Thank god I only ordered the spaghetti de jamón and a soda. This is the worst I've had out of the many Cuban joints close to me. First of all, the pasta was way overcooked. The sauce was more like a tomato broth because I had to literally drain the whole thing. It was swimming in tomato water which made the pasta even more mushy. But again, my mistake. I can only imagine what the pizza looks like, but I won't be finding out.

A lo cual yo respondí que debería de hablar con los dueños y arreglar eso. Una cosa es cobrar extra por un topping pero cobrarme extra por el queso por solo poner topping en MITAD de la pizza es una ridiculez. A la vez la manera en la que la persona de la caja trato de explicarme no fue la más adecuada. Se puso a la defensiva. Y para el colmo se demoraron 25 mins para darme 2 pizzas personales que en cualquier otro lugar están listas en 10 mins. These ladies are cooking some delicious stuff in that little cramped kitchen. I will try the pizza next time but those buttery pancitos with queso fundido or melted mozzarella in pomodoro sauce are to die for. The cheese pull was phenomenal. The breads are tasty enough by themselves. Now that linguini bologna was a pleasant surprise. Very flavorful, cooked to perfection and generous portion. Sauce so good I was cleaning the plate with a few breads I had left from the appetizer. Washed it all down with a refreshing and tasty home made lemonade. Service is top notch and they're very attentive and welcoming. I'd see this truck becoming a storefront in the future if they continue to put out delicious food combined with excellent service. My go-to's are the grilled chicken (10/10) and the vacafrita - equally good but the chicken is the better option. I've had the pizza, butter garlic rolls and mamey batidos as well and they don't disappoint. I also love that they leave the bottle of water. There's a least 3 of these Polo Norte stores in Miami Dade, I've only been to this particular spot several times and have only one complaint ...the service in the actual restaurant is not all that great, this place is always packed hence the good food. So I basically always order delivery from this place. They serve the best shakes here. They call them sueros... El Suero Chocolate is my absolute favorite... omg so yummy. Try the creamy cheesy soup with shredded ham called Crema Virginia. I also recommend to try "boniato relleno con tasajo" it's sweet potato filled with a delicious salty shredded beef, usually a daily special item that I havn't seen it on the actual menu. The vaca frita here is on point, fried shredded beef with grilled onions, I always have it with rice and black beans. My friends at work consistently order the shrimp pizza for lunch...
