    Poor cleanliness

This place is the worst. Holy crap. Stay away. I don't know about the food, never got that far, asked for a refund. When I showed up for a pickup they told me it would be 20+ mins. I ordered over 30 minutes ago. While there, I watch door dash drivers get visibly upset trying to pick up their orders, nobody could find them, they were just told, "I don't know". Additionally, a family had sat at the tables but didn't fill it all the way up. The waitress told them they had to move. Outside of all the pickups, there is no one here.... Not to mention the girl that tied her shoes then immediately went back into the food area without washing her hands Yikes, run away, run far away...

This was the 4th pizza place we came to. It was the closest for a dine in. The rest were just carry outs. We came here, not a lot of people. Literally just another family. It was dirty inside & really cold. They have a tv inside. We ordered breadsticks which is our favorite & cheese breadsticks. We also got wings but they fry these ones we liked the baked ones better. Not a fan of these wings and won't buy them again. We got a super supreme pizza, sausage pizza & a half cheese half pepperoni pizza. They charged us for ranch I don't know why cause it's suppose to come with the wings. They also have a salad bar.

Proof of wait times. Two hours, no pizza. Nothing but attitude. Tracker says the pizza went out 40mins ago... I live 5-10mins away

The food is standard Pizza Hut; Cheesy, greasy, cheap, and weirdly, you kinda love it. This locations service... that's where it's getting two stars. I called and asked current delivery times to caldwell (I'm 5mins from store but we were lazy) and they say 30-40mins. Ok... order online cause of the deals. Then we wait. I called at the hour mark, and was snipped at my a feminine voice that I believe to be male (no name) and was curtly told "it's cooking". Before I could ask about the ETA for delivery, he/she hung up. Hour and a half rolls by... no delivery. Seriously?! I call again, same voice, "it went out for delivery a while ago" click. F*%cking seriously? Now mind you, I'm not mad or mean to the guys; it happens. It's pizza delivery, and I guess tuesdays are busy. But cmon, I just wanna know if I'm gonna eat tonight. Hour and forty five mins rolls past... I'm supposed to be in bed for work in 15mins,l (it's 9:45pm at this point) and I oh guessed it, no pizza. Is there even a point to calling? Le sigh. I'll wait it out a bit longer, but if they screwed up my order, My hubby and I will eat the damn delivery driver! Uggghhh. Update: checked the tracker thingy that texted me it went out for delivery at 9:18pm (it's now 9:54pm) and I called the store. New woman this time (destiny) who sounded a bit terrified when I asked where my order was (I'm assuming they get yelled at a lot, wonder why?) and she told me it JUST LEFT THE STORE TWO MINS AGO. (Facepalm) Final update: called corporate and talked to an amazing guy. Reported store to be escalated. As we were talking TWO HOURS FIFTEEN MINS AFTER I ORDERED the pizza came. Driver seemed like he was trying really hard to fake giving two ducks about being late, and reeked of weed. No judgements on the weed part, but seriously, while driving and at work (eyeroll) pizza was barely room temperature. Seriously?! At least the order was right... bravo I guess. Saga over. NEVER. ORDERING. AGAIN.

Pepperoni & italian sausage... some cheese on some pieces, about 7 pepperonis and the sausage is on 1/2.

It was my birthday, and family tradition says the birthday-ee gets to choose dinner. I was going to…read morehit my favorite Mexican restaurant, but in my mind, molcajete came up. A quick Yelp review showed that Eliza's had recently opened. It wasn't in the core of old downtown, so it's a little tough to find. It's next to a Hispanic grocery. You walk in and go to the counter to order. The menu is perfect. There aren't a million things to go through. We got some guacamole and chips, tacos, a torta and the molcajete. I got a medium horchata to drink. We found a place to sit and a cute little fella came to deliver our chips and salsa. The salsa was fresh, and very clean tasting. I enjoyed it a lot. After a while the guacamole came out with chips... it was a hit. I little on the spicy side, but it was fresh, no doubt. While we waited, a mariachi singer came in and sang... and boy did he sing. He was fantastic. We absolutely loved the intimate concert. It took a while, but our food came. My wife had the tacos and loved them. The torta, for the 13 yr old, was great his only complaint was it was a little too toasted. The meat was fantastic. The food was legit. If you've never had a molcajete, it's an experience. The thing is a flaming hot stone bowl,(no touchy, it's hot,) filled to the brim with shrimp, strips of grilled chicken, Carne Asada, cactus leaf, cheese, onions, and some jalapeno strips. They bring it to you hot as can be in a boiling stew of a tangy green sauce. It's not cheap, but it could easily feed 2-3... The horchata was great. I enjoyed it, it was totally refreshing. The food came and so did the songs, BTW, if the guy we heard tonight is singing, you need to show up. He's seriously awesome. They were so polite and I really enjoyed it. Here are the things I took a star off for. 1. As sweet as the waitress was, she got distracted a few times, and could have paid a little more attention. I am gonna chalk this up to inexperience. We needed a chops refill a few times, and there were only two tables filled tonight. 2. It was pricey... but worth it. 3. This is NOT fast food. Plan on a long wait. Understand though, that you are getting some made to order food, not just a scoop of something out of a bucket. There were a lot of people making food, so it was weird to have it take that long... the singer made it ok.. because he was fun to listen to. 4. They could serve and refill water, instead of selling water . The kids wiped out their water bottle in minutes. All in all, the things they can improve on didn't impact the quality of the food. It was REALLY good. We will be back... I think that they will continually get better and faster. With the quality of the food, I'm shocked this place wasn't packed.

Not the lame video content where 2 seconds into a bite an actor says it is soooo amazing. This is the real deal. As far as Oaxacan, straight up nails the flavor profile - which only comes with multiple preparation steps, layers, and time. Thus the expense. The only authenticity deviation I can tell is that the spice level is much lower, which my wife appreciated. It has been so long since I've had a mole that didn't taste like Hershey coco powder cooked in an overly sweet base with a little pork fat. Or from a Sysco can. After having some great experiences in northern Mexico and southern CA, in the decades since I had given up on finding a good mole. Their Mole Negro was incredibly favorable and dances on the tongue for a solid 30 seconds. Braised beef short rib was perfectly cooked and fork tender. Mole - mwah! Can't recall ever having a charred sunchoke (as a side), but now it is on my radar because that was super tasty. Barbacoa de borrego... during a trip going through Quintana Roo, I shared a meal with an ethnic Mayan community where the meat was freshly slaughters, dry rubbed, wrapped in leaves, and slow pit cooked over embers in the ground. Amano's style is using agave, which I liked. From time to time I purchase Boise River lamb at the Meridian Main Street Farmers Market. It's way better than New Zealand lamb which always seems a little gamey/off to me. The broth provided just elevated each mouthful. To have local Boise River lamb prepared as an authentic barbacoa... Given the amount of meat you get, it's totally worth the $108 splurge. But wait, there's more. Scallop crudo - my wife said it reminded her of the fresh shrimp and fish ceviche we had in Playa del Carmen. I loved the pairing with jicama and slice of de-seeded jalapeno (not spicy). Only warning - the dry spice they sprinkle scallops with can be a bit strong for some. Beans, simply amazing. Rice, pretty good. 4 salsa's offered a real diversity of flavors to do different pairings. Provided tortillas seemed more like authentic maize that is well worked, not the fragile disks you can get in the grocery store. The tres leche lavender cake was enjoyable, but didn't blow me away. Everyone was very friendly. Our server was awesome and super helpful. Great menu of mescals, which was perfect for resetting the pallet. I guess they are going to start up a tasting room in the near future, which would be pretty interesting. To get that real taste without having to spend thousands on getting to where the authentic exists - simply awesome.

Our server, Ashley, was absolutely wonderful. Since it was our first visit, she thoroughly explained the menu and made excellent suggestions. She even showed me where Chef and owner Sal prepares the meats underground overnight and explained the extensive process behind them. Ashley then introduced me to Sal before giving me a peek inside the mezcal tasting room. I loved the agave goddess artwork in there! Sadly, I didn't get to meet his wife and business partner, Becca--but hopefully I will when we return! Ashley also took the time to show me the entrance to Cán Coctelería--Amano's speakeasy--from their outdoor dining patio. Now I have yet another reason to return! We started with drinks and cornbread. My Cadillac margarita was impressive! I also tried my hubby's Café de Olla--¡delicioso! I sampled their mezcal as well, and it was so tasty and warmed my heart in the best possible way! The cornbread was incredibly moist and buttery. They also serve a delicious sweet wheat bread that, in my opinion, is even better than chips and salsa! For my meal, I ordered the chilaquiles with eggs over easy and added birria. They were excellent! I love when the chips still have some texture and aren't completely soggy. These had the perfect sauce-to-chip ratio, along with a little spice--which I loved! My husband ordered the birria tacos and absolutely devoured them. The refreshing towel offered after our meal was another thoughtful touch and the perfect way to end the experience. Overall, I truly loved Amano! The food was delicious, the service was memorable, and the entire experience felt special. I'm already looking forward to returning, experiencing Cán Coctelería, and bringing our friends and relatives whenever they come to visit!
