The owner is from Detroit she told us, but the restaurant definitely lacked anything that would make me personally feel like I were in Detroit. She told us the patties were 8 ounces and for some reason I thought that was tiny, leading me to get the Willie Mack Triple Burger. The burger is indeed not tiny, but ginormous. Very tasty, hot and fresh, there is cheese on every slice and the salad is underneath all the patties. Mayo, mustard and ketchup as well. Fries were great, with Tony's seasoning of course, the burger was incredible, authentic Detroit or not it was very good. My mom got the single burger with fries and we both got drinks leading the total to $30. The drink machine was out, so the lady gave us cans of coke, and I requested sprite so she had a 2 liter of sprite??? ‍ She gave me a cup and told me I can have as many refills as I wanted as well as coke for my mom. It was weird, but the woman made the restaurant feel very homey which I really appreciated. I suggest the KFC management double check to see if the staff may be asleep or too stoned to do their work properly. I will not pay good money for poor service and a substandard product. I believe in supporting my community, but this is the second time in two weeks I have had a negative experience with this merchant, so the Brandon, MS, KFC is off my list of businesses to support.
