    Club sandwich so good
    Nancy B.

This place is right down the road from the river house we are staying that had their menu inside. Hands down best club sandwich I've had in a really long time. Can't wait to try one of the other selections too. Friendly staff and fast service they stay busy!

I felt so lucky finding this place after a trip to Sequoia. We weren't sure where to eat but this place had a packed parking lot and we thought that was a good sign. Indeed, it was a good sign. Can you have a favorite place even if you've only visited once?? We tried the Hollywood tremor (turkey and bacon on grilled ciabatta) and the bullseye (roast beef on grilled ciabatta) as well as the dilly potato salad. Everything was excellent. The potato salad was the perfect pairing with the sandwiches. I will be dreaming of this meal.

There is a reason this place has such high ratings....easily 5/5 stars across the board. The food was incredible. I ordered the Vegetarian Franko, and wow... it was so delicious. The flavors came together in the best way. The artichoke, pepperoncini, and Italian dressing complemented each other perfectly and made every bite exciting. I also tried the dilly red potato salad, which is honestly one of the top three potato salads I've ever had. Service was friendly and fast, which made the experience even better. The ambiance really put it over the top. We sat on the lower deck overlooking the river, and it felt magical, especially after a long day exploring Sequoia National Park. Highly, highly recommend trying one of Yelp's top restaurants here.

Came here hungry after a short hike in the Sequoias and it absolutely hit the spot! The Black Bear Grill sandwich was incredible--loaded with meat and cheese and grilled to perfection. We also tried the Avocado Caprese salad, which was amazing. It's a great veggie-forward option with fresh ingredients and pesto sauce that brought everything together perfectly. I seriously couldn't get enough of it. The setup is simple: order at the counter and wait for your number. We grabbed a table in the back right outside overlooking the river, and honestly, we didn't want to leave--it was such a relaxing and beautiful spot. This place is definitely going to become one of our go-to stops after hiking in the Sequoias!

This shop has been rated one of the top sandwich shops in the US on Yelp, and for good reason! The sandwiches are delicious, with various classic and unique flavors to choose from. I love the muffuletta and my husband loves the Hollywood Tremor. I also tried the Tom this visit and I enjoyed it, although I think there was too much sun-dried tomato which overpowered the flavor of the goat-cheese herb spread, which I was hoping to taste more of. The employees are very efficient and the owners are there working along with them often. There is seating inside, but the real draw is the beautiful patio in the back overlooking the river. This place is a must stop if you're in Three Rivers!

Good food. Good service. Amazing views! This local gem always has amazing flavor combinations. Brings nostalgia for the flavors and subs I grew up eating in LA. For today's meal, my wife and I deviated and tried their buffalo bill and bullseye sandwiches. The buffalo bill had perfectly grilled chicken with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and plenty of pesto. All on a warm and crunchy Kaiser roll. The bullseye didn't disappoint, it hit the mark. Just the right amount of beef, the right amount of horseradish with all the fresh veggies to go with it. Their soup was good, full of veggies and nicely cooked grains. Only complaint was the acidity of the soup did not complement the veggies well in my opinion. Otherwise a hearty soup for vegetarian and vegan folks. All in all, we'll be back to try new sandwiches and soups.

I received a call years ago from a friend who had seen a sub shop in Three Rivers was on a Yelp "top 100" list of places to eat. So, when Suzanne suggested getting a sandwich here, I was interested to see what was offered. We walked in at 11:20am and the place was already busy. Suzanne pointed to the "Special of the week" on the wall mounted menu. The "Southern Stinker" was intriguing. A few people in line ahead of us and four people behind the counter. We ordered two of those and a pomegranate lemonade. For a small town like Three Rivers to have such business on a Saturday was really surprising. The Candy store, sure. But a sandwich shop? Staff was friendly but focused. Serious about their work. We found a small table tucked into an alcove and waited for our number to be called. The pomegranate lemonade was just the right mix of sweet and tart. The sandwich was unbelievable. I don't have a sophisticated palate - yet was amazed at the flavors in this sandwich. Everything was distinctly detectable and blended beautifully. I could not refrain from remarking on the excellent flavor. The place was clean, with plenty of tables, outside dining as well. Sierra Subs and Salads deserves all their stars!

My family and I had a great experience at Sierra. We ordered the muffuletta and the franko. Both were amazing with high quality ingredients. The service was great and the food was prepared in a timely manner. We dined outback on the patio, it had a great view of the river. We can't stop talking about how good these sandwiches were!

Huge sandwiches and fairly priced. The reviews proved right and we very much enjoyed grabbing lunch here. Service was friendly and lots of seating to eat.

We were visiting Sequoia National Park and staying in Three Rivers, and I only wish we had found Sierra Subs & Salads on our first day--because I would've happily eaten here every single day. This place is such a hidden gem. The menu has an amazing selection for vegetarians, which is not always easy to find in small towns near national parks. I tried the Veg Tremor and it was hands-down my favorite--loaded with flavor, fresh ingredients, and just so satisfying. We also ordered the Veg Tom and a corn pasta salad, both of which were delicious and super fresh. The cherry on top? Their outdoor seating area--a peaceful little spot with a view of the river, surrounded by trees and the sounds of nature. It felt like the perfect post-hike reward or mid-day breather. Easily one of my favorite parts of the experience. If you're in Three Rivers, especially while visiting Sequoia, don't miss this place. It's casual, friendly, and the kind of local spot that makes a trip feel extra special.

Came here for an early dinner after finishing some hiking in Sequoia NP, and I had no idea it was ranked #2 sandwiches in the US by Yelp but that made me more excited to try it! Waited about 15 minutes at 3:45 PM on a Tuesday, service was fast and efficient. Picked up the Hollywood tremor - "Turkey, Bacon, Sun Dried Tomato, Chipotle Cream Cheese, Cheddar, Red Onion, and Spinach on Ciabatta". The sandwich was amazing, with the chipotle cream cheese adding a kick and the ciabatta adding the perfect crunch. The outdoor space is charming and there's a decent amount of seating inside as well.

Fantastic food and experience!…read more Tried on a whim after a day at Sequoia, not expecting too much after seeing the Yelp stars, but all expectations were blown out of the water. Staff were immediately welcoming, personable to talk with, patient, and helpful not just to us but all other guests around! We sat at one of the many outdoor patio tables, which made for exactly the relaxing mood we needed. The complimentary fresh chips and salsa were finished before the waiter returned to take our order. Both are clearly made fresh, with the chips being very visibly cut, fried, and seasoned and the salsa being refreshing and slightly spicy. The wet burrito supreme was filled with tender, juicy beef shreds and topped with a red sauce packed with flavor. The chicken and mole was a delightful surprise to see on the menu, and it blew our minds! The thigh, leg, and breast chunk were wonderfully tender but still firm enough to not just become part of the sauce, which was packed with flavor, smokiness, and richness. The beef flautas were admittedly a little hard and the weakest plate on the table, but it was compensated by the rice and beans being nicely seasoned and cooked to the perfect texture/consistency.

I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. I would visit again too.

We started by sharing the wedge salad. I am a blue cheese girl, and this blue cheese was BLUE CHEESE. Rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I could have happily made a meal out of that alone. We also ordered the calamari, which came with two dipping sauces. One was a sweet and sour-style nuoc cham sauce that was incredible. The other was a fresh, flavorful tartar sauce. The calamari itself was prepared perfectly--light, crispy, not oily at all, and cooked just right. For dinner, I had the pistachio-crusted salmon over vegetable quinoa. The salmon was excellent. The quinoa was good, but probably just not my personal style. My husband ordered the pork chop with polenta, and wow--both were fantastic. That polenta was especially memorable. We sat at a table in the bar area (that's our vibe), and we had the pleasure of being served by Orlando, a newer bartender. He was outstanding. From the moment we sat down, we felt welcomed and genuinely taken care of. He introduced us to a mezcal that complemented our meals perfectly and was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Top-notch customer service. This isn't an inexpensive everyday dinner spot, but the quality of the food, drinks, and service made it absolutely worth it. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back. If you haven't been to Braised lately, go check it out--and if you're lucky enough to have Orlando take care of you, you're in for a great evening.

It was Thursday evening, and the place was much busier than we expected. There was a pretty long line, and we waited about 20 minutes for our food, but once we took the first bite, we understood why so many people were there. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made to order. This definitely isn't your typical fast food, it feels like real homemade Greek cooking served from a food truck. Between the four of us, we ordered the Three Rivers Plate, the Smash Burger, and the Falafel Pita Sandwich, and every single meal was a hit. The only thing I wish was different is that the burger didn't come with fries or another side. That said, the burger itself was juicy, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly, so I really can't complain too much. If you're driving out of Sequoia National Park and looking for a great place to eat before heading home, don't skip this spot. Loved the chimichurri, sharpness of the pickled onions and you can never go wrong with using dutch crunch bread for any sandwich. The loaded gyro fries while looked amazing, were slightly underwhelming also for the $20 price tag. It did have solid flavors but barely any gyro meat unfortunately. Basically was a bunch of fries that also could've been crispier too. Luckily was able to go when there wasn't a big ole line so the wait wasn't too bad for food. I'm not 100% certain it was this or what caused it, but after eating our stomachs were a bit messed up for a bit and pretty sure it was eating here (Luckily nothing too crazy lol). I'd still recommend this spot when in the area as it did seem like a popular spot and better than a lot of other options in town.
