four years and I finally decided to pop in and try it out. Man, was I surprised. I ordered a small pizza and when I got home I was shocked. For starters, it was under $8! Very reasonably priced and the ingredients were fresh. This wasn't a chain pizza place and it was very clear from the first bite. Not only is the food incredible, the cost very fair, but the service is top notch. When I went in tonight, I was greeted immediately by a woman who was fielding multiple calls at once while working to get the orders to the gentleman making the pizza. He greeted me from the back (with a smile) and welcomed me. As he prepared my pizza he asked if I needed any condiments as well as napkins or anything else. Now this all may sound very "expected" but I've found that it's hard to come by genuinely good customer service anymore. I'll be spending my money at this great establishment more often. read more
