Not good enough to exchange for a more standard pie but if you're looking for one to "switch it up" this one will do it. The Meat Lovers was better in our mind. Not better than your standard cheese or Pepperoni but still good. Just flagging one thing, might not usually get called out - dont order their small Pizzas. Pay the couple extra bucks, get a pizza that's more normal size. Paying $40 for these two smalls which were smaller than most frozen Pizzas was jarring. Price wise, it was a little on the expensive size, even when considering the portion (which was moderately large but not outstanding). The flavors, though, were quite good. These rolls were crispier than I had expected. There were slightly charred bits of cheese on the ends, which I loved. Plus the extra little cheese on top always adds a nice touch. It's filled decently enough and you can taste the feta. Spinach tasted frozen, though. Dough was great - soft on the inside, fluffy, and a nice outer shell. I'm really surprised how great this place is. It's like a hidden gem I'd never paid attention to. They have an extensive menu but it's not too much. Some places have crazy menus that read like novels. It's nice to have a decent variety at a pizza shop. We had an Italian hoagie, gyro and fries. Really tasty with fresh ingredients. Specials are cheap and lots of food. There's a small dining area that's decorated with black and white framed prints, modern tables and chairs and nice flooring. Staff are super friendly. Mildly hole-in-the-wall feel concealing the many culinary delights offered by one of the most convenient junk food lunch stops in Pittsburgh's Garfield neighborhood. Has an overhead map of Italy as the sole decoration - which is odd because the staff here come from a variety of ethnic and national backgrounds, none of them Italian. That said, you can definitely hear a variety of accents and languages from the kitchen, a testament to the city of Pittsburgh's diversity. If you have traveled a lot, you might meet someone from a country you have been to behind the counter and have a chance to practice whatever rusty language skills you developed abroad. The people who work here are nice and incredibly patient, and some of the dishes are quite creative for an establishment that otherwise doesn't look like much. The seafood pizza is fun and can be ordered with potato wedges as a topping (highly recommend doing so) and the lunch specials are an amazing deal: if you do go for the weekday lunch specials, you can get the most bang for your buck out of a single pizza slice (which is quite large) with a side of fries and a beverage of your choice. read more

Okay, so where do I start???? I thought long and hard about leaving this review but concern over safety and health comes first nowadays. So here we go................... I had fiesta once before and it was good enough to try it again. I ordered online and went into pick up my hoagie. When I went in the first thing I noticed was that there were five employees working. Two of which had masks on the correct way and two that had masks on over their mouths but not the nose. I commented to the man helping me at the counter about that and he immediately defended his lack of any mask at all due to his asthma. Correct me if I'm wrong which I am not, if you have asthma you should be wearing a mask as a precaution for your safety. Here is one of the reasons I am writing this review..... HE IS THE GM OF THE STORE!!! A place where food is made and prepared and out in the open!!! The second reason is that the woman that started to prepare my food was one that had her nose exposed!!! I noticed and mentioned that to the GM. He did tell her to put her mask on. I then watched to my already confused and disgusted horror that she stopped touching my food and pushed her mask on but still left her nose exposed!!!!! But what was really nasty is that the gloves she had on went from my food to her mask back to my food!!!!!??????? I told him there was no way I was going to eat that!!! The GM was flustered and said he would make a new hoagie for me. I told him just forget it and give me a refund. He did apologize. But at that point it was a lot, not a little too late!!! So here are my legit concerns. If your leader has no mask and is not following CDC/government guidelines why should the employees??? No sanitizer of any sort at all for customers. The one pen out for customers was just that, ONE pen. It's safe to say that one pen has not and will not be sanitized for each use. I am not some freak about this Covid thing but really??? Come on pizza fiesta!!! Think twice about giving them your business based on this honest and factual review. If they don't follow simple and common sense health safety what makes you think they are washing their hands and always wearing gloves??? The owner should be appalled and if this is allowed then he or she may already know proper health procedures aren't being followed. It all starts at the top and you lead by example. I have been in the food industry for years and I know this to be a huge breach in food safety, CDC, OSHA, and the health department. It should be noted that the GM knows who I am as I signed up online with fiesta. So I am hopeful that the owner follows up before I call the health department. After hours of misfortune, this was the only place we found open at 8:00 on a Friday in COVID times. We ended up in Pittsburgh while traveling for job interviews and were not expecting every one of our recommended spots to be closed. Living a block from this shop, I ordered nearly every week the past few months for their reasonable prices, unique buffalo sauce, and complimentary breadsticks with every order 10 bucks and up. And up until now, it had been pretty great. Recently though, this place has taken a nosedive. Smaller portions, no more complimentary breadsticks, and horribly rude staff.
