do not eat here. the owner Claudia was texting on her phone on the empty dining room per usual. and walked into the kitchen to start eating my French fries with her dirty hands (not washed or wearing gloves) and then had the fries packaged for my to-go order. the pizza? second time a mistake. first time I caught it at the restaurant and the manager was a lady who was super nice and corrected it right away. second time was the same day of the fries situation. I didn't check my pizza bc I was too busy trying to explain to the Owen eating my fries with dirty hands was not health code appropriate. I called the restaurant to discuss this nicely and the male manager or owner got mad at me. super nasty. he said he's successful for 28 years. not because of this buisness. he clearly does illegal shit. I live in the area. that place is dead and quiet as a cemeter. he's not still there bc he's good at food or restaurant business. period. 28 years and 3.3 rating still going down. surviving is not thriving and now I know why. For this area that doesn't have many walkable options, this spot offers a lot of variety. The have pizza, pasta and health options. The service left a lot to be desired as the staff speak almost no English which made it difficult to place my order. The waitress started my order but didn't get everything correctly, then the owner came by and took the order all over again. Then the waitress came over to me and accused me of not paying. Why didn't the owner communicate to her staff. No one was in there so it's not like they were slammed. The spaghetti alfredo is flavorless, no seasoning on the chicken and the sauce tastes like it came from a jar. The small salad had maybe five leaves of lettuce then carrot, tomato etc. Waitress didn't understand what I was asking for when I asked for a fork and peppers. I love pizza dlight!! Awesome prices, good deals, and delicious food! The owner is so kind and helpful too. Their reward program has great incentives, and they have daily deals to choose from. I love their Stromboli and their chocolate cake. Great brunch as well! Indoor and outdoor seating, or take out or delivery. I've been going to this restaurant for several years even at their old address before they moved to the newer place. I love their New York style pizza. They he prices are just right although higher than what they used to be few years ago but still good pizza and good value. They also serve breakfast and they have lots of healthy smoothies and different plates and sandwiches. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff and the owner is very nice. Not only he did not grant it but he blamed me for his mistake agter I have oderrd the same pizza for 15 years. He was nasty and very unprofessional. 15 years did not mean anything to him. The garlic rolls were dry and tasteless and the bread was hard. The pizza was OK. The sauce is a little on the sweet side and the crust was a little thick and chewy. I asked for pepperoni and Italian sausage as you can see in the photo pepperoni is on top and the very little bit of Italian sausage that is there is under the cheese for a 12 inch pizza the toppings are $1.40 apiece. I think it's kind of expensive for what you get. I have had other dishes from pizza delight which I liked a lot more but I was really disappointed with this particular order hopefully it will get better read more

Update here - they are struggling with consistency - if you're ordering lunch you're ok as the owners are supervising but after the regular workday things may be different and they're not great at rectifying problems with the order. The bowls and salads are still good and pretty unique actually but we're not frequenting like we used to because of reliability issues. read more

It's dangerous how close Pizza D'Light is to my apartment... I was very hesitant to try this place but I am SO happy I did try it. Now I get the same XL pizza with mushrooms, olives and pesto every weekend. This pizza joint is very cute and they have pizzas, healthy options and some baked goods. I believe a 1 topping large pizza is around $10 to pick up. They also offer delivery, but like I said I live walking distance! Took exactly an hour to arrive. They're 5 minutes away. Food was cold. 8. Chef was negligent enough to put sauce on only half of my chicken wings. I ordered the baked wings not the baked chef... 9. Did I mention the fries? 10. Service was impatient and when I called to asked about my already 15 minute late order I was immediately put on hold. 11. My dining room still smells like rust. I read the reviews but figured why not give It a try and I figured i can't be too picky about where to eat at 2:30am on a Sunday. So, I placed my order for takeout and I was disappointed. The mozzarella sticks were rubbery and had a funny taste to them. The pizza quality was poor, although It looked fine when i picked It up. I would have to agree with previous reviewers that the ingredient quality is not up to par. I won't order from this place again. I love pizza and am usually understanding that pizza can be made a variety of ways and with various ingredients but this was just not good. That one was specifically only cheese for 2 members of my group and was the easiest of the 3 pizzas and was forgotten.
