I am beyond disappointed with this order. I spent almost $80 -- including an $11 tip -- and ended up with a meal that was practically inedible. The noodles were so overcooked the ends were hard and crispy, and even though I asked for extra sauce, the whole dish was dry as the Sahara desert. The calzone was soggy and unevenly cooked, like it was thrown together without a second thought. The mozzarella sticks weren't even done -- soft on the outside with a hard, cold chunk of cheese in the middle. The chicken wings were supposed to be hot honey, but they were literally just honey. No heat. No flavor. Nothing. And the cookie? Burnt on the sides and bottom and so hard I genuinely felt like I could chip a tooth trying to bite it. I shouldn't have to worry about dental damage when all I wanted was dessert. I am so frustrated because I do not have money to waste like this. Super delicious food, large portions, fast delivery and great service! Flew into town late at night due to flight delays and was too tired to move my limbs. So ordered delivery from this restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. Ordered the ravioli which came with a side of garlic bread. I had expected probably one piece of garlic bread instead I got a whole pie. See photo. The portion size huge and priced very very reasonably. The ravioli was full of meat and the meat sauce was amazing, definitely loaded with good ingredients. They did not skimp on anything. Everything tasted delicious. The delivery was really fast, they were early, and they called before they got here so that I could get dressed and go downstairs to get the food. The guy who did the delivery was super nice. We had been ordering from Sarpino's however the last two times we have been disappointed. Our last order was said to be delivered, we called and said it never showed up and we're told to wait a bit to see if the driver would come with it. After a half hour we called back and we're told it was out for delivery. However it never showed up again and we had to call and place a new order by that time 2 hours had passed. When we finally got the order it was wrong, we called and tried to get reimbursed for the wrong order. So when they took off the wrong items it didn't meet the threshold for the deal which was the whole point of ordering so they charged us for the complete order and only took off the pizza. We live a few minutes away from Sarpino's in West St. Paul. I received an email co firming my order and that I could expect it between 7 and 7qt pm. We ordered a few minutes before 6 pm. I checked the app for progress and according to that, our order was "baking" for over an hour. At 7:40 pm, I called to see what was taking so long and was told they had just put my order in the oven, so it would be about twenty minutes. We didn't get our pizza until after 8pm. I had the same experience the last time I ordered but tried again because their pizza is so unique and delicious. I won't be ordering from them again because the frustration is just not worth it. They said I would give me a discount but my credit card still shows the full amount. Plus a gave them a good tip. I am really disappointed because we try to support our local businesses. read more

This was my favorite pizza place. I recommended it to everyone. It had a delicious sauce with perfect crust. I've ordered from here many times. I ordered it for my family a month ago and it was great. I ordered it two weeks ago and the dough on each pizza was so undercooked it was inedible and there was a large space on the cheesebread with nothing on it. I ordered it tonight and again the crust was undercooked and soggy. I'm done with Sarpino's. I hope no one I recommended it to orders from here. read more

This was the first time trying this place. They are 99% pizza delivery, but you can go in to order takeout. That's what I did. I tried takeout mainly because I wanted to see the inside of the place and see the pizza's being made. I'm pleased. They have a nice clean store here. We ordered salads and pizza. SARPINO'S CLASSIC Pizza This is a thicker pan crust type pie. Being from Chicago I liked it. It was soft and chewy with a nice crispy exterior. The pizza sauce was a sweeter and tangy sauce that I liked a lot. The remaining ingredients were all fresh and flavorful. My GF noticed that it wasn't overly salty. SIGNATURE Salad My Sarpino Classic salad was fresh and HUGE! It's a meal all by itself. The rest will be lunch tomorrow. Despite reading negative reviews about Sarpino's delivery, I decided to place an order. Big mistake. I used the online ordering system, which said the Oakdale or West Saint Paul locations were within delivery range. After completing an order for the Oakdale store, I got an error message saying that my request couldn't be processed. I tried again with West Saint Paul and the order went through just fine. This was at 9:45 AM when the store opens at 10:00 AM, so they couldn't possibly be too busy. I received a confirmation email and a delivery time of 10:45 AM. At 11:15, I called the store to ask if my online order went through. Without giving my name or address, the man who answered said, "Are you 1261 ______ Street?" I said yes. He said, "Yeah we don't deliver there. You need to call Oakdale." I explained how my Oakdale order was rejected, that their website directed me to his location, and that I received a confirmation email. He told me again that they would not deliver to me. I asked him why I didn't receive a phone call or some sort of notification and he replied "I just now saw your order." Again, I was speaking to him 30 minutes after my pizza was supposed to have arrived. I told him that I hoped my credit card was not going to be charged. He said he would cancel my order, but I will still be checking my account to make sure that actually happens. PS - I found it fishy that I had to either pay cash, or add my tip to the online order as I paid with a card. Seems like Sarpino's gets away with being late with their "free deliveries" when their tips are already guaranteed. I won't ever bother with any Sarpino's location after this experience. read more

Was excited because of all the reviews. Was fairly disappointed. I paid 17 dollars (21 in total with tax and tip) for one greek salad with extra feta and extra chicken. For a 20 dollar salad i was expecting something pretty substantial. What i ended up getting was a pretty lackluster salad. Almost entirely lettuce with minimal veggies, and extremely extremely modest amount of feta cheese (like a sprinkle). Considering i paid for extra feta i was pretty disappointed. The chicken was pretty chewy and had no grill flavor like it had been cooked on a flat top and not actually grilled. I also paid for extra chicken and was not impressed at all. Im a professional cook and do it for a living and would have preferred to not have it cut up into little chewy pieces but rather larger, juicier pieces with actual grill flavor. Im trying to be healthy and go for salads and guessing if i had gotten their pizza or wings it is probably what they specialize in so i may give them another chance in the future, not going for the salads though. read more

I am a pizza person- it's my fav food- So, I decided to try them as I have never had 1 of their pizza's. Well, for a 2 topping medium= 20 bucks. (Domino's was closed) At least I know I will never waste money on another pizza there. It was average or below in every way. The dough was thick- thick like a pan pizzas. The crust wasn't much there nor did I care as it wasn't any good. The sauce- is just ok. It's tangy and nothing else. The peperoni was under the cheese? Why? It was flavorless. Other than the texture- if I closed my eyes= I wouldn't be able to tell just from the taste. The onions?! Well, there was an ok amount on- the problem was they were SO THIN, once the were completely rendered- other than the stringy texture of them= I wouldn't know by taste. I always wonder why you get these franchises that simply AREN'T as good as the older franchises? This wasn't anywhere close to being as good as Domino's= which I just consider a Good Pizza. I haven't tried Toppers or Jets yet- they are on my list. But this pizza was below average in every way. It made me wish I had just walked to Walmart and bought something frozen to nuke, lol. I happen to LOVE Sarpinos. Their buffalo chicken pizza is the best I've ever had! Never had a bad experience with this place, delivery is free and timely and the pizza is always good. It's not going to be the best pizza you've ever had, but along the lines of pizza chains, it really doesn't get any better. if you're still ordering dominos or pizza hut, it's high time you upgrade your pizza life, you won't regret it trust me. Never received order...driver claims all doors were locked and he tried to call at my place of business. I work in a theatre and am not able to be by my desk at all times. Here is the thing...we had a show going on so all of the front theater doors were wide open and at the Stage Door where he was to deliver had an attendant right in front of another OPEN door.
