Was looking for a non-chain pizza and saw this place wasn't too far away. Getting into the parking lot was a bit tricky from the east, but it's worth it. The place is set up with a few booths and tables and an order counter... after sitting for a few minutes it became apparent there might not be table service. Went to the counter and snagged a couple menus. Decided on a lasagna pizza... nothing I've had before - but figured it was worth a shot. It wasn't very long before the pizza was brought to the table and it looked really nice - crisp around the edges and the first bite made it obvious that this is really really good pizza because the crust is just how I like it. The wall inside is decorated with daily specials and on Saturday they have $2 bottled beer. Great little spot tucked in by a Dunkin' Donuts coffee shop well worth finding. read more

Driving from Orlando to fort Myers and we looked up family owned pizza shops and this brick oven pizza shop came up right off the highway. The Pizza was exactly what I wanted! Restaurant is super clean and the staff was awesome. Very friendly and welcoming. We only came for pizza but we'd love to come back to try their wings and specialty pizzas. Maybe on the way back to Orlando. Great spot! read more

Love supporting local! Stopped here on a friends recommendation and glad we did!The pizza sauce is very fresh and bright and the meatball/pepperoni pizza w/ no cheese was very flavorful. Really great service! I have placed an order to pick up, driven thru, had it delivered, and all of them we have always received a great service. The food was always delicious, hot and exactly what we ordered. I believe for the delicious food their prices are very fair. They are close to my house so it's very convenient for me to pick up and order for delivery. Our favorites are the chicken parmigiana dinner. They provide a big piece of chicken, compared to other restaurants. My son and boyfriend love their wings. A must try! Especially on Sunday events. I have also noticed they have daily lunch specials which is great. They have a good amount of seating inside, we haven't actually dined in however the ambiance was good, not too loud. A few TV's around, and decent parking that is shared with DD. We will continue to keep coming back! read more

I love good Pizza. I also love a good Stromboli. I have a tough time choosing between them, but I can always get Pizza, so I normally choose a Stromboli if offered over Pizza. D. Americo's stromboli was great. I chose Pete's stromboli, which had ham, pepperoni, mozzarella and provolone cheese. It was great. I also ordered an extra sauce (it came with one, but I always want a ton of sauce. It was as good as any Stromboli that I've had. My wife had a cheese steak with onions and peppers. She said it was very good. We were staying at a resort in the area, so I won't be able to get it again any time soon, but would love to be closer so that I could have it all the time. Since stromboli is just a folded over pizza without the sauce inside, I am sure that there pizza is just as good. read more

My first visit to this dining establishment yesterday and I was absolutely blown away. RJ offered excellent customer service. You order at the counter and the food is brought to you. His recommendations were also spot on! We had the manicotti, ravioli and several slices of pizza and it was all delicious. The tomato and marinara sauces have a nice sweetness about it: just right to offset the natural tartness of tomatoes. Owner Sal puts LOTS of love into his cooking. We had small children with us and RJ even offered to cut the pizza in smaller pieces for little hands to handle better. That's the best customer service I've received at a restaurant for a LONG while. We had a blast here and, although I don't live in this area, my niece does and they've got themselves a lifetime customer. I'll be sure to eat here whenever I visit her in the Brandenton area too. This is a hidden gem! Though it's right off a main road, it's a little tucked away and might be easily missed. We were referred to this place and it did not disappoint. Everything we had was amazing! The BBQ bacon fries, the small salad(which wasn't so small), the garlic knots, the pizza, and even the cannoli! Served by friendly, very helpful staff who were constantly working to cook, clean, take orders, and provide top notch customer service. Everyone claims there's not good pizza around this area but they obviously haven't been here yet. Definitely one of my top choices. I have two others I like in the area and I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite pizza alone, but D'Americos by far has a better selection of foods to choose from. Their pizza sauce was a great flavor. Plenty of indoor seating available and there was no wait on a Saturday night. Will definitely be back and recommend this hidden gem to everyone who asks. read more

I'm from NY. I'm brutal with pizza. Idc what any Florida Karen has to complain about .. this place is absolutely as good as a five star pizzeria in the New York / New Jersey suburbs. Only, only difference is you can't get an individual slice .. but the quality, ratio of cheese to sauce and flavor is New York Italian as it gets. I crave this place's Pizza and go often. This is the best pizza around. Every time a new pizza place opens I will try it however I keep coming back back here and have done so I say for over 10yrs now. No matter if you get a pizza or something else it's great. The staff are always on top of things and very friendly. They have a few tables where you can be served inside and the do serve beer. I randomly got recommended to try this place as a pizza lover and I am not disappointed. The service was amazing inside, through the Drive Thru and over the phone. The store is small but cute and relaxing if you want to sit down while you eat.
