A friend recommended Pizza Guys, and you know I'm always up for trying a good pizza spot. We were leaving the park and decided to place an order. They told me it would be about a 30-minute wait. It's Friday, so okay -- understandable. It was about a 25-minute drive for me, so I figured by the time I got there, maybe I'd only wait another 5 minutes max. I even drove a little slower to help line up the timing. When I arrived, instead of simply updating me on my order, the employee immediately started telling me a story about the delivery driver. Respectfully, I was there for pickup, so I politely tried to move the conversation along to figure out what was going on with my order. That's when he told me my pizza hadn't even been started yet. Then he asked if there was another sauce I'd be interested in because they ran out of marinara. Absolutely not. My issue is: why ask for my phone number if you're not going to use it to communicate important updates to your customer? You could've easily called and said the order was delayed or that you ran out of ingredients before I drove 30 minutes for nothing. It felt incredibly inconsiderate and like a complete waste of my time. I ended up having to search for another pizza place altogether. I ordered from here for the first time tonight and it was great! The pizza was good and they did not skimp on the toppings. I don't usually eat the crust but theirs was really good. My review is for a takeout order through Yelp! Note, this place is delivery or takeout only. We ordered the Pizza Guys combo. If you like combination pizzas, this one is a winner! The toppings are fresh, and portions are generous. We ordered a medium and had two slices each and were stuffed! If you like minimal toppings, then this probably isn't the place for you. We also got the cheezee garlic bread, which was super cheesy with not so much garlic. I was expecting a few pieces of bread, but it's actually a medium cheese pizza made extra cheesy. The garlic was lacking, so there's definitely opportunity there. It'd be great to see them serve lunch slices during the lunch hour! read more

1st time going to Pizza Guys. Ordered 2 med with a cpn. Quick easy online ordering. Good assortment of toppings. Pizza was done right on time. Hot and cooked well. They didn't skimp on toppings at all. Actually had mushrooms all over it, which is rare for most pizza places. Only wish they would improve: Sauce could be more flavorful App you can not divide the pizza..no place to put 1/2 cheese, which is a bummer. Lots of us are lactose intolerant and need to adjust this. Had the opportunity to stop by and try Pizza Guys last week - I got the Garlic Stuffed Crust Pizza with Crispy Cup (?) pepperonis and it was delicious. Pizza was ready in 15-20 minutes upon placing my order and came with a 2L soda and I order a sauce on the side. Don't expect them to fix their own mistake. I will never go here again. Ordered a simple two item pizza - pepperoni and olive. They left off the olives. Picked it up and when I got home I discovered the error. Called the store to ask how they would correct the error. The employee on the phone kept putting me on hold to ask the manager. Finally, the employee said there's nothing they can do, no discount or offer to make a new pizza. That is an unsatisfactory response. So I asked to speak to the owner or manager, which was the same older guy I met when I was there to pick up. The employee wouldn't let me speak to him. She just said sorry but he's unavailable. Honestly I felt sorry for her because I knew she was caught in the middle since I'm 100% sure he was telling her to lie to me. I drove back to the store with the pizza and demanded a refund which I promptly got, from the same owner/manager who wouldn't take my call. What a coward! I hope the employees there realize how shady their boss is and look for better work elsewhere. read more

Typical conveyor belt pizza. Been here twice, both times the pizzas were undercooked.. raw dough under the cheese. Conveyor belt pizza ovens don't hold heat well when pizzas are stuffed in them back to back during busy hours. Now I know why the pizzas were ready surprisingly fast. We've had only excellent experiences with the staff at the Rancho del Oro location of Pizza Guys. They have always been super helpful and nice. They have a gluten-free crust, and we usually get one of those along with an additional pizza, and we've never had an issue with the quality of the pizza.
