The worst service I have ever had the 12 years I have ordered this pizza. I ordered for delivery, at 12pm on a Saturday, a double extra cheese on thick crust and what I got was burnt pizza with no extra cheese but was lied to and told that it was double extra cheese. I brought the pizza back in to show them because over the phone I obviously couldn't prove it. So I said make my pizza so when I get there with the burnt one it's ready. (Probably the reason I'm writing this review, pizza guy ego) Once I drove to the store showed him the burnt crust he claimed that's how all the pizzas come out. THAT WAS A DAMN LIE! Pizza Guys has great pizzas, but there on line ordering sucks. 45 minutes trying to place an order for their website. I was never able to complete the order on line. Frustrated I called the store. They took the order over the phone but said they can't give me the special because i have to do it on line. The site kept timing out before I can add to the cart. The lady said she would start my pizzas anyway. I continued trying to place the order on line. It still didn't work. I showed up at store n she didn't make the pizzas like she said she would, in case I didn't show up. So does this mean anytime an order is called in, it won't be made in case you don't show up???? Needless to say, I was not able to get the specials on line & had to order 3 pizzas instead of 4. She told me it would be 15-20 minutes so I went to Starbucks. When I got back to pick up pizzas- they weren't done. Only one was done n laced in oven. I still had to continue waiting. She kept saying she was the only one working.... I was over an hour late to feed a group of people because of this.... I get that things happen, not a perfect world. Why in the world would a business only have one person working on a Saturday? Some of the recipes are amazing but some of them are plain crap. Probably it all depends on the person making it and the day of the week, as all three occasions we went in the crew was different. The base was perfectly cooked but the ingredients were tasteless specifically the chicken pesto one, but garlic chicken was amazing and their bread sticks were just ok. We got take-out all the time so can't really comment on their delivery but once in my neighborhood a pizza guys delivery dude had an empty house as delivery address and he couldn't get it corrected from the person who took the order for almost like 20 min. Important : U get an ice cream or 2l soda if you order over 18$ so please do get it, the sales guy won't tell u. read more

Ok..... bad news.... the pizza was so greasy when we got it I actually called them to come pick THEIR DELIVERY BACK UP!!! I should have taken a picture.... the grease from the pepperoni pizza was soaked through the crust into the box!! The Taco side was foul. The 4 stars were for the Hawaiian side. I'll explain.. So you may ask yourself "why would you say that, Mr. Drifter? Why are you such a hater?" Well do you want me to lie or do you want me to tell the truth? The Truth: For one thing, it didn't taste anything like any taco I ever had, nor did it even taste mexican. It tasted like bitter lettuce with tasteless old freezer burned ground beef sprinkled unevenly with a little bit of stale, 5 year old generic chili powder. It was so gross that I felt it necessary to immediately eject it from my window on to the side of the freeway where it probably still lies, like roadkill. The lettuce was so bitter that it overwhelmed all other flavors, which weren't all that that good either. So, you may ask yourself "how does lettuce get so bitter, Mr. Drifter?" I'll tell you how. It comes from not washing the pesticides and biofilm from the Roundup ready leaves. Glyphosate tastes bitter. To be fair, it IS possible for lettuce and carrots to uptake Roundup from treated soil 10 years after the soil was treated. Whatever the case, please taste the ingredients you use every now and then. I had been to a Pizza Guys years ago in Modesto, where I was not super impressed. I felt like the quality of the pizza didn't match the high price. Decided to give Tracy's Pizza Guys a chance after receiving a flyer with some specials. Pros: The workers were nice on the phone, and also when picking up food. Pizzas had a decent amount of toppings (moderate). Pizza was not dry and tasted OK. They give you a small ice cream or some bottled soda when you spend more than $20 and pick up your order. Cons: We had pepperoni & olive and ham & pineapple. The crust was overly chewy - similar to a microwaved piece of bread that's sat a while. Every bite was tough and took some major "jaw work" to chew. (Not sure how we'll be able to eat the leftovers. We'll probably have to cut each bite ahead of time. Microwaving may make it so tough, it will be inedible.) Crust was too lightweight, so you have to eat more pieces to feel full. Crust was thin and somewhat gummy. Will I go there again, even with a deal? I'd choose frozen store-bought pizza over this. Poor value for the money. Product quality just isn't there. I asked my son this morning what he thought of last night's dinner. "It was like cardboard with yeast on it. Think about that." read more

They gave me the wrong kind of pizza and the wrong kind of crust plus I got charged a delivery fee when I picked it up myself. These people are absolute crooks. I had a babysitter watching my kids last night, I gave her money to order from these scam artists. When I got home from work she told me that since we live in Mountain House the delivery driver told her that "since it was such a long way (never an issue before/ never said they didnt deliver) she was required to reimburse him for his gas" I was absolutely shocked. I immediately called this place to find out what happened. I spoke with a manager that said he would call the driver and call me back.... which he didnt! After that I reviewed my front door camera just to make sure that it wasnt a misinterpretation, sure enough he said exactly that "Since it was such a long drive she was RESPONSIBLE for reimbursing his gas". I called again today because like i said there was no return call (great customer service) the manager tells me she was expecting my call, she told me that "Their driver has been with them for 3+ years and has never had an issue like this before and they are reimbursed through the delivery charge." Once she found out that there was video/audio her demeanor changed.. She said the only way she will do anything about it is if I turn over my footage to her. (probably so they can destroy it) Personally I feel like because it was a woman at home by herself she was taken advantage of, being that I have ordered quite a few times and never told of any thing close to that. Its people like this that make these great businesses lose loyal customers. Dont get me wrong the Pizza is good, but I dont feel comfortable trusting that the policies and procedures would be upheld if my wife/sister/mother ordered from here. Wow. Pretty impressed. Order delivery from here a couple of weeks ago and again tonight. Both times the pizza is really good and the cost is great. Lots of cheese and topping. Only gripe is it's more on the greasy side then most. But it's still really yummy pizza. Used the yelp coupon and got a garlic bread for free!! My husband is due hard round table man. And he agrees Pizza Guys is our new go to pizza place. read more

Finally, after over 2 hours, order was delivered - and it was COLD !!! I would not order delivery from this establishment ever again!!. Terrible experience. One of the worst services I've ever experienced. I always order take out since I'm in the area after school. I always thought, according to their sign on the door and flyers they have posted that if you pick up you get a free 2 liter or ice cream. It's always when the lady works the front, I think she's the owner, she never lets me get the free drink or ice cream. Her excuse is, since we got a discount on the pizza, we can't get anything free! I brought it up to her about the sign posted and she said, oh that's only if you buy pizza full price. Then, don't have the sign up to promote pick up if you can't acknowledge it. Another time I had issues with this place was they got my order mixed up with someone else's. I used a coupon code online for BOGO. My son picks up the pizza and they hand him the wrong order. I check the receipt and I got charged for 2 pizzas. I talk to the lady, again the owner on the phone and she says since I didn't pick up my order I have to pay the full price for someone else's order. I told her isn't it up to the employees to check the orders instead of handing any customer another persons order. She said well since you didn't pick up you pay full price. I live in Alameda and my mom and brother live in Tracy. I wanted to pick up lunch for us before arriving to their place without having to wait for it to be made. I ordered on the pizzaguy.com website the night before for a pick up at 11:00 am. I was running a little late and unsure of traffic so called them up and told them to change the pick up time for Noon. I spoke with Justin who said that it would be no problem. I got there about 10 min till Noon and they were just putting the sauce on the pizzas. Justin walked up to the counter and when I told him who I was, he mentioned that I was early and the 2 pizzas on the counter being made were mine. He said they would be ready in about 15 min. I told him no problem since I did get there earlier than I thought. I actually like that they were not made earlier and just sitting in the boxes waiting for me. I really appreciate that they were made closer to my estimated arrival time so they would be fresh. Got them within the estimated 15 min and started to walk out. Justin reminded me to get my free 2 liter of soda before leaving, with pick up you get a free 2 liter of your choice. They always seem busy. the drivers always looking like they are being rushed to the next trip. i feel bad for the guys. had a conversation with one of em. said they do not get tipped often. I think the 3 dollar delivery charge is a damn scam though. they take the money from me and do not give it to the driver. just extra money out of my pocket. food is fair. gets greasy if i put too much meat on it. I like to go with ham and pineapple. always taste good. Manager, Justin is really nice, always showing a smile when i do come in. (I order online since the person answering the phone can never hear you or puts you on hold so many times your order is bound to be wrong.) You'd think a computer print out would make it easy to see what you are ordering .. apparently not .. no one seems to know what "GARLIC Sauce" is ... I've ordered this about a 6 times and only twice was it right!!! The manager is no help, it's either they will bring you another pizza (an hr later) or they will credit your next pizza (only if you call in). After this time I've decided enough is enough ... they've lost my business and for Tracy that's a lot since we order at least once a week!! This place used to be great. The couple who owned it sold the place to people that have no clue about cleanness or being sanitary. Last time I walked in for a pick up saw multiple people touch money then go on to make a pizza without washing there hands. No kind of hair nets or gloves are to be found or worn. Quality is trash. My family and I have gone to this location serval times with no problem before. Then tonight happened and probably won't be going back, took over 30-40 mins over the pick up time. Wasn't the worse of it though as there was a long piece of hair cooked within the pizza. Best pizza joint in town (haven't tried Blaze yet). This place is affordable and delicious, I always order online we get the veggie or the combo w/ extra cheese and it's always perfect. We've tried Papa Johns & Pizza Hut here in town & both were a huge disappointment skimpy toppings with barely any cheese (you can't even taste the cheese or the sauce). Never again. I just moved to Tracy, CA. I have been a Pizza Guys patron for years in my hometown. NEVER have I had a problem ordering or using a coupon over the phone. Tonight I attempted to order a pizza on special (which is on special on the Pizza Guys website) and I was told I would need to bring in a physical coupon. A snapshot on my phone would not work. I used to go to Pizza Guys years ago, it was one of my favorite pizza restaurants. Then they changed the menu and I didn't like it so much any more. Today I tghought I'd give them a shot. Well... a lot of things changed. I used to get a large pizza with any toppings for $11.99 and get a free 2 liter soda or free ice cream. Today I got a small pizza with fewer toppins and a 6pc. wings for $22. The soda or ice cream now only comes if you spend more than $20.00 Well... the pizza looked small so did the wings. Not a lot of food for that much money. On the plus side: the guy put a lot of toppings on our pizza and it was really good. The wings were small but tasty. Ordered on Sunday evening 10/11/15. I tried to order through Yelp app which says you're ordering through eat 24. Eat24 is not accurate because Pizza guys does not have the 2 for 20 deal anymore it is now 2 for 22. Still not a bad deal. You still get your choice of a free soda or ice cream as long as you choose the takeout option. When I called and ordered over the phone they did tell me that they were having problems ordering pizza online. I would have given 5 stars but their soda selection was very minimal it could have been that they did not have a chance to stock. Very friendly staff - and they looked like they were having a good time working. Playing music and enjoying their night, even while working on a Friday. Most places you go the kids working are grumpy and look like they don't want to be there. We had never been and they answered all of our questions and even threw in some extras just to be nice.
