Best OG Pizza Around! I ordered a delivery Supreme pizza from the Pizza Inn in East Dallas and was blown away. It was so good I had to look up the location--and I'm glad I did. They're making pizzas just like I remember from decades ago: loaded with toppings, fresh ingredients, and the perfect crust. They offer both delivery and dine-in, complete with a classic salad bar. First off, salad buffet all day! We've been looking for an all you can eat pizza buffet and we finally found one. This location itself is not the best, it's not in the best part of town. The building could use some updating and renovation but the pizza was fantastic! Thin crust, crispy and flaky. Perfect! The salad is also very good, lots of options of veggies to add. All in all great food, just beware of the location it's in. read more

I found this place by accident. Originally in the area to get my car's brakes worked on and with time to wait, I walked next door for a bite to eat. Their outside facade is pretty humble, but don't let that determine your decision to try Pizza Inn's food. Their lunch buffet was fully stocked, with all the usual trimmings looking fresh and appetizing. I rarely eat at a buffet. Not my thing at all. But this little neighborhood gem will be the exception to my overall foodie rule. Because everything here is freshly made, with a great variety to choose from, and is very affordable. Most buffets in my humble experience are full of 2nd rate food, not so good on their own, but are passable in a group low paying buffet rate. Yeah, never been a fan. But not here. Everything tasted great!! I started with a green iceberg salad with some spinach leaves sprinkled in, fresh veggies, and a house dressing. A thin crust combo pizza slice, which was light. Than a deep dish cheese slice, which was indulgent, but not greasy at all. My favorite was the stuffed pie that is reminiscent of East coast pizza houses. It looks almost like a calzone, but its not. Two pieces of that heaven filled my pizza carb craving real good. My 2nd plate included a decent portion of al dente spaghetti noodles with a clean marinara sauce. Which I generously doused with red chili flakes and parmesan cheese. And a small piece of their cinnamon dessert roll. After eating all that, I was stuffed. Thankfully. Yummy for sure. My lunch buffet was $9.25 plus my drink, an Arnold Palmer, which was .70 cents, roughly totalled $10, and than I tipped $2. I think it was a very fair price for quick, quality food with a real friendly staff. They offer a reward card, one free buffet after 10 paid visits. Sweet. There is also a front counter to order personalized food either for there or to go. And believe they have delivery too. The really sweet owner made my afternoon. She had some kind words after the rude mechanic next door comes in and says horrible rude stuff to my face while I am eating my lunch. She was the best. Him, not so much. Not a good spot!!! The pizza was awfully greasy with cheapy tasting ingredients that was soaked in grease. Ordered a spaghetti as well and it was so watery and bland, their version of spaghetti with meatballs is noodles and beef and that's it. Other pizza inns I've been to taste completely different than this place. When I told the management about the spaghetti it became my fault for not knowing how to order yet other pizza inns get it right everytime. Pizza Inn is probably the last place in Dallas you want to go for pizza. The food was not very good, the restaurant is not at all clean. Felt like I could've caught COVID just standing there, you'd probably be better off ordering Dominos, Pizza Hut or a local place with quality ingredients. read more

I showed up with a craving for pizza. Namely a pizza buffet is what I had in mind. I spotted this Pizza Inn driving around and it was less than a mile from my home, so I made my mind to give it a go at some point. Usually Pizza Inn can outdo Cici's in terms of quality, which is why it's slightly pricier. Instead I walked in, immediately noticing that the very small and dimly lit establishment reeked of dust and odor, seemed grimy and filthy and that the buffet was reduced to a few sad slices of pizza that looked like they were there for hours. Really - for hours. There was an employee on the phone who did not acknowledge my presence, and I made up my mind right there that I wasn't going to eat here. Apparently the buffet had just closed right before I came in. A buffet that closes at 2pm...yes, that's right. Not the normal standard for Pizza Inn, or any pizza buffet for that matter, and with a Cici's just a skip and a hop away serving at normal hours, I don't need to give this establishment my business, ever. I turned on my heel and went to Angry Dog for lunch, where I was not disappointed. In summary: Service - Lacking. Cleanliness - I felt like I needed a shower after walking in, much less would I trust the place to serving me food. Selection - Horrible, if you can manage to make it in during prime lunch hours, that is. What a complete disappointment of a Pizza Inn. I will not be back. read more

I like Pizza Inn over Pizza hut because the pizza is just better but when I ordered Cheese Bread with my pizza tonight I recieved bread sticks. Upon calling the business the manager started arguing with me stating that I did not order cheese bread but that I ordered the bread sticks. It's not my fault you can't take a phone order. This is no way to run a business. The pizza is better than pizza hut but the managment is seriously lacking. I will never order from here again! read more

This place should be closed AGAIN!! Food handling and preparations are handle with bar hands, no gloves to be found, it smelled of roach spray and looks like the rats have a good time afterhours. Just plain old nasty. And the pizza looks like a big old germ. read more

Ordered over the phone using Groupon and the person that took my order was rude and abrasive while taking my order. When the food arrived, the pizza was disgustingly undercooked and it is very apparent they skimp on the quality as well as the quantity of food. There is barely any cheese on the pizza, the toppings are sparse, and the mushrooms are canned mushrooms. The wings were soggy and seemed like they were microwaved. You could get better wings at Krogers. On top of that they charged me gratuity for delivery. I understand that there is a delivery charge and I'm fine with that, but gratuity for delivery is BS. AVOID THIS PLACE. I skipped lunch and ordered from here for dinner. After about 3 slices I lost my appetite. It's THAT bad. *EDIT - Both my girlfriend and I now have upset stomachs from the food. I rarely give out negative reviews but this place is DISGUSTING. read more

This place is my favorite for a quick-grab pizza lunch! Although the salad bar has nothing too fancy or out of the ordinary, it is always consistantly great & the pizza is really great, too. I like buffet and i like pizza, so which makes me like cici's pizza. I heard this place is an AYCE pizza buffet so i decided to try it. First of all, let me warn you that most of the pizzas for the buffet is THIN crust! so be aware, just in case you dont like thin crust pizzas. The hispanic lady, who was serving customers by taking their plates and refilling drinks is very kind. She was probably the only positive factor for me lol. Wow. Worst service ever. Our waiter "greeted" our table with "shall I get you a bottle and five…read moreglasses?" Presumably meaning wine, but we were considering cocktails and a bit confused by the question. He said "I'll come back when you're ready," and disappeared for the first of many long absences. From the beginning it felt like we were ruining his life. He was cheerless and curt and wouldn't make eye contact with anyone. It would be more understandable if the restaurant was super busy or understaffed. But this was Monday at 6 pm. We listed a birthday on the reservation, but it wasn't acknowledged. Why bother to ask if we are celebrating? We waited for empty plates and glasses to be cleared between courses. We waited a long time for him to return so we could order a second glass of wine. Even longer for the plates to be cleared and longer still for the opportunity to order dessert...a piece of cake for the birthday girl and two after dinner drinks...but the drinks weren't picked up from the bar when the cake was delivered, and only remembered when we asked for the check. We watched him pick them up (well after the cake was consumed) on his way to leave the bill. No mention that they had been overlooked, no thank you, no good night. This was our first time at Barsotti's and it will be our last. Aside from the awful service, we had issues with the food as well. The veal was pounded paper thin and fried hard resulting in a tough, chewy texture similar to dried beef or jerky. It was dry and overcooked on two different dishes. On a more positive note, we enjoyed the fried ravioli appetizer and the redfish was fine. While our waiter was largely MIA and unpleasant when he did show up, the bus boy/assistant was gracious and attentive. Maybe he was trying to compensate for his colleague. BTW, the offensive employee was in his late 40s to mid 50s with a slight build and salt and pepper hair.

Great flavor and you have your option on pasta and I chose penne. For dessert we had the special cheesecake which was amazing. Prices for wine, cocktails, and food are all very reasonable.
