Stopped in here Mother's Day evening and we were slightly disappointed. The service was very fast, efficient and friendly. The food was a bit mediocre. The onion rings were really good but not $13 good. (Sorry there isn't a picture of the onion rings. There were nine onion rings and they were hand battered and fresh.) My patty melt was OK but nothing special and hubby's hamburger was good. I know all prices have gotten higher when eating out, but these prices seemed pretty high for mediocre food that just came with chips.

It's a bar with a fun name and bar food. Nothing overly special about it. Staff is friendly and they have some good swag. They multiple burger options. Burger is like a smash burger and bun is good enough. Typical bar/pub vibe.

This was my first time here and it will now be my home away from home. I had the cheese curds and the pretzel - awesome picks. The atmosphere is awesome and the staff were even greater. This is a must-see.

Randomly stopped by to cool down from the heat and wow was I impressed!! The fried cheese is excellent and all the fried food is amazing, the beer choice is great, the service is quick, and the prices are very reasonable. This is my new favorite place in Hastings, I will definitely come back. The staff is also very friendly and at tentative, very down to earth.

Had to check this place out. It's definitely got an old feel to it but with a newer menu! We ordered cheese curds and they tasted great, plenty of cheese with a light breading. I had the nut burger (bacon infused patty with peanut butter), it was a good burger just a little messy for me. Our waitress was very attentive and brought refills very quickly. Downsides: not a lot of seating and the group next to us had 4 kids that were not well behaved... One tip for the cook: cook the French fries for about a minute or 2 longer, they weren't crispy.

This was a really cool spot to check out. It is a smaller restuarant/bar right on the main strip of downtown Hasings with a lot of good food and drink options. From Cocktails, Mocktails, Beer, Bloody Mary's and other drink options they have a ton of options. The food all sounded great, so hard to decide. We ordered Elsworth Cheese Curds for the table and they were great and it was a large serving for an appetizer for 4 people. For a meal, I got the Chicken Tender Melt with a caesar salad. It was all very good, but would try a different sandwich the next time. I wasn't in the mood for a burger, but I would like to try the bacon infused burger with peanut butter.

There was some servicing of the fridge and freezer so our menu was limited but still excellent! Would definitely come back when their menu was back up to full. Still a great little stop for lunch! The style of the restaurant is super cool too. Very old fashioned.

One of the best things about Culver's is that, even though they have all the traditional fast foods (burgers, onion rings, etc.) they also have better, There is pot roast and fish, and more. Culver's makes you feel good, not bloated and heavy. The people make you feel like they are your next door neighbor. Very small portion for the price, the caramel couldn't have been more than a tablespoon of caramel, and probably more like a teaspoon of it and only on one side of dish. I felt like it might as well have been just a single scoop of vanilla custard (soft serve). The nuts usually go on top but were mixed in as if it were a concrete mixer, lol! I know, just be glad to have something to eat, but when you pay a lot for food, it should be better!

I've had the privilege--both for work and for fun--of visiting many interesting places, including…read morerestaurants. That gives me a little insight into what makes a good restaurant, in addition to being a bit of a chef myself. My first time at Muddy Waters. A very cozy place with an impressive patio. The service was impeccable and very professional. Jessica really paid attention to every detail. Now, on to the bar. Unfortunately, I don't know the bartender's name. She made an absolutely delicious Manhattan--and I know a thing or two about Manhattans. When my lovely guest ordered a Sangria, it was almost an earthquake. I say this because in all restaurants--except in Spain and other countries that know how to make it--here in my country, they don't know how to make it. Sangria comes from the word "sangre," meaning "blood," which is red--unless you're royalty with blue blood. Just kidding! Everyone makes it with white wine and chopped fruit. In Argentina, that's called "Clericot," which comes from the English term "Claret Cup." Anyway, my congratulations to the excellent Lady bartender, who created a red sangria, her own way--delicious, refreshing, and very flavorful. Remember, sangria is drunk in Spain, mostly in places like Seville in the summer to enjoy that Andalusian sun. We ordered the Baked Brie. We thought we were going to get a dish just like all the ones we've tried at other restaurants--bought at the market and baked. This Baked Brie, however, is fantastic: custom-made and stuffed. I won't tell my readers what's inside--you'll have to go try it for yourselves. In a word: authentic, creative, and delicious. Another thing worth highlighting is the pork chop. Perfectly grilled. Very hard to find out there. Most of the time, it's dry and chewy. A suggestion, the Rack Ribs, I would cook them on the BBQ sauce. They were a little dry. I skipped dessert--I'm saving that for my next visit. See you soon...
