OMG were we ever disappointed with this place! We asked for gluten free crust & they pulled out a frozen crust! Then they didn't really explain how it works as far as ordering! We asked for regular pizza sauce & the young female employee who was waiting was kind of sheepish to the point where we couldn't hear her! She put about 1 teaspoon of sauce in the pizza & spread it around...really sparse! So we asked for more sauce & she dabbed about 4 dime sized blops of sauce! Then we had to ask her to speak up when going to other choices...we asked for green pepper & she put about 7 (I could literally count them) little pieces on there, same with everything else....really ridiculous! They had a tip jar but NO WAY! Got our pizza & crust soggy with the tiny little portions of toppings! Super chincy on toppings. I went to use the bathroom (unisex individual bathrooms) & it was a mess... paper towels all over the floor & trash overflowing...you could tell no one cleaned it for a long time...dirty! There were 7 young employees standing around so why couldn't they clean bathrooms. Someone seriously needs to teach them how to put toppings on & not be so damn stingy! & not make soggy pizza! The worst place to eat or work tomatoes are expired and likewise with the chicken the mushrooms smell like dead fish it's the most gross thing I witnessed the smell from the product is horrible and victor still makes the employees feed these things to the customers. I have been coming to this location inside of UTC Mall for 3 1/2 years. When I first started coming here around Christmas of 2020 The prices were extremely reasonable, the ingredients were fresh and the restaurant was busy all of the time! We are talking a 30 to 40 minute wait just to get your food. Since this time I have seen more turnover than you could imagine. We are talking 7 or 8 different managers in this period of time, not to mention countless other employees that have come and gone, only a few have managed to stick around. In the past few weeks, I have stopped in here to get either a small side, salad, and or a basic cheese pizza or cheesy sticks because only the basics because prices have gone through the roof! They are now charging a Dollar just to have marinara sauce with your "breadsticks"!!!! This is unbelievable you mean you would not include this in the price of your cheesy breadsticks or whatever they are called? If you want cheese on your salad or on your pizza it is an additional $2.60 for literally a small handful of shredded cheese in your hand!!! Are you kidding me??? Even the salads are so awful like the one I had today I couldn't eat it. The lettuce is wilted the tomatoes and onions don't taste right! This is a poorly run company a poorly managed location and I would strongly recommend going anywhere else other than here! For the price of one of their Small personal size pizzas, you could get a pizza that would serve 6 people from Papa John's, Pizza Hut or anywhere else. And I should mention that the pizzas are now about 20% smaller than what they were three years ago! Yep they are charging $3 - $5 dollars more for them! The young lady who took my order and made the pizza was very pleasant. The dining area was nice and clean. However, it was completely empty . I was literally the only person there. The crust of the pizza was light and crispy. That's where the positive ends. The young lady emptying the trash and keeping the dining area clean was a little rude. Sadly, That was literally the blandest pizza I've ever had in my life! They also tell fresh ingredients, but their red pepper and Parmesan comes in dried out little packets. SURPRISINGLY tasty, hits the spot for a sudden hunger pain, super fast (5-7 minutes), and fair/ good pricing for value given! What makes these thin or thick pizzas so delicious are (1) made in a SUPER hot BRICK fire oven. (2) a great flavorful sauce (3) excellent quality flour dough -- very very unusual for a fast food outlet in a big Mall. I love this place. The pies are about 12-14 inches wide, and if a thin crust you can order a simple cheese pizza for $5.99. They offer 6 " combos" each with very impressive ingredients and piled about 2.5 inches high before being popped into the roaring brick oven. Combos all priced at $9.99. They cut the pies into 6 pieces, I'm full after 3 and bring the other half home where I inhale it in 10 minutes. A thicker crust is $1.50 more. AND they offer REALLY tasty home made real Italian meatballs, two for $4.99 in a paper " one pound deli container" with a generous helping of their GREAT sauce, ricotta cheese ( yum) and a few other items. A plain cheese pizza with these meatballs = heaven for me! Oh, and extra sauce on the pie of course. Staff has been there a long time - - a sign that the Mngt is good to them. Fellow that cooks the pies in this PIPPING hot oven is quite expert! Never burned/ baked perfectly, ingredients not sliding off, hard to do. A clever concept Rise Pies offer pizza quickly made while you wait. They have several pizza suggestions and will also make a pizza however you want. I selected their Supreme, easier for me to decide at the pizza level and not pick and choose individual ingredients. They had a couple of crust choices, sauce choices, and many toppings. You watch, or instruct, as they construct your pie, they pop it into a pizza oven, and it is ready in a few minutes. I found the staff positive and helpful. It wasn't my first visit, so I already knew the process and the visit went well. I timed my visit from when I first spoke with a person until I left the counter with my pizza. While it took a little longer than I expected at just under 10 minutes, the good news is it took less than 10 minutes to get a hot out of the oven custom made pizza. And it was very good. The pizza had a thin crust and a good spread of toppings and cheese. A customer behind me even asked if his pizza could be cooked a little longer for a crispier crust, so not only do you have control over how the pizza is made, you can also have a say in how the pizza is cooked. I had read a review talking up the meatballs. You can order a side of Vernon's meatballs, which I did, and they were excellent. I used to love this place, but over the last 2-3 visits, it has gone way downhill. I went in yesterday and ordered a pizza with pepperoni, green peppers and extra cheese. The cost for this pizza came to $20.94. When I asked the manager why it was so much, he stated because I ordered extra cheese. Then I looked at my receipt and saw they charged me for a Big Ed. I was under the impression that a Big Ed was a loaded pizza. I was charged for a Big Ed with only 2 toppings and then another $2.39 for extra cheese- ridiculous. I could have gotten a better pizza for less at Papa John's! In addition, the pizza was under cooked, tasteless and they had no ice so the soda was warm. Neat concept in Pizza. They don't sell by the slice. It's a build your own pie, and each pie serves 1 or two. Sure they have combos they already have made up, but they also offer you the chance to build your own. The husbeast and I took full advantage of this. He got a pie with god knows what and Jalapeños on it and I went for a pepperoni and black olive. The two pies and two drinks ran a total of $23.00 mind you, his pie had about 6 toppings. Mine had 2. They were baked in a 600* oven and came out in about 10 minutes. For me, They could have baked it a bit longer, as I didn't feel the center was fully done, but the taste was good. I took half home. It's similar to Blaze but with a little extra offerings. Plus it only takes them 160 seconds to make and bake your pizza from the moment you place your order. We decided to get Vernons Meatballs (Two fresh 100% Beef Meatballs Slow Cooked in Vernon's Classic Sauce, served with fresh Ricotta Cheese. Try them with Rise Hot Peppers in Oil, available upon request.) The meat balls were just the right size. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza. The sauce is a bit on the mild spicy side but really good. Service: Win-Win. They're pleasant yet fast. Food: Good. I like this concept. You can pick from their menu or create your own personalized pizza. I got the Speciality Alfredo off the menu once then the other time I made my own with pineapples ham and feta cheese! Both were delicious. They have plenty of veggies, cheese, and meats. I had finished up an appointment at the Apple Store in the UTC mall, and my wife announced she was hungry. Rise Pies was close and my wife wanted to try it. This is a unique pizzeria in that you order your personal pie, then you move down the line explain which pie you ordered but which additional ingredients, if any, you would like added. You begin with your choice of pizza dough, in our case it was white or whole wheat. I won't knock whole wheat, but for a first time we went with white. The dough ball is spread out before you, these ae personal size pies, and then based on your order, they begin. I ordered a Vernon pie but held off on the hot peppers. My wife ordered a Margherita pie along with a side salad. I did ask for an order of Vernon's meatballs, but I gather I wasn't heard. Can't report on what I didn't eat. My wife built that side salad and added peppers, tomatoes, olives, onions, artichokes, etc. until it was piled high with stuff. She also had the white balsamic dressing which comes in its own container. To be honest, I was glad I didn't get the meatballs. I had to share my wife's salad, and in doing so I had to bring home half of my pizza and about a third of my wife's. The "gimmick" here is that the pie is made fresh in 160 seconds. A little under three minutes. And they did deliver in our case. These are thin crust pie which no doubt allows for the speed. You carry your pies and drink, a separate purchase, to your table. All they ask is when you bus your own table that you do not toss the metal pie plates or trays into the trash. We were there about 1:15 for a lunch, and everything moved along quite briskly and the place was maybe a little over a third filed. It was a pleasant experience and the pizzas were good. My wife especially liked her choice. I could see a return if we were in the area. Our bill came to a little under $24.00. I thought it was actually fun. read more

Absolutely loved this place! My girlfriend and I can never agree on pizza since we always split it. We weren't super hungry so we split this pie as well. It's like a Moes type place where you walk down the line and let them know what you want on it. Dough is already pressed and on a pizza flat. They add the sauce, cheese and you pick your toppings.
