Pizza was OK, but the service/process was horrible. After waiting 50 minutes for my pizza I found out that they just had it sitting behind the counter for 20+ minutes instead of bringing it out to me. I typically don't enjoy paying $20+ for a cold pizza. Also, we had pieces of plastic in our breadsticks (looked like bristles from a brush). Taking into account that it's in the middle of nowhere in central(?) California, it's really not that bad. Nope. All the staff were teenagers. They are used to have foreign people usually, it seemed because the cashiers were whispering and talking bout our bills between them and in front of us. On our last trip of the summer our family came to Three Rivers, CA to visit the Sequoia National Park! First of all Three Rivers is a really small town with few amenities. Our first morning breakfast at our hotel had us wishing for a Denny's! ( I hate Denny's!) We perused the other reviews of this hamlets restaurants for a decent place for dinner. If you've read the reviews of all the 3 Rivers restaurants up and down the 198 then you know the "Pickin's are Slim". Our standards suitably lowered, we settled on Pizza Factory for dinner. Their reviews seemed to be the best and the low reviews seemed to range from bad service from surly waitresses at the end of the evening to NY pizza snobs and people who've never experienced a true greasy spoon. Or people who order tuna sandwiches at pizza joints and are disappointed ( Seriously?) Long story short -- this is a competent pizza joint. We had a large pepperoni and sausage pizza with extra garlic and the small antipasto salad. The pizza was pretty decent. It could use a bit more tomato sauce, but it was very tasty after a day of walking around the Sequoias and driving down treacherous mountain roads! We've had better pizza. However, this is NOT the bottom of the pizza barrel. This pizza is competent. It tastes pretty much like is should taste. Maybe a bit more sauce, a bit more garlic, ... it tastes fine! This place was a pleasant surprise. The pizza is no more greasy than any pepperoni and sausage pizza should be. The staff was friendly and competent. The facility was clean and they were quick to clean up completely after customers left the table. We discovered as we left that we could have bussed our own tables. The staff didn't seem to balk at cleaning up everyone's mess! Another review has bad mouthed the antipasto salad, but our antipasto salad was quite tasty. Plenty of cheese and lunch meat, crisp lettuce and the Italian dressing was excellent -- salty savory and delicious. This was my favorite part of the meal. The restaurant has a salad bar. It looked a little scary, but plenty of other customers seemed to relish it. Generally, I don't like salad bars at all, but I saw some very good looking salads passing me by. I think if I were to go back, I'd definitely try the salad bar! We finished our pizza. Indulged ourselves in the free soda refills and left a nice tip for the "bus girl" This place is definitely on my list of places to return to. People need to understand though -- this IS a dive! It is completely informal -- an underfunded Shakey's. Don't expect CA Pizza Kitchen and you'll be fine. Prices are reasonable and service is reasonably speedy. My 9 year old was charmed by the old fashioned pizza dough throwing! So be warned. If you want a decent meal in this town. You can get one at the Pizza Factory. Alright, so my disclaimer behind my 4 star review is the following: DO NOT compare food in Three Rivers to elsewhere, especially if it's something like pizza. You're in a small, quiet tourist town. Selection will not be ample. So, it was 6pm on a Sunday, and not many places were open. We just wanted food, regardless of what kind. The Yelp reviews made this place sound like a hell hole. That was WAY out of line. The staff was nice, and the pizza itself is definitely not the best, but it's not atrocious. We ordered a small white pizza. The flavor was okay, and fine after a long hiking day. The beer selection was more than Coors and Bud, so i was impressed. The food itself is probably 3 star, but it makes up for it in dining ambiance and customer service. Just go get a pizza and suck it up; you'll be home to your favorite joint soon. read more

Pizza Factory is a great option in Three Rivers, about 10-15 mins from the south entrance of Sequoia National Park. Filled with locals on a Sunday night. The pizza was very fresh, no complaints at all. The large veggie pie was more than enough for four hungry people to share. Bonus points for giving me the free order of breadsticks (with Yelp check-in) even though the check-in wasn't working on my phone. Not a fan of the pizza. Too much dough (got a medium pizza, crust was over an inch long). Got a pepperoni, sausage, garlic and mushroom. Way too much oil on the pizza, literally pools of oil on top that . It seemed like a lot of oil came from our pepperoni topping. Pepperoni and sausage was a little too salty of a combo. Garlic was not noticable didn't really taste it. Looked like a quiet night in the restaurant but we still waited 20 min for our pizza, not that long but if they take phone orders but I'd recommend trying that. Too pricey for the quality I recommend the subway across the street. They have a little arcade that is pretty ghetto. 2005 Fast and the Furious was maybe the biggest name game there lol, old arcades but not the classic ones. A couple of machines out of order. My family goes up there often to have pizza and now they offer cauliflower pizza and since I'm doing keto it's so nice and I've had many different pizza place cauliflower crust and pizza factory in three rivers beats them all hands down and the people are so nice, it's just amazing to have wonderful pizza and wonderful pizza. Considering this is one of the handful of restaurants catering to the Sequoia tourists, they can dictate the prices and quality of food and service. It's sad that there's no competition cuz the customer suffers. The food was okay and the wait was decent. The place was crowded so my family decided to eat at the balcony at the back. I think the balcony needs some renovation cuz I can see and feel the unleveled floor. Also, the limited salad bar was only allowed one visit so I piled on the food. $8 for a salad! Visiting Sequoia National Park. The restaurant has a sign that on their door saying they are following Covid-19 precautions and maintain social distancing. NOT TRUE! The restaurant had customers standing on top of each other inside. Only 1 member of the staff had a mask on. I asked an employee if I could wait outside, she said yes. Gave her my name for the order and stood outside for 10 min. No one came out to me. Finally, went back in, waited in the line, people too close to me, very uncomfortable. Finally got to the counter and asked the woman why they weren't wearing masks? Over 100k Americans dead, more dying every day.... The food: bomb!! My boy friend and I are huge pizza fanatics and we loved their food! We got a cheese and a pepperoni pizza with garlic bread on the side the first night with a pitcher of beer. Totally hit the spot after a day in sequoia. We were super full and super satisfied! The second night I tried a calzone and seriously it was soo good and so big!! Even for an individual size. I couldn't finish it even though I really wanted to The service: whack!!!! Like some of the other reviewers were saying, it's all teenagers working there. The guys working there were really attentive, friendly, and funny. The girls were pretty standoff-ish. The girl who took our order the second night seriously stood there and stared at us when we walked up to the counter. No greeting or hello, just a stare, looked around, then asked "are you ready?" After a long day at sequoia, we stopped here starving. We ordered the meat lovers pizza. A little expensive but it was a pretty big pizza. They didn't skimp on the meat, and that resulted in a lot of grease. The pizza was incredibly greasy, like a whole pool of grease on the bottom of the pan. Maybe it's just the meat lover pizza that's like that. All the ingredients were pretty good. A little light on the sauce, maybe they could have had one or two more stars if it wasn't so greasy. The food is really good for the area, but the people working there are just the nicest and most accommodating people I have ever met. Next time we are on the river, we will make sure to take the kids back here and have a great family meal. P.S. The first strike against this place was that they ID you like airport security if you are using a credit card. What kind of business makes you show an ID when buying a $10 pizza? Second, the staff is a bunch of sullen teenagers that don't understand anything about customer service. The pizza was the worst pizza I have had in the last decade. It was tough, chewy and made with really low quality ingredients. To add insult to injury, they got our order wrong twice. The pasta was just as bad and was completely sitting in a cup of oil in the plate. The next night, we got a frozen pizza from the market next door and found it to be 1000% better than the pizza from this terrible chain. One of our favorite places to eat, we all agree and there's no argument from the kids!!! We drive 30 minutes to go to Todd's Pizza Factory in Three Rivers even though there's a pizza place 10 minutes away in woodlake. The food is 1000% better at Todd's and it's ran like a business should be. Friendly staff, good, hot and fresh food. We never feel like a " burden" when we order at Todd's... unlike the place in woodlake. Todd and his family run a quality business and it shows in the food, staff and restaurant cleanliness. read more

What a mess!!! This place was packed! People who are visiting Sequoia do not have many food options so all these places take a huge advantage of it. Very pricey for the quality presented but the worst is how disorganized it is. It's just a huge mess. You order and you get a number for your table...you can either seat inside or outside so you will have to keep your eyes and ears out for the waiters who have to scream your number while they walk around the whole restautant with the food in their hands. No one told us that after having to be in line to order we also should expect to wait more 45 min for the food. We ordered chicken wings and pizza and the pizza came out way before the wings. Horrible! It seemed that person taking the order did not know the menu well. I had ordered Fiesta Pizza, when they brought to the table it was cheese pizza with onions. I sent it back, after 10 mins they brought it with lettuce and tomatoes on it. My daughter had ordered Fettuccine Alfredo. The taste was awful. We didn't get pizza here so can't speak for that. However, the Tuna sandwich had almost nothing in it and ends up being quite expensive for just a roll of bread. The unlimited salad for 6 bucks was okay enough deal for the limited selection. It had some baby spinach leaves, old looking mushrooms no one touched, baby tomatoes, most likely canned beets (but still a nice addition), 2 pasta salads one which tastes good as its drenched in oil. No peppers of any kind, or artichokes, or any other usual salad bowl veggies, beans, peas etc. I would have gladly paid more for a great selection. However, I guess with a selection of only 3 open restaurants within three rivers, it being past 6, and no desire to drive more than a handful of miles past our hotel this was the best option. read more
