I would like to say I really do commend the managers that do work there. After what I have witnessed and experienced yesterday I almost feel as though those managers go home and they pray every night to come back with sound mind and to be able to keep going to make sure that us customers are provided with our orders the way that is expected. What I witnessed was a manager I Believe by the name of Tiffany I really commend her because she was able to keep calm and stay professional even after all the ugly and hurtful things that were said to her near her and without her hearing. This is one of the worst Pizza Huts I have ever been to. First they told me that it was going to be 40 minutes for delivery and called me back to see if I could come pick it up which I did. She said it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I went to pick it up I told him my name he went to the back and then came back didn't let me know if it was ready but started helping other customers that were walking in just like me. All these people that were walk ins like I was had their pizzas ready, except for mine. When I asked him to check on my pizza he went to the back to check, came back with the pizza and it was cold. So it had been sitting in the back ready all this time. I just took the pizza and left because I didn't want to cause a scene but this was one the worst Pizza Huts I've been to! This is where customer service went to die and never resurrected. Corporate should definitely take a look at all of these consistently poor reviews and implement some changes. They are losing big business due to poor management and training. As of late I usually let things go and try to be understanding but this location made me squash all that. I ordered a couple of pizzas for dinner. My card was charged and an hour abc half later nothing arrived. I have ordered online with Pizza Hut for years. My account has my address, email, and two numbers to reach me at. Apparently my number was entered wrong so they called that one and they said they didn't order anything. Ok simple mistake. So instead of calling the other number on file or emailing, since the food was already paid for, they just didn't come. I called and asked what's happening and they told me that there was no order. They then found my order and said it was cancelled because they couldn't reach me. Huh? I told them my account is full of ways to contact me. I then asked when my $ would be refunded and they said it depended on the bank. Please note that a hold is not released on a card until the order has been canceled. Until I called my order had not been canceled. So shady business. I contacted corporate and got the basic we are sorry story but no substance. This will continue and Pizza Hut lost a customer. This is the second time I order from this location and i'm beyond disappointed. It's a saturday night and I ordered (1) pizza online at 9:06. The pizza carryout pick up time suggested 9:35. I show up and as i waited i noticed people complaining how long they've waited. The young hispanic boy tried his best to attend to all inquires and check people out. I did appreciate him saying he apologized and would try his best to accommodate the customer. Then i noticed a lot of orders were incorrect. I gave it the benefit of doubt but as I waited for my online order for almost an entire hour. My pizza wasn't ready until 10:23 roughly. That is beyond upsetting. The purpose of ordering online is to avoid waiting longer in person for the pizza. I think the manager is beyond unprofessional he did not step out in the front to reasssure customers they're trying their very best to prepare all the food in a timely manner. NO SIGN of a manager if one even exist. It's a saturday night therefore, it will be busy its common sense it should to be staffed correctly. Failure to deliver. Do not bother with ordering on-line. Had bad experience with another pizza place so didn't want to set up a profile (reading other reviews, this may not have made any difference). I only ordered one pizza (less than $20) and my last name should match on-line information about our address - but (like another review) they claim to have called to verify my address (multiple times) and left a voice msg... only received one call around the time they would have called but if it was them it was done from a personal cell phone and not the store's phone (caller ID did not list a name and simply gave city/state as Grand Prairie TX (note: Buckner is NO WHERE near Grand Prairie). On the chance it was them, i tried calling the # back and got voice mail "Hi, it's me, leave a message"... do i did what many others would probably do - I blocked the number as Spam. Nothing on the website or the email indicated that i would be called to confirm the address (and on an order less than $20???). Voicemail finally available on my phone about an hour later, message just indicated it was Pizza Hut and to call them to verify my address - didn't tell me What phone # to call (a lot of good it did me to call that particular #) or that my order would be cancelled if i didn't respond within a certain period of time. When i called to check on the order, no one bothered to offer to try to rectify the situation, just to put the blame on me for not calling back. Sorry this review is should not be a reflection of the people in this store they were nice & professional, my only complaint with them is they couldn't answer the phone, while waiting on hold I hear this recording if you want to save time order online a lot of companies are downsizing and cutting jobs and they want to make it seem like the at the customers best interest you can order online, this takes away jobs from humans plus makes me the customer have to do an order takers job in order to enjoy the food I'm already paying for anyway enough of my rant about cheap companies. I ordered a medium pizza and a s'mores cookie. Went to pick up my order when I got there the pizza was ready but the young lady said we have regular cookies but we don't the "ingredients" to make s'mores but you still want the cookie right I said I don't want a plain old cookie, she had to get a manager I had to wait for the manager to credit my account. So again the people at the store were great, my issue is with Pizza Hut not wanting to pay enough people to answer the phone in a timely matter and the fact it as with other greedy big business wants me the customer to log on and place the order soon I will have to place the order go to the store and cook it then pay someone for a box. This place needs a change! Horrible service every single time! They get nothing right. I keep ordering from this place thinking it was probably that one night that went horrible. But no!! Never get my drink right, I asked for regular Pepsi. They always sent me DIET Pepsi. Not once, not twice... But three different times!
