I drive through Macon a lot and this PH is pretty solid. I do mostly order food for carry out so I cannot speak extensively about the service, though my interactions have usually been positive. And in reading most other reviews, the primary complaint is the service. So, I'd recommend ordering food for takeout. Cheese sticks and pizza are pretty standard fare if you've ever been to other Pizza Huts. And it may be true that PH in general does not provide as high of quality product as it used to, I still find some of the flavors and ambience quite nostalgic as I used to love eating out at PH as a kid. One of the best pizza huts ive ever ate at. Service and food are great. I'm so glad they survived the covid shutdowns.

So going into Pizza Hut is decent or at least the last time I went, but now I order online and was told that they have a new way of cooking to get the pizzas out faster. I ordered a large pizza and cheese sticks, the pizza was horrible drenched in grease and soggy, part of the pizza was pretty much uncooked same for the cheese sticks, but no grease. Absolutely horrible, horrible service, sat and waited for an hour to then be told our food wasn't even started

So where to begin.. we arrived around 6:30 and there were only a couple other tables full. We placed out order. 2 large pizzas, 1 small pizza, and a small boneless wing. The two large pizzas came out in an appropriate amount of time maybe 15 minutes after ordering but the small pizza didn't come out till 20 minutes later when everyone else was almost done eating and my boneless wing did not come out till we were done and paying. They still tried to charge for the wing but after I asked they removed it. The food was good and hot, just mediocre service. It would have been more understandable had they been rush hour busy but it wasn't. Definitely my worst experience at a pizza hut. Would not recommend. read more

It's clear that this place has been recently updated or is very new! We got our pasta to go but it would've been nice to sit down because it was a really nice place on the inside. Great food quality and very nice customer service when we asked for plates, napkins, etc . Just a stop on our road trip but I recommend! read more

I'll always love and be a fan of Pizza Hut, but the sauce or flavor isn't what it use to be. The cheese sticks or bread sticks I use to order when I was younger are totally different now. But hey, you can't beat the online deals this days so this will always be one of my favs. read more

Both times I have been here I have waited an unreasonable amount of time for someone to acknowledge my presence at the front of the restaurant. Today there were two people in line waiting to pay when I walked in to order carry-out. I timed it. 7 minutes in, (without anyone paying ANY attention to the front - there was a waitress who worked very hard to keep her back turned) a large man in a dirty t-shirt meandered out of the swinging doors and looked our way. He wandered back into the back. The gal in front of me decided to pay cash and slammed her folder on the counter. Very surprised she didn't just walk without paying - no one at the Hut would have known the difference. Then an older woman walked out of the swinging doors, sighed heavily and gave the two of us remaining a strained look. Young gal paid her tab and left. That leaves me at the counter. Dirty T-shirt man meanders back out and wanders over to stand mute at the register without looking at me. Older woman takes the time to put the cash away, pull the change (tip, I assume) and rearrange the cash in the drawer before making eye contact with me and acknowledging my presence. Timer says 15 minutes before she deigns to do me the favor of taking my take-out order. Never gonna waste my time here again. read more
