This is the first Pizza Hut I've seen with a drive-thru which is a great idea. And I love that the inside is roomy enough for a couple tables if you want to eat there. I miss the days of the old sit-down restaurant Pizza Huts so this is a nice touch even if everyone is taking their food to go. Otherwise, it's clean and new with plenty of parking, and it's right on the highway so it's convenient. My no frills pepperoni pizza came out hot and fresh and was just right. read more

I decided to give Pizza Hut a try because I wanted something fast and easy, especially with a drive thru available. I downloaded the app after the Liberty Hill location recently opened. I logged in, updated my information, selected pickup, entered my zip code, and chose Liberty Hill. I placed my order and headed to the store. When I arrived and waited at the pickup window, I was told my order had gone to Leander instead. This was especially frustrating because I have never ordered from the Leander location. The last time I ordered Pizza Hut was in Georgetown over five years ago. The employee was polite and sympathetic, but my only options were to drive to Leander or lose my money. That completely defeated the convenience I was expecting. I ordered a personal pan pizza after seeing someone else with one and added cheesesticks and cinnamon rolls. Finding the personal pan pizza in the app was harder than it should have been. It wasn't listed under "Done for One," and I searched several menus before finally finding it under the main pizza section. I honestly almost gave up and went somewhere else. The food was mixed. The pan pizza was disappointing. It was basically a cheese pizza with toppings placed on top, with no cheese over them, so everything slid off when I picked it up. The cinnamon rolls looked great and had plenty of frosting, but they were very hard. The cheesesticks were the standout and genuinely good, though they could have used a little more marinara. Overall, I wanted fast, easy, and convenient. The food has always been a fairly good experience, but today we picked up an order thru the drive thru & they didn't give my husband the two liter I ordered. So then I called back to talk to ask for a refund & Trinity said I'd have to talk to a manager. She said they probably only give me a credit. I waited on hold 10 minutes to talk to a manager. I hung up, and I will say at least they called me back. But yes, sure enough, Omar called me back and told me he could send me the Pepsi OR credit my account. When I asked for a refund, he said he couldn't even access the order anymore. He'd leave a note for another manager to review. I ordered 3 Pizzas with 3 different crusts, and different toppings on each one, for carry out. It came out quickly, courteously, and correctly. The place is very clean, nice and new, somewhat spartan with several tables and chairs but this is mostly a carryout and delivery store so the tables are more for people waiting rather than eating though I am sure some do. They still employ their own delivery drivers, too. The Pizza Hut where I worked in the late 70s with lunch buffets, a salad bar, draft beer and box wine, and Open until 1am on Friday & Saturday is a thing of the past. They have reinvented themselves with a new business plan but you can still get all of your longtime Pizza Hut favorites because the food hasn't changed a bit. I have ordered from the Liberty Hill store 4 times know. The pizza has been good so far. I did order wings one night and I must say they were the smallest wings I have ever had. My biggest issue is the service the young people that I have interacted with have zero customer service. They will walk around in the back and look at you. The phone is ringing off the hook. If they do come out and wait on you they will walk off and not say anything to you, for example your order is on the way, we are a little behind. I don't know if it is poor service skills or even worse poor parenting that didn't teach manners. For example 9 people in the lobby and no one at the counter to greet or help. Well I was given the GM number and I gave her a call she said they should not have given me her number. I said well with your restaurant being 2 hours behind is a reflection of her manager skills and it should concern her. Waited way too long past the pickup time to get an order that was: incorrect, undercooked, and cold. Crappiest pizza I've had in a long time. I had hoped that there might be some new pizza competition in an area that desperately needs it, but nope. This is trash pizza - do yourself a favor, just skip it and avoid the frustration and anger. read more

My order was not ready at my initial order time. I waited 30 minutes in the parking lot and received two pizzas that were under cooked with doughy crust. They also duplicated the pizzas. I ordered two totally different pizzas and got the exact same pizza in both boxes. I will not be back. read more

AVOID. I ordered October 25. When I arrived at the store to pickup my order they were at least an hour behind. I asked the lady at the counter to cancel my order. She canceled it but said a refund could only be issued from "corporate". Since October 25 I have spoken to the manager on October 28, November 4, November 13 and November 19. In a November 13 voicemail the manager told me the "corporate" would overnight my refund "next Thursday", meaning November 20. No check has arrived. I went through the Pizza Hut website's chat feature and they referred me back to the store. I sent an email through the website and haven't heard anything. I can't speak to the quality of the pizza as my order was never made. I'm only speaking to the horrendous customer service. I have multiple voicemail messages stating the refund would take "a week". I was given an exact date where the refund would be sent overnight. Nothing. It is just a complete runaround. Maybe the pizza is decent. My history with Pizza Hut doesn't support that and I foolishly thought I'd try them since this is a newer location. I'll never know. Yum Brands is a $42+ billion company. The store supposedly has to request a refund from "corporate". And this $42 billion company cannot process a refund via their credit card machines. read more
