TTK is great, worth the stop for sure. I had a chicken and beef taco. The corn tortilla was authentic, my favorite of the taco was the beef. It had great flavor unlike most fajita style beef. Portions were great. Glad they had brewed tea. My bill was $12. Similar set up as a Chipotle. The only negative is report is there isn't much of an ambiance. No music in the background, but that could be due to experience PRO dues to play music in the establishment. read more

Food is amazingly fresh, customer service very pleasant and portions are huge! Let's also talk about the delicious and warm homemade tortillas... I enjoyed the taco bowl with carne asada and all the fixings. Was extra hungry so also ordered the pozole. Neither disappointed this foodie! You know, I really like to support local business but when you're overcharged for something and there is nothing posted that tells you the price difference it's very unnerving... So I will not be eating here again. I got a two taco plate and then let the lady know that I was charged $15 something for the meal when it should only be $11.99. Always a fav but this time we did an eat in vs carry out. Food is always very high quality and tortillas are made fresh. Taco bowl and 3 tacos (with chicken, pastor and beef) were our entrees. Got the bowl with a lettuce base rather than rice (lower carb). Added a side of pinto beans and another of street corn to share. Both were very tasty. Especially liked the corn - yummy! Tasteless, unseasoned and dry ... tried a variety of tacos and all just pitiful ! Small portions of terrible quality chicken, pork and beef. Nothing had any seasoning. Visited TTK for the first time last week. The ladies up front were warm & attentive. I went with a taco bowl. They had 5 different meat options, which I personally like. A friends and I stopped by on a Saturday morning on our way to shoot. A coworker told us it was good. This is why I don't trust people. Got 2 tacos with egg, potato, chorizo, and cheese. There was maybe 5 very small pieces of tater, a good bit of chorizo, 1/4 of an egg and maybe a teaspoon of cheese on a small flour tortilla. That was $5.....there was maybe $2 of ingredients at most. Carna guisada and beef fajitas meat was very good, rice and corn etc sides were bland. Pretty much middle of the road seasoning to appeal to masses. Smart layout for fast service. Tortillos heated up and Tacos made in front of you to fit you ask. Sports on the TVs with low/no volume so that was nice. No alcoholic beverages in case any of you might prefer that. My family and I stumbled upon Texas Taco Kitchen. Arriving right before the dinner rush and deciding between a taco plate or taco bowl, both sounded delicious, taco bowl it was! It is a walk-setup like Chipotle, but 10 times better! I had the green chili pork for my meat, lettuce, all cheeses, pico de gio, the light rice, guacamole, tomatoes and crema. The service was speedy and friendly! I highly recommend this place and look forward to going back and trying another meat. read more

Our toddler had kid's rice and chicken. We also got a small queso to split. If you are a spice wimp, the beans and queso may make you reach for a drink. The tacos I had were chicken and beef. Both were great and the tortillas were delicious. I really want to go back and try the carne guisada meal. They were out of Spanish rice so I had the green chili rice which was ok but I prefer traditional Spanish rice. The beans were also good. I had a bowl of the guacamole also which is fantastic for you avocado lovers. Give this place a try. You can get family packs to go too.
