Nonna Angela's never disappoints. We've been coming back here. Today we came here for my Mom's birthday. Food was as always absolutely delicious. We ordered desert to go and they made us laugh by bringing out a sparkler candle. It was epic. Thanks for making my mom's birthday memorable!

The whole experience was amazing. Giselle was my waitress and she was fantastic. Nice, Sweet, Professional and Attentive. She made excellent suggestions for my first visit here. It most definitely won't be my last visit. The decor was so welcoming. As if you were eating in an Italian restaurant in Tuscany or your favorite Nonna's kitchen. The food and drinks were fantastic. From the hot fresh bread with fresh garlic, vinegar and oil, to the perfectly cooked pasta, to the sweet cannolis. Magnificent.

Yesterday, I had the absolute pleasure of treating my son, mother, and myself to one of the best Valentine's Day dinners I have had. I have to share our experience from the beginning. So we drove a good 30mins to get here, with anticipation from seeing this restaurant on a travel channel, but the original location is in NY. We get there, and its plenty of free parking. We ask for seating for 3 and we are told they are only seating individuals who booked a reservation. Totally understandable considering its Valentine's day. I dropped the ball folks. I didn't make a reservation. So I noticed a bar lounge which we were told we could wait for a seat to open up. As we were waiting a coupled jumped in front us and took a seat. The manager Claudia came to the rescue like the dark knight but with more grace. She mentioned she was willing to put us on the list for a table in the main dining area. I accepted her kind gesture and continued to wait for bar lounge seating to open up. A couple was kind enough to come over to us and ask if we were waiting for bar lounge seating. They offered their table to us as they were ending their night. There was a 2 man band playing in the lounge area that was very soothing to the ear. As I tried to help my mother get comfortable at the hightop table, I noticed she was having a difficult time getting seated in such a high chair. Guess who came to the rescue, you guessed, Claudia! She's the best, 100 grand, made me a real fan. So she came over and said our table was ready if we wanted a booth seating and we all know that's the best seats in the house. All I could think is look at God. The wait wasn't even long either. 10 out of 10 for saving the day. In addition our waitress was such a sweetheart. I mentioned a white malbec I saw on the menu that I was astonish to see b/c I never knew of such a thing. She bought me a small glass to taste and my God, I am a true believer Jesus turned water into wine. Its so clear like water but the taste is amazing. The food is so delicious. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very personalable. Everyone cartered to us. You would have thought we were the Obamas or something. As we were stuffing our faces, Claudia comes around handing out roses to the men/boys to give to their dates. Complimenting my son and his daper outfit she hands him a rose and tells him to give it your mommy. At the moment he lights up with a big smile as if he paid for the rose himself. I can tell he felt like a gentleman and good that he could give his mother a red rose on Valentine's day. That small gesture was very thoughtful and appreciated. I apologize for my essay, but they desired it. I love the service, the ambiance, the food, and service. I haven't seen my mother smile so much in a while. So it bought me great joy to give my mother this experience on Valentine's day. I thank Nonna Angela's staff for such a wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed ourselves at this restaurant! The food as amazing and the sauce was homemade. The Mozzarella Fritta's were very yummy. We got the Stuffed Shells, with the vodka sauce. Our waiter recommended the vodka sauce and it did not disappoint- so good! Also, got the 7 Fish Linguine dish. Then finished with the tasty Salted Caramel layered cake special- top tier! My only negative comment is that the floor seemed to have a lot of food on it. Other than that, the service was great.

Nonna's staff was super pleasant! They were very attentive and our server even gave us some recommendations. We started off with the crab toast and calamari. The calamari was a classic, but the crab toast was just okay. The food portions were very large! The chicken Parmesan was just a bit dry, but the sauce was great. My husband loved his dish, especially the crispy potatoes.

I had heard great reviews about this place so I couldn't wait to try it out. It was my cousin's birthday and she had also been wanting to try it out. I will be back. We had a party of 8 and they were able to accommodate us on a Sunday evening for dinner. For appetizers, we had the crab bruschetta and calamari. The calamari was fried perfectly. I loved it. Then for my meal, I had the crab risotto. Chef's kiss! Although I do want to try the lobster ravioli and seafood lasagna. Our server, Felipe was amazing and extremely patient. Then for dessert, I had the cannoli that was good as well. Nothing, I had was bad and thus I will be back, although it was an hour drive. I definitely felt like it was well worth it.

Hats off once again dear Yelp community for this wonderful Italian restaurant. We were in town for a festival a couple of months ago. Afterwards we were tired and also hungry for a good non-fast food meal. We consulted the handy dandy Yelp app, which pointed us to Nonna Angela's. The restaurant is located in a nondescript strip mall and it's easy to get to from the major roads. Plenty of free parking in the private lot out front. When we got there we were a wee bit nervous because their sign wasn't yet lit up for the evening. Fortunately, they were open. We were seated promptly in a very nice large booth - you need this for the plates! We were greeted at our table promptly and our drink order taken along with appetizers. We got the crispy Brussels Sprouts and the mozzarella 'planks'. The Brussels Sprouts were yummy, and the mozzarella sticks nice and chewy. On to our entrees. On the recommendation of the server I chose the lasagna and I am so glad I did - the pasta was thin and delicate, gravy nicely balanced and blended well with cheeses and meats. It was, in a word, divine. My sister got the gnocchi, which were quite yummy. No dessert, we were completely stuffed when we were done with our meals. The atmosphere is casual-chic and relaxed. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area! Highly recommend.

A short drive off of Rt.450 from Rt.3 sits Nonna Angela's Italian Restaurant. My wife and I saw a billboard display for this gem of a restaurant while attending a Chesapeake Baysox baseball game and after checking out their online menu, we opted to make it our dinner destination to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed! Our friendly server Adrien P. started us off with a basket of bread rolls to dip in a shallow dish of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) mixed with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic Cloves along with drinks, a glass of Prosecco for my wife and a glass of Merlot for me, while we contemplated our appetizers, and after mentioning the specials for the day, we decided to try one of those: Fried Green Tomatoes, along with a listed Antipasti option: Mozzarella Caprese. Our server Adrien P. fell into a pattern of responding with "Awesome!!!" as we told her what we wanted. She wasn't wrong, both dishes were presented well on the plate, and delicious. For the entree round, my wife selected the Pollo Limone (chicken with Angel Hair pasta) and I ordered the Trio Italiano (a combination of Lasagna, Stuffed Shell, and Eggplant Parmigiana). I continued with the flow of Merlot wine while my wife switched up to Chardonnay wine. The entrees were equally delicious. The service was swift and while crowded, the decor of various art works and pots and pans and rollers mounted on the walls, along with low operatic music really lent to a very charming dinner experience. We finished off our meals with two Tiramisu Martinis and a shared Cannoli - both of which were, to borrow Adrien' catch phrase: Awesome. We boxed up for the road what we couldn't comfortably eat, and left a well-earned generous tip, and my wife and I both agree: this may have been our first time dining at Nonna Angela's, but it won't be our last.

Another staff member was just as great, constantly clearing our table, removing empty dishes, and refilling our water without us even having to ask. The young lady who brought out our food had the sweetest smile and greeted us so kindly. When I mentioned I didn't really care for the rice balls, they immediately took them back and removed them from our bill--no hesitation. That level of customer care definitely stood out. The space itself is beautiful--very spacious with a great vibe. I loved the ambiance and would absolutely come back. I believe they also have outdoor seating, which I'd love to try next time. We had to get dessert to go bc the portions were gigantic and we were FULL. The rice pudding and the strawberry cheesecake were EXCELLENT! 2 things: - the shrimp cocktail did not have lemon wedges. However, the cocktail sauce had such a good flavor with the right amount of horseradish, so that made up for the lack of lemon wedge. I know I probably could have asked for one, but it was just so good either way. - the au jus that came with the prime rib tasted like A1 steak sauce. I am used to a traditional au jus. I have never needed to tweak their delightful presented ingredients combinations. Their pizzas are that outstanding. Take for instance, a recent summer pizza from the Chef's own garden: "The Cuba Libra pizza ...This white pizza features mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, complemented by pork confit, chile-roasted jicama, pickled red onions, cilantro, and fresh mint." I'd never crave mint on a pizza but if Eastport's Vin 909 is serving it, I'm probably going to enjoy it. If you are the more traditional type, another seasonal pizza featured is the Yankee Pie: "family recipe crust with tomato sauce, mozzarella, ricotta cheese, summer sausage, marinated red peppers and oregano." And yes, please, to another summer, perfect-in-Annapolis feature: "Vaquero Clams: Steamed local little neck clams, English ale, bacon, grilled poblano peppers, garlic guajillo butter, fresh oregano, epazote and cilantro." I love the gigantic Vin 909 featured arugula salad. I also miss their divine french press coffees and Butterscotch Pudding with caramelita points. This winery deserves all the awards and promotion that I've seen all socials .... However, when you know a major dmv social group (dmvdoes ) is hosting an event of 40+ people why is only 1 staff member working the whole night.? Our event experience (paid ) came with a glass of wine for all our guests. The wine was just put on a table without any explanation of the wine , grapes, or legacy. I brought several things for a raffle including the mayor bottle of wine , 2 tastings, and a wine flight for myself. There was no education or discussion about wine. Next, I ordered food and drinks before our event started and I didn't get my food until an hour after I arrived. Next , the suya was so tough I almost choked on a piece of it. The rice was decent but not a winner for me. Lastly, parking is limited to street parking or an outdoor parking lot up the street. It's a cute place to have a social event or a laid back wine meetup but definitely need more staff, wine education for visitors, and better food options.
