I'm a fan. Yes, of Pizza Hut. Well, of this one. Of course I've been to various Pizza Huts since I was a kid. It might have been the first pizza I had- there wasn't exactly a lot going on in Findlay, Ohio in the '70s. I remember going to local joints a bit later, but my earliest pizza memories come from the Hut. It was never great pizza, but it was good, and it was a family fun night to go have pizza and play video games. Since then, it seems like I've ended up at one every few years, and never hated it, but always preferred more interesting, non-corporate places. This time, I wanted pizza and wings, and this was handy (plus I think it's the only place in Marysville I haven't tried yet, except White Castle, and, well, I don't know if that is ever going to be on my list...) I stopped in just as Honda people are going to work, and it was dead. Not a great sign. But, it was clean, and service was super friendly. And they had $5 deals, so I got a pepperoni pizza and wings, and was feeling satisfied. Then they brought some breadsticks- "we're making a new batch so we'd have to toss these anyway." They were a bit dry, but pretty good, and a nice gesture. My wings came out next. A bigger order than I expected, and though you can get them in sauce I wanted to try two different ones so they brought those on the side. Pretty generic chicken chunks, and pretty generic sauces- I tried garlic and teriyaki. Fine, but nothing special. And then they brought the pizza. I was sure there was a mistake- surely the $5 one is a personal pizza? Nope, a medium. So now I had a ton of food. I was hungry, but jeez. I did my best, and took the rest for later. The pizza was, well, again fine, but not great. Very greasy. Plenty of pepperoni, decent crust. So, the food was good, not great. But for $10, I had about three meals worth of food, and since it's pizza, bread, etc., it held up well even though I couldn't refrigerate it at work. I will be back- I had a good meal, at a great price, with great service in a relaxed atmosphere.

This is what I got when I ordered a pizza for delivery... literally an empty box

We are new to the area and was told to try Buckeye Family Pizzeria by our new friends since my wife…read moreand I really love Benny's. I ordered the BLT pizza and my wife ordered the Parm and Garlic Wings. We noticed everyone received complimentary popcorn and we weren't even asked if we would like some. The place was not really busy at all, probably because it felt like it was less than 60 degrees inside and everyone was wearing coats. One person at the bar had gloves on. We asked our server if they could turn up the heat and we were told that this is typical this time of year in here. The bathrooms were dirty, freezing, and the water never even got warm washing my hands. The service was slow and it took what seemed like forever to get our food. When we finally received our food the pizza's lettuce had a little brown texture to it. The pizza was extremely greasy and taste-wise didnt hold a candle to Benny's. My wife's wings were slimey on the inside. We told our server and she told us that happens when customers don't ask for them twice baked. She took the wings back for the second baking. This made a big difference and she said the flavor was a little better prior to them being twice baked. Her soda was fine and she was offered a refill. I had a Coors Light that tasted flat so I switched to water after that. Probably would have had 2-3 beers but not when it tasted flat. Overall we were very disappointed with the experience. Not a clean restaurant, food was not good, service was mediocre, restrooms were cold and dirty, and we froze for the hour and a half we were there. We will not be returning and will just stay at our staple. Bennys!

But, I needed some things for dinner and then for lunch at work the next day, so I thought I'd try several things. First the crustless pizza. Basically meat or vegetables in a dish. No pasta, no carbs really. It was good, but obviously very definitely not healthy. Greasy and salty, but good on a cold day. Next I tried the wings. Also OK, but nothing special. I did polish them off. They were meaty, but not very flavorful until they were doused with sauce. Finally I tried the Italian sub. A pretty standard sub, decent bread, decent meat and veggies. Nothing special. Service was good on a busy day. Prices are reasonable. I think I'll stick with the pizza buffet at other locations.

I'll start with a positive - the pizza is always consistent and the prices are reasonable. I'm…read moretypically not a person to leave reviews but after this evening I've had enough with Marco's in Marysville. Over the last couple years we have ordered from here many times despite having several issues with some of our orders, specially around timing. There have been a minimum of 10-12 occasions where we have ordered, shown up to the store after the time specified on our confirmation, and our pizzas had not yet been put in the oven. A few of these occasions were after an hour wait/lead time. We would occasionally stop ordering from here because of the delays but then be mailed a code for a credit/free pizza because we hadn't ordered in some time so we would order again because who doesn't love free pizza. This evening, we placed an order which went through online at 9:03pm according to my confirmation. I show up to the store 15 minutes later (I'll also add here that there was a person sitting at the lone table in the waiting area with no shoes or socks on. How is this allowed in a place that prepares food?! It's bizarre but I can't make it up) and was told that our pizza was not made as the order was received after their closing time. I was puzzled as; 1 - My order processed and my card was charged. 2 - Google maps (where I started my order) said the closing time was 10pm. 3 - THE CLOSING TIME PRINTED ON THE DOOR SAID 10pm. 4 - The neon "open" sign in the window was lit up. I was told that they attempted to call me but was given some excuse as to why the call couldn't go through. I have no problem if you decide to close earlier, but you can't just do it without first properly updating the most basic and necessary things needed to do so. It's beyond clear that there is a serious dysfunction in the management of this place and this was the last straw for us. No amount of free coupons can get us to order from here again.
