I'm a fan of potbelly, ordinarily. Consistent sandwiches. Not crazy expensive. And they have a hot pepper relish very similar to a good Chicago Italian Beef style Giardiniera. And I put that shit on errthang. But this was an especially nice group of folks working. Chatty, having a nice day, friendly. I like friendly. Way to be, folks. I'm a fan of Potbelly and with the location right across from Baylor this is a great option if you need a break from their cafeteria. I've done several pick up orders from this location. The food has been consistently good and the employees are friendly. My favorite? The BLTA. I love the peppered bacon they use and it's a great combination overall. Heard about this restaurant from a co worker, stopped by to give it a try. I was very pleased with the quick service. I ordered the meatball sandwich, it was very delicious and so was the milkshake. This restaurant is very clean. Bringing my wife and kids on my next visit here. For great tasting sandwiches and milkshakes I highly recommend this restaurant . I'm one happy customer. When it comes to sandwich shop chains, depending on the day Potbelly's is either #1 or #2 on my list. This was my first visit to this location which has been around for a little over a year. Located on the ground level of the Baylor Scott & White MedProvider (across the street from Baylor hospital), this location is easily accessible from the street which makes it an ideal location for people who live/work in the area. I went during off hours and when I arrived I was the only customer present. The staff was attentive and had my order to me in a timely manner. I decided to dine there and found all the tables and booths to be clean and in order. While I was eating a few others came in and all seemed to experience a similar level of service. Because it's locating in a medical complex, free parking is limited. The attached garage has a few spaces that are limited to 20 minutes so plan accordingly based on the time of your visit. Otherwise there is paid parking in the garage as well as metered parking on a nearby street. Or do as I did (assuming you live in the area) and make the short jog (or walk) here. read more

The GM is terrible. My catering order was AN HOUR late and I was never given a straight forward answer as to why. I was put on hold two separate times & they never picked up the phone afterwards. When I finally got to talk to somebody the third time, she decided to argue with me! She also hung up after I asked to speak with the GM. The delivery driver (Ashley) was the only individual that cared about our order arriving. She came in on her day off just to help out. As far as PotBelly experiences go, this is a good one. Location is prime and right across the street from big Baylor and close to deep ellum. The store is clean. Service is fast during off peak hours. Parking: there is a parking garage in the building. No street parking is available. read more

I've been coming to this Pot belly for years now! The staff they currently have are the sweetest and you can tell they genuinely love their jobs. We were probably the first ones in today and interrupted their prep work. Both ladies ran over and started making our perfect sandwiches! The clubby is off the menu but has all the perfect toppings! Potbelly's is a perfect stop for great fast easy food! The sandwiches are consistently good and the staff are always very nice! I've had the CheeseSteak with Provolone, the Mediterranean Chicken, and the Italian sandwiches (I usually add jalapeños) and loved all of them! The soups are good too (if a bit overpriced) but most of the prices are reasonable enough! Delivery is usually pretty fast too and the location makes it very convenient! read more

A friend and I stopped in here to get lunch before visiting a friend at Baylor. There were 3 ladies working and we spoke to all of them, asking them questions about the menu and what their favorite sandwiches were. All 3 of them were so nice and helpful! They were very friendly and didn't mind our questions one bit. I ordered the grilled chicken and cheddar and my friend got the turkey sandwich. Both were delicious and I love how the bread, meat and cheese were toasted. Having avocado as an option was awesome. One of the ladies asked us how our sandwiches were and we told her they were great! Before leaving I noticed a man at the counter and asked if he was the manager so I could compliment the staff. Went in, was greeted and the only customer. Then proceeded to wait 6-7 minutes for nada. I asked the man out front stocking chips if they were closed, he said "you haven't been helped yet??" I said no but he wasn't moved to action, so I waited a moment and left. Both employees stocking food behind the counter saw me and one mumbled something in my direction then walked away. Ordered today for the unpteenth time and I had issues with the app, the manager was so very rude!!!! Attitude from her and the other lady that was working. I work at the hospital across the street and I would love to just walk in and get what I need without attitude. Seriously - this place sold us a salad for dining in yet did not have any forks. None, zero, zip. We ordered and received our sandwich and salad, sat down at the table to start eating and then realized we still needed a fork for the salad. Went up to the counter and they suddenly remembered they didn't have forks! Plus, parking here is far from easy. The attached garage provides only 20 minutes of free parking so hope the line is short and you're ready to eat your food quickly using only your fingers. read more
