This Pizza Hut in Hastings always gives us hot correctly prepared food but it takes a long time to get it. We DoorDash and the woman manager there won't even give any extra packets of cheese or pepper flakes. McDonald's next-door gives Dashers free drinks. She's also pretty rude. I would give one star but the other employees there are nice and when we order it personally for our family it always tastes good. read more

I absolutely love this location. The service is always great, and recently I had such a good pizza, I couldn't stop thinking about it and had to get it again 2 days later. Unfortunately, that order had some ingredients missing from some items (it was honestly still delicious just not what we ordered or were craving). I was a little bummed and reached out to them to let them know. I know, it's a little petty, but that cupping pepperoni hits and it was a big bummer. Anyway, the pizza was so good, I went to order it again and happened to check my email before I did so... they sent me a code for a free pizza! The timing, you couldn't make this up. Definitely not customer service oriented. Stopped in to order a to go pizza and the person at the counter was rather rude, when we asked for a drink the lady actually said " which one or do you want me pick one at random" So, after hearing her say that the machine asked for a tip with my payment, and I selected no. Shortly after, I heard her telling another employee that "I'll take care of it because they didn't tip" Will not return. Recently had a large pepperoni and sausage pizza from Pizza Hut. I can safely say it was the worst takeout/fast food pizza I have ever had. The pizza was slightly over cooked and dry. The taste in general was unpleasant. Very poor quality pizza and for the price charged, not worth it. read more

I've lived in Hastings 8 yrs & that I know of only 6 pizza joints(Lil' Caesar's closed). The only mom & pop shop has ok pizza, but the staff act like a bunch of gorillas. That being said, the rest here are franchise pizza restaurants. I guess how I'm looking at it....it's a small town with not a lot of great food options. That being said, staff here have always been very nice & respectful. Food gets to us fast & hot. This Pizza Hut & one other place in Hastings has the best pizza in town. Is it made by a grandma from Italy or would Gordon Ramsey rav over it...nope. Though, it's still good, fast & great customer service. I think we've become a society that doesn't do simple anymore & expect all to wow us. If it's clean & decent flavor food...I'm good. It's a Pizza Hut in Hastings, MN....just saying. read more

They have screwed up my chicken wings order the last three times I was there. I ordered bone-in wings all three times and all three times. Boneless wings. Shame on me I didn't check it before I left. They finally got my order right last time I was there but then got ranch dipping sauce instead of blue cheese I can't stand ranch but I was starved and ate it anyway. Wow, have the prices gone up for every single item on the menu! This point has nothing to do with my review, but $2 per topping, really Pizza Hut? We had a lovely server named Jared. Since we were one of just a couple visitors at lunch on a Sunday, he was very attentive. Even my kids noticed when he brought more soda without us asking and brought our food out as soon as it was ready, which made it hot and fresh and delightful! The only Pizza Hut my family has had for the past year or so has been delivery, and we mostly get big boxes to save money. Actually having a pizza that doesn't come on cardboard was quite refreshing. They must have changed their crust recipe because it tasted kind of sweet, in a good way. Tons of meat on the Meat Lovers pizza made the price almost bearable. And if you love chocolate, I would seriously consider getting the Hershey's chocolate chip dessert cookie. It seemed like it was chocolate filled and not just sprinkled with chocolate chips. The only reason this isn't a five star review is the strong grease smell coming from the kitchen and the freezing temperature in the dining area. To sum it up, I'll come in to see Jared, to save on the delivery charge, and get fresh delicious pizza again for sure! read more

My boyfriend and I live fairly close to the pizza hut here in Hastings. One of our favorite things to order is the wings. When we do order, they give you a tracker so you k ow where they're at in the process of making your food and they give you an option to get a notification when they are out for delivery. The wings are always hot and delicious and the pizzas are good too. Pizza isn't my favorite to begin with but thats more a personal preference than their lack of quality. The only gripe that I have is that the wings are pricey in my opinion for what you get. But flavor and freshness is a 10! read more

Pizza is my favorite food. I like to order for delivery. I prefer Boneless Chicken wings, Buffalo Mild, the brownies and meat lover's pizza. The food is always excellent, and the delivery drivers are fantastic. They even remember me and my brother. We live in the same building. read more

We were in for lunch yesterday. I had the buffet. It was terrible!! We were there one hour. Only one fresh pizza was put out. Bread sticks hard . There was one woman sitting in a booth the whole time!! She looked like she was the manage/ one in charge. Never moved!! It is lunch time! I told the man I was very disappointed. Lunch visit but I was there with the kids who wanted to use his free pizza good reader coupon. Bad smell right at the door. Should have walked away. Table had to be cleaned before sitting down. Everything appears dirty and sticky. Carpet looks bad. That smell is still with me. I saw the buffet but wanted to order my own specific pizza. Server says I'd have too wait a little longer. I'm ok with that but... I get the impression I'm suppose to order buffet still but ask for a menu. Two minutes later he's back to ask if we know what we want. I ask for menu again and we order drinks. Third time no menu still so I cave and get the damn buffet. Kids have to wait without food now. Drink all their milk long before anything shows up. I get nothing I want off buffet even though server offered to make a request. Previous patron left a practical joke for us... All the covers on salt Parmesan and red peppers loose. Nice and sticky. Yuck. Ask for water in the kids milk cup. Takes the cup back to kitchen. Fills with water in former milk cup with no rinse. I didn't really expect it but I think it's something I'd do if I worked for tips. Pay bill never return to make change. Sorry guys but I'm just gonna lie to the kids and tell them their reading coupons now work at pretty much anywhere else and pay whatever it takes to avoid this place. read more

We ordered online and were told it would be here at 7:31. At 7:45, with still no pizza we called. You evidently don't get to talk to the local store anymore and get a national call center. They only offer excuses. Ridiculous service. read more

If I could leave less than one star for this company I would. I have ordered from Pizza Hut for years and haven't ever had issues until just the last few months. Consistently, every single order, I have ran into issues where they forget something, usually the sauces, sometimes the drinks. Tonight I tried to call the store after I ordered, intending to add onto my order and pay cash for the items they normally forget to send, if they actually remembered to bring them this time. I called a local number, but I was connected to the call center, where the guy on the line was so unbelievably rude that I don't know how he still has a job. I've worked call centers and you do NOT treat your customers the way he talked to me. He said there was no way to connect me to the actual store and when I asked if he could please just add the sauces, he informed me that the price of my order was now $42 instead is $25 because the discounts I had gotten online came off when he altered my order. I told him forget it, hung up and called another number I found online that looked like it might be the actual store phone number and ended up in the call center again. The second guy was very nice and polite and said he would connect me to the actual store so I could talk to them.....ring ring, and I'm back at the call center AGAIN! I told the guy that I was supposed to be being transferred to the store directly and his response was "that's doubtful, we don't do that, you can only talk to the call center." Honestly, just the worst customer experience ever. Their food is losing its appeal more and more as the lack of good customer service makes every meal a stressful event. Who wants to wait 45 minutes while they go back and get your forgotten sauces and drinks, meanwhile your pizza gets cold and your kids get crabby because they want to eat?? I've left feedback on the app, which is completely useless....they clearly don't follow up at all with customer complaints or issues. I was told I could call and ask to speak to a manager, but considering I still can't figure out how to contact the store directly, I'm not even sure how that is possible. I'd have to go in, which doesn't exactly thrill me to have to take time out of my day to drive there to hope the manager is actually working, and only maybe get a resolution. Considering at least two pizza places have closed in our town in the last year or so, maybe they should be a little more caring about their customers and make sure issues are addressed and at least have a way for someone to call their store directly! Seriously, hiding behind the call center just signifies a place that doesn't give a rip about truly caring for their customers. Every time I have walked in their store it's completely empty, yet even then the service is just horrible and it takes forever for them to get anything done at all, or even to be acknowledged as being in the store to begin with as they are usually watching TV. About the only other place that has worse service is the Cottage Grove, MN Wendy's, but at least you can actually speak to a real person in the store when they screw up your order.
