I've always wanted to try the fugazza so we finally placed an online order at Banchero! It was ready right on the time and still hot! Super nice staff. We got the ham & cheese fugazza and I was soooo surprised with how good it is! It's basically like a stuffed pan pizza with ham, cheese and onions. But the flavor combo is 10/10. The onions are cooked so you're not getting any raw onion flavors so that's a plus. We also got a Caesar salad (balance out the unhealthy with healthy) but it was okay. I'd probably skip out on the salads and stick to the pizzas. The inside of the restaurant has a laid back casual bar vibe which is perfect after a day at the beach. Pizza was amazing. The ham and cheese fugazza is pretty much a thick pan pizza with a lot of onions. We love onions so it was perfect. The Caesar salad was ok. But service was easy and we ordered online and picked up within 30 mins. Location is right in Collins and 71st street. I was really looking forward to trying Banchero - their original location in Buenos Aires is iconic; unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. I visited with a party of 6, and we ordered two pizzas: the Supreme and the Cheese Fugazza. The Supreme flavor wouldn't have been my choice of preference. It was loaded with mozzarella, tomato sauce, sausage, ham, and smoked bacon - a bit too heavy for my taste. The fugazza, on the other hand, was much better, and definitely holds up this rating. The atmosphere was fine, it's a casual dining spot. The service while polite, wasn't very attentive. On top of that, the A/C seemed to be broken or just wasn't reaching our table, so I was uncomfortably hot the entire time. To make matters worse, the prices are far from budget friendly. With those elevated costs, I would expect the food and overall experience to be a lot better. read more

This is an update. Not only greasy, burnt on the bottom and very expensive. It was VERY greasy, and the MOST expensive pizza around. Furthermore , the pizza didn't taste good. None of us wanted to take the leftover home. That should tell you something. Wanting to try something different in Miami and we stumbled on this authentic Argentine pizza place!! After visiting Buenos Aires I couldn't forget the pizza and I was so happy to find this! We came on a Sunday evening around 8:30PM and to be honest it got busier as the night went on! I don't live far and I remember that corner restaurant used to be a Los Perros, but now it's an Argentinian Pizza spot. The physical restaurant definitely needs some maintenance, right next to the bathroom there is a bucket catching water dripping from the ceiling. I was with a friend and decided to split a pizza, looking through the menu I noticed that the pizzas are very expensive, unreasonably expensive. After looking at the price I thought the pizza should match its value - unfortunately it didn't. The pizza was actually tasty but it was covered in oil, I had used a napkin to remove the grease. My friend didn't like how the pizza bread was very thick, but personally I liked it, it reminded me of a deep dish pizza. However, it comes down to each individual's preferences. We know the place from Buenos Aires, but here is not the same taste. The fugazzeta (the most famous) was like without salt .. the onions and muzzarella were good but the base without taste.. we ordered meat milanesa with French fries, they came with chicken milanesa.. the bread came out as soon as we cut it for the kids! The best was the meat empanada .. $4.50 to expensive but it was great!!!
