Pizza Hotline needs to open a Waldorf location. I have to drive to Charlotte Hall or Laplata to get a Taco Pizza.

I've been to Pizza Hotline a feq times now and really enjoy their pizza. I've only done carryout, so cannot comment on delivery. I think they are a bit overpriced, but they frequently offer coupons and on line discounts which offset the cost. Service can be meh. They seem to be focused on production more than the customer experience. It may be due to being so busy during lunch that they're just too busy. I do reccomend them. read more

Pizza Hotline of La Plata is my go to place in La Plata to grab a pie on a Friday night. You can certainly discern the difference between this place and the corporate franchises. 9 out of 10 times (everybody has an off night) they are spot on with making quality pizza. The crew that works to prepare their food seem to genuinely enjoy themselves which translates nicely into the final product. Keep up the good work. 22 April 2018. Been ordering from this Pizza Hotline for years, and I've loved it! As far as delivery- it's never exceeded the actual time estimated at all and has always been hot, fresh and great. I've had one problem one time with my order and the store fixed it right away and had their delivery driver bring it right back to me! Take out- since we moved somewhere where NOTHING delivers, I usually stop in here to get dinner when I want take out. It's the quickest and the best, whether I'm in the mood for pizza or salad I'm always in & out in under 10-15 minutes. read more

Best pizza in the area by far. In fact, all the food I've had from pizza hotline has been absolutely delicious! Calzones, lasagna and the home loaves are so yummy!!! Love this place. Worst customer service. I had ordered online and they called me to let me know they don't deliver to my house. I had used a $10 gift card I just received from a church auction along with my credit card and now they will not return my money on my gift card. They are claiming there was not $10 on the card to begin with and I must have used it somewhere else. What!? read more

Worst pizza place in La Plata I ordered two small pizzas and a order of chicken tenders with fries But when I got there the guy acted like he didn't even have my order then finally he found charge me $28 when I called it in I was told 20 mins and I gave them 30 mins and I had to wait another 5 mins. And then order comes out I thought I was going crazy! I looked down and they were in these little white square boxes! I told him that's not my order I ordered two small pizzas he said that is our small lol lol I said No way that's not big enough for a kids pizza and you get bigger at Pizza Hut on there Personal size pizzas he told sorry mama inflation! I said well you can take your inflation pizzas and give me my money back! If I had taken that home to hubby he would of said where you go to Kids pizza place! Pizza Hotline has a lot going for it. The food is always delicious and the staff is friendly. They have secret special deals that you should ask about. Pizza Hotline uses a legit pizza oven that torches the crust. Toppings are fresh and plentiful. The Greek pizza is my go-to. Subs and salads are huge and solid. However, the very best thing about Pizza Hotline that sets is apart from all other restaurants is that it is literally across the street from the courthouse. I am a frequent customer of pizza hotline and always leave happy with my pizza in hand. So it's needless to say I was sorely disappointed with my last visit. I called in my order as usual, and said "thanks" at the end of the call, but the employee just hung up on me like it was just too much for her to show some common curtsey to say something back, let alone show some actual customer service skills. Then went in pick it up. Three or four employees were just standing around. Two were leaning over the counter and one was texting. They seemed to not even notice I was there. I wasn't acknowledged at all. Then one woman came over and said "can I help you?" in a tone that suggested I was just a bother by interrupting her oh-so-important conversation. WTH? You're there to serve food, not hang-out! I told her I had a take-out order and she told me lifelessly how much it cost. I mean, do you want the job or not? I paid with a card and she took it then gave it back. I was about to leave with my food then she angrily "Can you sign this for me?" She proceeded to walk about 2 steps away (as if she was out of my hearing range), and remark to her co-"workers": "God, Ready To GO" in reference to me. After signing the receipt, I got the hell out of there. It was so unfriendly! She didn't say "Thank-you", "Have a Nice Day", or anything. Gosh Pizza Hotline, I really like your food, but you need to realize no one wants to feel like there a burden to eat it! Please teach your employees some basic customer service skills, as without customers, you'd go out of business. It's just a shame that customer service has declined so much. Pizza Hotline is great for takeout in La Plata. The mozzarella is fresh and stringy, the sausages are huge (the size of pepperoni!). Price is a bit high, but when we can afford it, this is our family's choice. Very good pizza. read more

Since we have moved here, no carry out service delivers to our neighborhood so we called Pizza Hotline (La Plata) I called and they said they do not deliver and I could meet them somewhere for the food. I prefer their pizza to several of the other places in the area, but I just wish it was closer to my town, I don't get many oppurtunities to go. I saw another review where someone mentioned their pizza was a little underdone. From my experience that's true, but I tend to like my pizza a little underdone for thin crust (not raw mind you), so if you don't like that style you should order it well done. read more

They delivered to us twice and the next time I tried to place a delivery order, they said they never delivered to us and that area. So last night we decided to order pizza for delivery and decided to go with Pizza Hotline. I have had their pizza before and it is very good, but that is not the point! I pulled out my phone and set about ordering pizzas for all of us, about $40 worth by the time I was done. There was no information about delivery limits on the website, nor in the delivery address boxes! About 30 minutes after placing the order, I get a call telling me they don't deliver to our area. I mentioned that our town was listed on the website and there was no mention of delivery areas. Well, the delivery area ends in White Plains, not Waldorf as I was told on the phone! I have been going to pizza hotline for the better part of 20 years. The pizza is great (solid crust, fresh toppings). I am also a huge fan of the salads (lettuce is an ingredient not a filler). In addition to great food the delivery service is excellent. I have never had a pizza more than five minutes late. Dominoes kept us waiting for 2 hours and we had to come pick it up cold. read more

I recently discovered that Pizza Hotline delivers dinners other than pizzas. After taking relatives on a long tour of DC and not wanting to eat out again, we called Pizza Hotline and ordered a full spinach lasagna, salads and a garlic bread pizza. Did an order for pick up and when we go home part o the order waa missing. Called to tell them and their response was yes it's here you can come get it. I explained we are 15 to 20 minutes away and asked for 2 free brownies to compensate for having to come back there and was told no. So I aked to talk to the manager. Was on hold a very long time explain the situation to her again and they gave a $5 credit which is less than 2 brownies for the next time...I said OK and sent my nephew to get the salad. Called and the person I talked to said that this was a problem that was occurring, where only partial orders were recorded. He then had to check to see if his delivery person was willing to return to fulfill the order. It was only 9:00. I really didn't feel like they cared one way or the other whether I was satisfied. This was the worst meal I have every had the only good thing about it was my bottle of Pepsi my spaghetti had very little I mean very little sauce the meatballs where cold in the middle and taste like they where smoked. My husband got the meatball calzone not what he expected it was meatball mozzarella cheese and a roll no sauces at all and it was cold. I ordered online and order the spaghetti for 3 got a phone call say that it would take 21/2 hrs so we got 3 individual meal still took hour in a half to get our food.We have gotten food here before when we first moved to the area and it was not like this. We ordered a large pepperoni, and a greek salad. By the way, I've never heard of a pizza place that never knew what an antipasti salad was, so we ordered the greek. The pizza was a bit underdone, and the crust was too doughy. The pepperoni on both the pizza and salad were tasteless and bland. I have ordered from this establishment on several occasions, and the reason being is that at first I found there pizza to be delicious. I started using the delivery method and each time the pizza got worse and worst. I have an idea why but I won't go there in this post. I suspect they know exactly what they're doing whenever I order for my address. This is the only pizza place that will deliver to us and we aren't even 10 minutes from LaPlata so that makes them great but on top of that the pizza is always good, the subs are great and they deliver quickly.
