I went in on a Friday night after placing an order online. The place was packed, mostly with people getting door dash orders. There was one young man behind the counter dealing with all the people who were picking up their orders and having to tell them it wasn't ready yet. Ordered over phone and was told ready in 14 min. Got there 15 to 20 min. Later and was told another 4 min.. No problem until an additional 20 min. Later finally received it. Well 5 min later arrived home pizza was cold. Next time will go down the road to Michelangelo's. Another customer I talked to was waiting for wings for over an hour on a preorder. First time placing a home delivery order on line. I did my best which wasn't even close, called twice, spoke to two different employees waited 45 minutes, called back. Before I post this review I want to make it clear that Pizza Hut is by far our favorite pizza of all pizza places, the pizza itself is usually really good and the big pay off for us is usually the crust. We have eaten at many locations(including this one in Ellenton FL) So it really saddens my wife and I to have to say that the pizza we ordered this afternoon (6/5/24) at the Ellenton FL location was one of THE worst tasting pizzas we have had from a Pizza Hut location ever. The body of the slices had a very tainted lingering taste and the crust was very stale. Unfortunately we were unable to continue eating this pie and had to throw it away. Nothing more aggravating than to throw money in the garbage like that. I doubt we will be returning to this location unless this store starts showing great improvement. read more

I just went and spent $56 dollars on pizza and wings! The wings didn't come with ranch so I asked for it and the girl said it will be .50 extra per ranch!!! I don't care about the money because that's not the point, the point is I just spent almost $60 on food and wings that is served with ranch or blue chz in every restaurant I've ever been to! But yet she could give me about 100 napkins that I'm sure cost more then one cup of ranch!!!!! Won't be getting my business again!!! read more

I usually get papa johns pizza but decided to try Pizza Hut (as I grew up on it.) It was the worst pizza I have had in years. I legitimately feel, without exaggeration that gas station pizza would have been better. There were slices with no cheese on them, it was cold, every topping was over cooked and dried out. The crust was so cooked it was essentially a cracker. I am insanely disappointed. I ended up scraping toppings off of other slices and piling them on two slices if that tells you the quality of the toppings. I just couldn't stand the idea of eating pointless calories in that pathetic crust. read more

Tonight most restaurants were already closed, so we ordered Pizza Hut delivery. I called and asked for extra sauce on my supreme pizza, explaining that last time I'd asked for e yes I hadn't been able to see or taste the sauce. The delivered pizza had sauce that I could barely see, and still couldn't taste. Next on my order were naked wings. The last time I got naked wings they didn't have any breading or heat. This time they were breaded and hot. Fail. Still happy to have Pizza Hut as a fallback restaurant. But when I order, I know the food will be mediocre. read more

Forget the fact that my pizza delivery was 30 minutes late. I read through the Pizza Hut website where they talked about their contactless delivery. The delivery person stood about 4 feet away from me with no mask nor gloves. I was livid. I called the manager who said I needed to find a contactless button somewhere on their website to get contactless delivery. What a joke during Covid. I wanted to complain to the regional manager. He said he couldn't give that information out so I'm writing a review on Yelp warning people to be careful of ordering from Pizza Hut during Covid. I learned my lesson and won't be back. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Husband orders pizza at 610pm tonight and I go to pick it up at 640pm bc he was told 20mins. They actually ended up loosing the order and the girl taking orders takes zero responsibility (asked to verify number he called etc) manager says 20 mins to get a new order so I said I have food let's deliver it bc I have groceries in the car, told 55 minutes. Me and father arrived Exactly at 10 p.m. Tonight 4/15/15. A woman and a man that work there were outside smoking in front of location. Being parking lot empty and parked close to their delivery vehicles they knew we was going to walk in. 10 seconds after walking up to door it was locked. Kept knocking looking to see anyone to order pizza for 3 minutes (10:03) Exactly by looking at sati light cell time. Finally we noticed a drivers door and seen a man sitting on some racks talking to someone. After say 20 seconds of trying to talk to him through glass door unlocked he finally decided to get off his butt and come ask what we wanted. We asked to late to pick up a pizza he said closed at 10 . I said you turning us down by 3 minutes and your still open for delivery till midnight? He said yes. All over 3 minutes of close time for walk inns. That really worth losing a local mile away customer that's going to tell several hundred how me and my 75 year old father was treated. Guess their making plenty of money. But I'll surely make a heck of an effort to spread the news of this location. And to verify time their surveillance cameras will verify seeing us at front trying to get attention. And to add to it the pizza oven didn't have a single pizza rolling through it as you could see through front glass. .......guess their making a lot of money and tired and didn't wanna work tonight. i ordered 12 pizzas for a movie night @ our church on thurs 4-30 to be delivered @ 5:30 pm. the order came on time, however; there was no, i mean no, sauce on any of the pizzas. they were crusty and dry. it was embarrasing. 40 hungry people and lousy pizza. i doubt any of them will visit pizza hut again. $100. order wasn't worth $1.00. i called the store and the mgr was very nice and understood but since she didn't work on sat, she had no idea who, what, where, why or when. she said w/ an order that big, had she been there, she would have check the quality before they left the store. and she gave me the name of her rm who i intend to speak to on tues. sauce on a pizza is a necessary ingredient and i called domino's to find out if sauce had to be ordered as a topping. he said no, but they could make it w/o sauce if we wanted it that way. who would? eek! me thinks never again. :o( read more
