This location is very easy to get to with ample parking and a light right there so get you back on US1. The inside is very welcoming, and the staff were attentive. I had the half turkey sub and Greek salad from the reasonably priced lunch menu. Most people would think there wasn't enough turkey on the turkey sub, but for me, it was just enough with nice fresh lettuce and tomato. The sub roll was nicely toasted. The Greek salad I would not really call "Greek." It's basically an iceberg lettuce salad with some feta on it. There is a bottle of homemade dressing on the table for guests to use as needed to dress salads and sandwiches. Hopefully, these are cleaned regularly because the outside of the bottle was a little greasy. My companion had the lunch spaghetti with meat sauce and Greek salad. It included a few pieces of garlic bread, and she said it tasted okay, not great, but okay. The sauce was a little bland. I gave this an "okay" rating because that is what it felt to us both, okay food but nothing amazing. I can imagine they get some good lunch business (we were there later in the afternoon) because you can get a decent meal at a very decent price. We both had leftovers, and our total bill (not including tip) was about $25. If we are in the area again, we might try it again. read more

Kelsey's - the way it ought to be... I've now been to all but one of the Kelsey's in Brevard county, and this one has to be my new favorite. Located in the southern most strip mall on US1 in Rockledge, it's small but the experience packs a nice, big punch. I really like how the place is decorated, it adds to the chill ambiance the place has and it doesn't hurt they're playing 80s either... The food is as good as any Kelsey's I've been too, if not better. They offer the best calzones I have had anywhere (and I have had calzones from coast to coast) - massive, stuffed full, and it comes out piping hot. Their salad for two is more like a salad for four or five, and the garlic bread with cheese we added to order arrived with a nice touch of marinara sauce for dipping. Truly loved it. Service was so friendly, I wish I could remember the waitress' name, she was literally on the spot when it came to keeping our drinks filled and bringing us doggie bags and such. We enjoy Kelsey's pizza and calzones. The tomato sauce is always fresh and delicious. The employees are always so friendly. The otter day my husband went to pick up our pizza order. They told him his pizza got a bit burnt so they actually offered us a free pizza plus a free dessert which was the best Tiramisu I've had before. Kelsey's is a great neighborhood restaurant, and a wonderful asset to our community. Highly recommend. Great salads too! read more

Kelsey's Pizzeria, 1954 U.S. 1 Rockledge, Florida 32955- 1-Star (Chain Restaurant Rating) The original Kelsey's Pizzeria & Eatery was founded in 1983 in Titusville by a local guy, Nick, as a small local family business. Having considerable success, he franchised a few other Kelsey's throughout North Brevard. This particular franchisee on US-1 in Rockledge has a second on North Courteney Parkway in Merritt Island according to its website. Additionally, you can find a couple of other Kelsey's in Port St. John, and Cape Canaveral, if you are so inclined to check them out. Assuming they are like this one, I'm not. How many different boxes of pasta and pizza dough exist through purveyors? Countless, I'm sure. It's always the same. Most likely the least expensive. Hence the reason Italian restaurants become more and more tedious. No one makes their own dough and lets it rise overnight anymore. I don't care what anyone tells you. Fresh homemade risen dough would cut into the margin, meanwhile pizza remains the highest profit food item in the world next to bottled water. Many a stoner and those among the zaftig couch-potato set will tell you that all pizza is good pizza as long as it's smothered in cheese and pepperoni and delivered to their face. Not for this guy. At the Rockledge location, we were met by a pleasant server named Hayley who got all my inside comments. Something I often find lacking in a waiter. As usual, however, despite a direct request to box up my leftovers, she declined. So, I asked her who typically boxes up the take-out orders. She confessed, well...her. Yeah. Not the greatest of all time. The menu here was not diverse, just your typical Americanized pseudo-Italian fare. I ordered my baseline Fettuccine Alfredo, my point of comparison for evaluating the level of any ristorante's pasta game. Kelsey's fettuccine compared poorly. It literally had zero taste. Not even the creamy taste typically associated with Alfredo sauce. Alfredo di Lelio, owner of Alfredo on Via della Scrofa in Rome, who lovingly invented this dish of fresh-egg fettuccine with butter and parmesan--Fettuccine all'Alfredo--to nourish his pregnant wife in 1907, would be rolling in his grave. My second choice from the menu was a meat calzone with sausage, pepperoni, and ham. It was a dismal wreck of food. The calzone bread was the Sysco pre-rolled ball one thaws out and massages. The ingredients would have to have been stepped up to even be considered crappy. The Big Boy says, "Between ugh service and low-grade ingredients there are SO many better pizza options in Brevard. Kelsey's pizza and Italian food is a pretty good local spot for some good food. We mostly do take out, and the service is very quick.

The food was excellent. My husband and I shared the Greek salad for 2 and had enough left over to take home and share again for dinner with an entree. My friends both had the Italian sub (one with soup and the other with a Greek salad) and both said they were very impressed with their food. My granddaughter had a slice of pizza and said it was delicious. The service was great and overall we were very impressed with how quickly we were served and regularly checked on to see if there was anything more we needed. The restaurant is set in a small shopping center and we didn't expect much but were pleased with the decor and ambiance. We will definitely be dining at this Kelsey's Pizza in Rockledge again. read more

Pizza wasn't good. To make things worse they only put on 5 pieces of pepperoni on a large pizza. The waitress was very nice but kept forgetting the things we asked for and even took care of a walk in while we waited. One more thing. Went for lunch with my daughter from California. They messed up our pizza order. Ask for pepperoni on only half and it came with green pepper on only half. They offered to make it up. We declined. My biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the place. The floors hadn't been swept in a long time. Only one other couple in the place and effort was made to clean up any. Visiting family and they insisted we try their favorite pizza place. We piled in the car and drove the 20 minutes from their house. The drive is worth it! What a great pizza place- lots of other things to choose from but the pizza was the way to go for our hungry crowd. We also enjoyed the mini salads. Be sure to try the house dressing. We arrived for lunch at 12:10 PM. We were seated immediately. It took 15 minutes to get drinks, 12:26 PM we got drinks and placed our order from the express lunch menu. 12:55 PM no food and no refills on drinks. 3 tables that came in after us ate and left. We had to get back for a meeting by 1:15 PM. We mentioned this when we walked in. We ended up having to pack everything to go and eat during our meeting. It took an hour. The person I spoke to just said sorry I'm only the hostess I can't do anything. So no manager on duty during lunch. Express lunch is a joke. What a horrible experience and an embarrassment to have to eat during the meeting when given ample time to get a slice of pizza and salad. Our meeting had over 100 people and everyone else who went to other local restaurants were back and had eaten lunch no problem. There were 5 of us that went to Kelsey's and that was too many for this establishment. The restaurant wasn't full and there were 3 wait staff. The salads weren't even correct. We all had the Greek salad and instead of Greek of olives, it was covered in black olives. It was a stressful lunch. Skip this place for lunch. read more

This place was just nasty! We walked into the restaurant and the place just smelled like a dirty mop. Everything just looked dirty. My husband went to the bathroom and came back and said that the bathroom was gross and smelled terrible. We were not impressed with the pizza either. I can't even imagine what the kitchen looks like. The dinners are very tasty and huge! Ordered Fettuccini Alfredo for takeout And it was very good! I have had other dinners as well and they're always good with a huge salad!
