Service was good. Pizza was very good. The gorgonzola and prosciutto flat bread was just OK. There was very little gorgonzola on it and the prosciutto was not crispy like we like it and the "caramelized" onions were just barely cooked thru. Now, despite good food, I'll tell you what warrants only 3 stars: The damn service charge. We essentially gave our server a 40% tip because we didn't read the "fine print" on the bill. If you are going to insisit on an extra BS charge to supplement the restaurant's income, you will loose in the long run. Because people like me will not be back. read more

There are so many reasons for which I love Melbourne, and Pizza Gallery is one of them. A friend of mine who is very familiar with the area recommended it. So if you're like me, not a local and presently at the beach, all you have to do is get on I95 going towards Jacksonville, and then take the Wickham exit towards the left and you'll see a huge outdoor mall (Viera Mall) that gives Waterford lakes twelve thousand kicks in the pants; THIS is an outdoor mall!.... Ok, I got a little excited, back to the food. Make sure you check in once you arrive because upon doing so you will receive a free order of garlic knots with any choice sauce. The popular one seems to be the Parmesan cheese sauce, and it is, really, really tasty. The portion is huge (see pic) so keep that in mind when you're looking over the menu. My friend and I were in a pizza mood so we opted for the Da Vinci pizza which is really like a deluxe with meats and veggies. It was almost identical to the pizza at Mellow Mushroom, that is the best way I can describe it so don't expect NY style, the crust is thick and loaded with toppings. The day that we were there (Saturday night) they had live music on the patio and it's a really nice view of the mall's fountain, the only thing you will have to be prepared for is the wait time on everything, especially since they were busy. Also, I found that the draft beer I ordered was bordering on room temperature, and I don't know if it was because it was sitting out for a while or just cause they don't serve it cold enough. I tried to come here for lunch today. I was there with my SERVICE ANIMAL. I went to the back bar, was handed menus. My service animal was laying down under my feet on his leash. I was then interrupted by the manger asking if my dog was service animal. I replied "yes he is." She then proceeded to ask my for documentation which is against the law according to ADA laws. I told her I had no type of documentation. She then told me, my dog and I can not sit inside but we could sit outside in over 100°! No other customers were choosing that and by every definition that is DISCRIMINATION. I told her we would rather leave. I have contacted multiple lawyers and the official ADA US Department of Justice. I wouldn't come here if you care about people with disabilities being mistreated and disrespected. I have come here multiple times and enjoyed the food but I will not be treated like that. ‍ props to the bartender who kept apologizing. With Yelp you get a free order of garlic knots with check in which worked out well since we wanted them and they were pretty fantastic, maybe the best garlic knots I've ever had. My brother and I were looking for another place that went out of business to have lunch and this was nearby so we decided to try it. My brother got pesto balsamic vinegar chicken? Or something like that. I got just a regular pizza with mozzarella and ricotta. There's a pretty extensive menu. Pizzas. Entrees. Sandwiches. Appetizers. Other than our server our experience was awesome! Our server went to other tables that sat after us even after the hostess walked up to her and pointed us out. She just waved at us and went on about her business. She seemed really confused when she spoke with us the few times she came over. When we wanted our check, we had to ask another server who told us that she was moved to a different section. Never saw our original server again. I wish I had cash on me to tip the server that took over. I felt bad. Super cool for kids! There's plenty of things to look at! The hostess gave her a piece of dough to play with and she LOVED it! We had an amazing experience here. It was our first time and the manager went out of her way to welcome us to the restaurant with a free appetizer. Also, since we came on a Wednesday, we were able to get some free meals for the kids with the purchases of an adult entree. Our waiter was the best waiter I have seen in the entire time I have lived in Florida. He was super friendly and helpful and just the nicest guy in the world. His caliber of service is not common in this day and age, and especially not in Brevard County! Besides the great service, the pizza was really good and the kids loved their food. We absolutely love the Pizza Gallery, they have plenty of parking as they are located in the Avenues shopping plaza. They also can accommodate those with Celiac Disease, such as those who cannot have any gluten or cross-contamination. As such, I opted to order the build your own pizza, gluten-free of course. It is amazing how they are able to get the crust nice and crispy and with flavor. It is very similar to a deep dish style. Unlike other pizza places that serve gluten-free pizzas, this pizza is very filling. Luckily you can have it any style that you like, but you still have the same crust. For this visit, I had pesto as my base, mozzarella cheese, garlic and pepperoni. It was very good. In addition, we had the gluten-free basil bread bites. Only order these if you're really hungry and willing to share. While these bites are full of flavor, four cheese and basil, it is filling, but worth it. Especially for a pizza enthusiast!! The food is good and the employees were friendly BUT upon arriving, there were multiple open tables yet we were told there was a 20-25 minute wait for a party of 6. I thought it might be a staffing issue but we noticed multiple servers standing around, hostesses standing around (both on their phones at times), and we realized it was not staffing. So we went to the bar that was wide open and waited. After ordering our drinks and apparently OVER tipping (more later), we asked why we could not sit at the high top in the bar area instead of waiting. Two or three people had to talk to other people and they said, sure, why not. Upon sitting down at the high top, thankfully we asked because the server began to explain their tipping procedures. Each check will automatically have a percentage added to cover tipping and the "general welfare" of the employees. There is a story the server will tell you, but the bartender did not thus my point in over-tipping, equated to 40% (+/-) as they never shared the story the server shared. Food was decent and people were nice but there are many other options and more coming. We have visited this place to eat since the mid-2000's but I can assure you, our money will go elsewhere and your money should too. read more

I will rate our server a 5! He was quick, handled our party of 9 well, attentive, and efficient. The 2 stars will be for the food. I got the Nashville hot chicken calzone. It was barely warm and overall was a weird combo, especially with the ricotta cheese. The cesar salad had a whole bottle of dressing on it. I hate making reviews where the food is subpar because it just sounds like I am griping. I did not mention food quality to the server because I am not that type of customer. I am only visiting this early but I can guarantee there are other pizza places around here that are better. If you do go to pizza gallery, go on monday night. I love this place!! The servers are super efficient and kind. Dropped in for lunch today and since it was only be I opted for lunch 'pick 2'. Sadly it doesn't include pizza. I got fettuccini with chicken. Had a couple bites but just didn't taste great thankfully my #2 was tomato basil soup and it was delicious and hearty enough to hold me til dinner;). Family was in town decided to give this place a try. We sat waiting forever for our food while other patrons arrived got their food ate and left. We watched our food sit in the window. Needless to say our food was stone cold when it arrived to our table. They took it back and pretty much stuck it in the microwave. This is a fun place. We were in a bit of a rush so I ordered a Hawaiian. However, you can build your own pizza. Our waiter was so friendly and the other one was very helpful and attentive as well. Food was ok but tomato topping on pizza consisted of one razor thin slice of tomato cut in four pieces. We paid separately with server taking our credit cards and charge slip contained in a book. Server returned with charge slips to be signed but no book and no credit cards. We didn't notice our cards were not returned for a few days. Office didn't attempt to contact us. When I called I was told they were too busy to look and see if my card was in the office. We won't be back. Their old restaurant was not good and this one isn't any better. read more

Really love the choices here, covering a range of dietary requirements including vegan options, gluten free crusts, and even keto/paleo friendly options. I've recently had to go dairy free and I was SO happy to see that you can sub vegan mozzarella on your pizza! I had an 8-inch pepperoni with the vegan cheese and it was delicious! I was disappointed with the nasty behavior of an "owner" while dining in today. The "owner" was dining at the next table having a very loud conversation on speaker. I love the artsy vibe (you can buy all the art) and the fact that if you check in on Yelp you get a free order of garlic knots, and boy do I like my garlic. There are tons of options to build your own pizza (you can even go crustless or have it on a mushroom!) but I ended up with the goat cheese calzone and boy, it did not disappoint.
