This place is a hidden gem in Bradenton, FL. Im usually not a huge pizza person but this place is my favorite in town. Especially for a quick bite. The ingredients are super fresh and I was happy to learn that their meat is nitrate free! I love that I don't feel gross after eating their pizza like I do with any others. Also, their salads are underrated!!!! For a spot that is designed to be quick dining, I've never come across an establishment that you can a huge salad made to order. The place feels like a community hub or sorts. They have a kids table with coloring and other activities for the littles. Fundraisers or activities that engage their patrons seem to be going on monthly. Which all just contribute to the good and warm vibes of this place. The staff seem genuinely happy to be there. Which, can be hard to come by these days. I saw a comment on here about how their socialization was a con. However, I have to say, the staff might be the biggest pro to this place. It seems like the group that works here all are a team who get along and have fun! Service is always quick and they are committed to getting everything right for their customers. Very disappointing experience. The staff appeared to be mostly high school students, and unfortunately, the few adults working with them displayed the same lack of professionalism. The pizza looked great and tasted fine, but the service was extremely poor. The wait to order was long because employees seemed more focused on socializing than working efficiently. Several customers behind me received their orders before I did, and when my pizza was finally ready, it sat uncut for another few minutes. I had to point it out myself. By that point, I was hungry and feeling my blood sugar drop, which made the experience even more frustrating. If management wants this location to succeed, staff need better supervision and training to understand when it's time to have fun and when it's time to serve customers--starting with the adults on duty. read more

If you're looking for a quick lunch or dinner, well this might be a good option for you. We had a couple pizzas for lunch yesterday and not bad if you're looking at it from a fast food perspective. The toppings were decent, the crust thin (what you expect in an establishment of this kind), the taste decent. The time in took to make it was respectable. The cons: you really have to push them on the sauce and cheese, especially the cheese to get a good amount that a pizza deserves. The place itself is clean and inviting for a casual bite. The sauce, cheese, sausage and pepperoni were all good the crust was not as crisp as I would like but was ok. In reference to the crust, next time I will ask them to leave it in the oven for another 2 minutes to make it crispy. The service is excellent, the folks behind the counter greet you as you walk in, all the ingredients are fresh and they make the pizza in front of you. We went to the downtown Seattle MOD Pizza and really liked it. I was excited when the one in Bradenton opened, and visited the first day with my family. It wasn't the same, but I assumed it was because they just opened. We went back a few weeks later to give it another chance. The food quality and taste just isn't there. The food is highly processed, cheap industrialized food, lacks flavor, and is straight from the Sysco truck. The cheese is filled with powered cellulose and food stabilizers. The key lime dessert has over 50 ingredients, stuffed with preservatives, the sauces are filled with corn syrup, gums and a bunch of filler. The sausage has corn syrup added. Stopped in on a Friday evening not very busy maybe one group ahead of us. Still took quite a bit for someone to offer some help. One staff member was talking so loudly to the other group in line he was helping it really made me think about eating somewhere else. He was loudly stating his careless attitude toward this place since he is not the getting the promotion he wanted at the place. So-so food. Very stingy with sauce and cheese and toppings. A mini side salad is a whopping $8.29. We ordered a medium salad and the container it came in was only 1/3 filled so we asked for more salad. My daughter needs a gluten free pizza but we had to tell the guy making it he had to switch gloves and clean the area before he prepared hers. When the pizza was done they call your name but you won't hear it if there's a lot of people there and no one makes an effort to bring it to you. Oh and don't sit under the freezing AC blowers.
